LuminethMage
Wow, with real light, outstanding. Putting the stuff under the base is a really good idea! 🤩

Pyrescribe
Played a battle against Ironjawz. Total Conquest, 2000 points. I took Syar. Opponent gave me first turn, so I had to speed an archer unit to get them to bracket the Mawcrusha. If you follow the arrows, you can get the gist of what happened. Each picture is what the table looked like at the beginning of a player turn. The arrows indicate roughly where those models would go during that turn. I'll come back and edit with some of my key takeaways from this fight when I get to my laptop. I mostly wanted to see if this format could communicate anything about the battle. LuminethMage
It does communicate that this went pretty well for you : ). And you can see where the troops go. You can understand the flow of the battle. Waiting for the narrative part! It might even be good to make a dedicated battle report thread. Sadly I haven't had time to keep the narrative campaign going, nor does anyone in my (4 person) meta have the attention span to match my enthusiasm for that aspect of the hobby. I'm just thrilled to play with the people that I'd want to play games with anyway (we're all avid hobbyists too). All my army's fluff and stuff is just headcanon now--less linear, unserialized, more amorphous. I just wanted to say that Emotional Transference is absolutely brutal against Brutes. ThalmorRepresentative
Working on another one 🙃. So, I'm wondering if I should fill in the inner circle of the banner with another color? If so, what color do you guys think would compliment the rest of the scheme. I'm thinking either the same blue I used on the cloak, or the same orange I'm using on the trim.
LuminethMage
I’d probably use the blue, but might be a bit too strong. You could do both, to distinguish your units from each other.
Wyliekyote
@ThalmorRepresentative I'd prob go blue as well... to connect it all together. Maybe a darker blue than the cloak? OR you could do a Blue Wash/Contrast (with some Contrast medium in there) to make the recess/design blue and make the red more purple? That is if you want it blue/red/purple....? Looking good tho! And also sharing some WIP's on my Bladelords... Man, I really dig these models! They might not be "competitive" but they'll be on the table for sure in my army. Using the Alt Ymetrica scheme, along with some ideas from the box. And added a kit bash head to the Seneschal (maybe the Red hair is too much?). I'm still working on skin smoothness. But does it look like he's got a 5oclock shadow? And ned to darken his eyes a bit more (or try to paint them... ugh. still hate doing eyes.) And I've included a pic of how I'm painting/sub assembling them for fun. 1

LuminethMage
The spirit of mount Orovelai (Avalenor) is finally done. It’s a great model, and at first I had a lot of fun painting it, but the last 2 weeks or so were a bit of a drag. I finally can start with the new models. 6

Howdyhedberg
Hello master painters! I wanted to share this with you. I guess I'm making fun of my own skills with faces. The look Teclis gives you when you use more than 2 thin coats. First I thought about glowing eyes, but since no one else in the army has it, I felt strange with the idea. So judging eyes it is.
