  1. Welp... big news !!..... Dragons are back?!? YAY. and they are with the ... Stormcast? whaaaa? At least the ones they have previewed. I was really hoping that the LRL would get some of the love as well, but I guess we have too many monsters already? Sigh..... the models do look amazing tho. Might have to add to the pile of shame and build one.
  2. Looking cool dude!! Where are the head and front legs from?
  3. Ohhhh. That sounds great! That model always catches my eye, and tempts me for a conversion.... Pics or it doesn’t exist! 😉
  4. AINT WE ALL! (sorry for yelling... :P) Would there be a way to kit bash the heck out of something to make this? An SE model with the Regent on it?....? mmmmmm
  5. @ThalmorRepresentative I'd prob go blue as well... to connect it all together. Maybe a darker blue than the cloak? OR you could do a Blue Wash/Contrast (with some Contrast medium in there) to make the recess/design blue and make the red more purple? That is if you want it blue/red/purple....? Looking good tho! And also sharing some WIP's on my Bladelords... Man, I really dig these models! They might not be "competitive" but they'll be on the table for sure in my army. Using the Alt Ymetrica scheme, along with some ideas from the box. And added a kit bash head to the Seneschal (maybe the Red hair is too much?). I'm still working on skin smoothness. But does it look like he's got a 5oclock shadow? And ned to darken his eyes a bit more (or try to paint them... ugh. still hate doing eyes.) And I've included a pic of how I'm painting/sub assembling them for fun.
  6. Decided to start some Bladelords, what with how cool they looked in @ThalmorRepresentative's post . And I have to say, the photos don't lie. They look damn cool... Well, the Seneschal does at least, which is where I'm starting. But with a possible conversion. Using a Blood Bowl Wood Elf head, since it's hair is swirling in the right direction. I feel it's tiny wee bit big, but the sculpt is great! Then which pose?! TWO SWORDS: ONE SWORD: I'm leaning Two swords, since his face is yelling like he's about to attack, and this stance is a tad more aggressive. The One sword pose is more focused and "contemplative"?
  7. Dude!!! Thanks for the pics. They do look sweet. The alt poses rock. Considering getting some other heads from Eternal Guard for one set. ‘Cause why not.... I’m getting 10, and I’m prob gonna use them all the time for cool factor. And guarding my wizards. How do they look painting access wise? Would you do any sub-assemblies?
  8. Also! Not sure if I shared this or not but.... experimenting with converting war scrolls to a more portable style (like Sw:Legion if y’all are familiar) printed on regular paper and hope to try out during games. If it works out I’ll try them on card stock.
  9. Well, this list is pretty much what I've been playing. It's fun, not too "complex" (although I totally second the AOS reminders app/site to help out). I only have 10 sentinel, so I toss in my Cathalar, and sometime the Rune of Pet. Of course, this was before the MASSIVE release.... so maybe a Balista or one of the three Scinari (I like the Cathallar's Absorb Despair ability...)? 990LRLList.pdf 1000ptwLoECathStoneMage2Wardens1Dawn1Sentinels.pdf
  10. Always glad to share the wealth... looks like the alternate builds are: for the ballista person either holding the Ballista with both hands or having a bird in one hand. for the guard it’s either spear with both hands, or one head in spirit and pointing at the target nothing crazy but I think fun flexibility
  11. thx for the heads up on Severith @Austin Big Boy Pants at the ready. And opening up some boxes to peruse the instructions and so far there are a few cool alt builds. The Ballista has some, and the bladelords have four for the Seneschal. Which I find very cool!! W or w/I the helmet.... one or two blades.... different fee/leg stance. im thing of combining 6a and 6b if it’ll let me. I did lol a bit when I saw this : where are the HEADS AND ARMS!?! The have an interesting build process. The Flag is the last piece... so maybe you can decide not to use them? And looks like if you want to kitbash their heads in. you can. I might use the other head I have for the Senechal.
  12. Dude!!! So awesome. While not quite as much, I too did a thing... and still waiting on my second set of : Bladelords, windchargers, and ballista. And no Shrine avail here (US) yet. So. Much. To. Paint. 😱🤯😎
  13. @jeanfluflu That is a really nice paint scheme! And while I don't mind the Roo's, your Cho...co... Angry Ostrich style could be fun (reminds me of the old video game Joust?) And YAY!! I've finally finished one of my Sentinel units. Bit of a slog, and only a few (well, more than a few...) broken strings and arrows, or mis-fits. But all is well now that they are done! Now.. what to paint next? My other Wardens? My Hammer Bros? Teclis!?! .... nah.... Or take a break and do some SW:Legion to get ready for the next wave.... IMG_1737.mov
  14. Well, I've found some listings/images of the collected generic CA's, and will try to work them into cards.... but so far so good!! Using the Ultimate Guard card pages I have lying around (eventually I'll switch to the compact version for both Legion and AoS), and playing around with Preview (a basic PDF editor on the Mac) I've managed to use the AoS Shorts cards and print them into the right size!!! These are just B&W plain paper tests, but with a thicker card stock and some color, this might look awesome....A few war scrolls are bigger/"two pages" (The Twins, Lyrior, Sevirith, Dawnriders, LoE, Sentinels, Wardens... yikes)...But the Sentinels turned out OK. Now I can remember the Lightning Reactions! Or Absorb Despair, or Shining Company..! And hopefully not lose because I keep forgetting things...LOL... ...
  15. Dude these are awesome! Thanks! I have the ones from the Army Box. These might be easier to organize/use... and if I can print them small enough, fit in the sleeves! Now.... anyone have "cards" for all the generic command abilities?
