With darkoath being shown early I'm not sure much will be seen. Happy to be wrong but tempering expectations seems a better way to avoid disappointment. Very rarely they meet the hype imo, especially depending on what factions your interested in. I think 3rd edition had some massive delays and they are pumping out everything 3rd edition related to be ready for 4th edition. Darkoath could have been a massive hype any other day. I just feel like they are rushing these last models/ dawnbringer stuff to be done with it. Even if you are not collecting the minis inside the box (which is my case as well, unless there's one particular Stormcast that catches my eye) the big box is always a big hype moment for me. I guess I let myself flow by all the hype it created, and minis aside, it is always a nice moment if you are a lore enthusiast as well. Skaven players have served their time though and the visible excitement (dong?) is understandable. But there is still Warcry and, most importantly, a chance to hear something about the new rules. Really hoping DB 6 does some conclusions to what's going down with my fav lil bog ninjas and the pony. 🤘 It just this initial here and now that's not all too exciting for me. Maybe I will be surprised, never know. I've just never been a get on the hype for hypes sake kinda fan. If it's like last year then the focus is more about announcing what the direction of the new edition will be, like they did with 10th.
