I get the feeling you'll need like a 10 to actually summon the Krondspine, and they let it keep almost the same killing power, but I hope to god that they nuke Teclis's autocast if this is the case. I get the feeling that the Lumineth will abuse this system harder than anyone else if they get to keep near-universal wizards in every unit as well.
There’s no guarantee that it will arrive, or that this is even for a Spider Incarnate. However, losing your entire Manifestation for an Incarnate which presumably will be toned down because it’s free does seem like a good start, and that the Krondspine wasn’t dropped seems like maybe Incarnates will see a new one.
The mapwide heal is a change because currently it grants a battlefield wide 6+ Ward and renders it unable to use its other buff for the rest of the battle. The Charnel Throne will definitely be getting reworked though.
NO! It’s me really, really wanting a Shyish themed Incarnate and it could be any number of things, including a new Endless Spell, a Lightning Gheist, a new Ossiarch thing, or like, 500 other things that I simply haven’t considered yet.
It reminds me a bit of Bonereapers magic where something’s being reshaped, but also a bit of the Krondspine Incarnate. Maybe the Spider Incarnate and it’s made of magical webbing?
I’m assuming it’ll be closer to 40k’s reveals last year because we’re doing Indexes, meaning we see all the warscrolls, the abilities, and assorted thingies, then later we get the points.
Beats Bonereapers too. They’ve got Bonereapers as a novella, End of Enlightenment where they’re the deuteragonists and I think 1 shows up in Children of Teclis too, but doesn’t do much. And they show up in a few short stories but I don’t think ever really as the POV.
Yeah, Tzeentch should be extremely good sorcerers with tricks and debuffs, but they should fold easily in melee too. The Lumineth shouldn’t have what should be Tzeentch’s thing.
Yes, armies have different strengths and weaknesses. That’s something of an inbuilt design choice. It’s also something you need to consider when choosing your battle tactic.
Nothing says you have to use it Turn 1. You can save it for later, and we haven’t seen the rest of the tactics yet either. If anything, RTTR is probably easier to score Turn 2/3 for FS after you’ve gotten into position while Idoneth probably want it Turn 1 if Rite of Creeping Mists sticks around.
