  1. The gondor bundle is brilliant and the modularity is insane. Honestly, it may be pricy but they really are worth it.
  2. I understand that but full units vs 1 character and 1 unit. Just feels a touch wonky that's all.
  3. Prosecutors are nice but so far 3 full stormcast units seen to one skaven... Meh.
  4. The ork one is outstanding though 🤷 As for AoS, the rules we've seen so far don't feel like complete rewrite so much as an evolution. I'm not currently concerned. Anyone else in the same boat?
  5. Drill your trumpets They also look dadbod-tastic, never really seen these before.
  6. I really don't like the parchment on them. That's very much a space marine visual cue for me and I don't like it. The stormcast I've seen so far I genuinely dislike and to date, liked everything from 2.0 and 3.0. the new libs, these from today, hard pass.
  7. I'll take silly over the one dimensional ironjawz. 40k orks have always been brutally ridiculous, it's part of the fun. I wouldn't put much stock in orks for 11th unless it's come via valrak. Fulgrim and friends are well overdue. All that said, I'm intrigued to see more skaven forthcoming. I know it's drip feed but it's been painfully slow.
  8. Why's he wearing chainmail beneath the clothing? Surely that'd chafe-chafe quite badly?
  9. Colin Dixon? When did he pass?! Gutted genuinely didn't know about that. The guy is a legend and I'm sad for his friends and family.
  10. Pyre and flood is priced at whatever you pay for a Kratos tank in your local currency.
  11. That's fair enough, I didn't realise it was an existing rule too. Like/ dislike is fine, however the positive is it gives hope that they've not asset stripped the flavoursome stuff simply for a reroll/ other generic affect. Here's hoping...
  12. In fairness, this is a level of fun and 'flavour' that is fun. Something 40k killed off.
  13. Really surprised at the sacrosanct entire chamber going. Genuinely sorry for those with nuked ranges. I know how I felt when the old world was nuked and this feels very similar.
  14. Lots of armies in 3.0 run 6 heroes in 2000 points, I'd argue it's not really much of a shift.
  15. It's aimed at new folk plus "look new shiny" affect as well. However, I'm not a fan of the libs. For me the sacrosanct in 2.0 were the best stormcast. I appreciate we've seen 1 mini but I really loved the sacrosanct aesthetic.
  16. Do we know which issue number it is for the ardboyz please?
  17. Strange as there's a fair whack of people that'd say mordheim is one of the best rule sets
  18. Personally I love the double turn. Glad it stays. Clearly different views exist but it's staying regardless.
  19. Work, family, university work and the fact I haven't bought a copy yet. Sorry if my schedule doesn't fit everyone else's but it's not much to ask for. It is a rumour thread, not a spoiler thread.
  20. Fair point Gaz to be honest. Being able to just "do your stuff" then let them do "their stuff" is a much easier system. Reactions being brought into heresy was a game changer IMO and it'll be interesting to see what they've done with it for AoS 4.
  21. FFS, thanks for the spoiler... Just because "you know", doesn't mean the rest of us do. Use the spoiler tags in future for the schmucks like me that weren't aware. This is as irritating as when some numpty on twitter spoiled broken realms Teclis. Sorry but this has wound me up. It's just inconsiderate, it really is. In a world that's pretty faecal, toy soldiers and advancing narrative brings some joy. Spoilers like this really aren't fun.
  22. Andy Chambers said in a recent interview that he wished that he'd pushed that through back around 1999. Due to the modern GW aversion to it (specialist games notwithstanding) they're having to try and create mechanics so they don't have to.
  23. I strongly disagree with this based on the volume of content that gets released and stuff that gets amended. I'd play 2nd,.4th or 6th Ed any day over 10th. It's more bland that a Ramsey's kitchen nightmare dinner yet rules lawyer level of wordiness. Combat patrol works but the main game I'm done with. If AoS goes the same way as 10th I'll stick with 3.0.
