The Rumour Thread

That's because BoC always have been the red headed stepchild of Warhammer. GW has always done them dirty. And CA has continued this tradition with their incomplete launch in TWW followed by years of content drought.

I'd be confused if BoC started to get things like warscroll cards. It would be very out of character !

In universe and out of universe they are subject of abuse and neglect, and it's no wonder they are angry! They should head over to Destruction where they'll be nurtured and appreciated! 🐐🔨

And Forgeworld finally releases the K'dai Destroyer!

[SNIP]

I think the story goes that Forge World realised that it didn't actually look like a K'Daai Destroyer and retooled it into Skaarac The Bloodborn.

The version in Total War seems to take some elements of that model and combines them with the look of the Destroyer from the art:

(Though they've made it much bigger, unless that's Lustria's largest Stegadon that it's facing down.)

Spoiler

(5:10)
"I have heard that there's gonna be a brand new Cities of Sigmar box set. - Cities of Sigmar about to get a lot of love in the AoS setting."
-Valrak (paraphrased without commentary)

I know he already said it during a livestream, but now that he's repeating it I am more inclined to believe he might be on to something, although I'm still just expecting Seraphon and maybe a Cities Underworlds Warband.

Valrak claiming the next Kill Team boxset will be Beastmen vs Votann. Supposedly it's one of his 'trusted' sources.

Only mentioning it here because... well, Beastmen (albeit 40k).

I'd love this, especially if it's reintroducing self loathing Emporer worshipping Imperial Beastmen.

This irks me a little. Not just because I recently got into Beasts but giving them new models in 40K before AOS is a bit of a hoof to the teeth.

Nice spot by someone over on Bolter and Chainsword:

No one posted the new Khorne article yet? It doesn't really say, but I guess implied that all the Bloodbound character are GORECHOSEN I guess?

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/03/15/unleash-the-power-of-the-gorechosen-with-a-barbarous-new-blades-of-khorne-battalion/

Really interesting abilities. So 1 drop for Heroes with an extra artefact. So you could have a 2 drops with 6 Heroes and an extra artefact.

Their buffs are easy and simple, but really effective. Run&charge will always be strong, rend is always good and strike-first in a melee army is scary when you can combo all of them to make one of your Gorenchosen hit like a truck.

Btw, what happened in the Battlereport? I've seen a lot of Slaanesh abilities but nothing from Khorne.

Well, it was in advance of a release with two new tomes to sell. So I'm assuming it was a draw, but both factions were OP and totally dominated!

In a roster of such powerful and deadly armies who can really pick an MVP? I mean, wow, the design team really is the best at everything ever and this is the best tomes ever and everyone is the studio is definite starting them. Wow, wow, wowowow. I have pre-ordered 400 boxes. PLASTIC FOR THE PLASTIC GOD! SHAME FOR THE SHAME PILE!

Seriously though, low-key hyped for Slaanesh (again).

When was the last time that FW made something for AoS or 40k? It's been almost exclusively 30k and side games for the longest time.

They've realigned FW as the arm of the company that supports specialist and boxed games.  I believe this was mentioned in a community article a few years ago, but it may have also been through interviews.

Nice find. Any chance this could be for AoS or are we sure this is Killteam?

Well the link was made on a Killteam rumour thread.

Basically Valrak has rumoured that the next Killteam is Squats vs Beastmen. But unknown if this means chaos Beastmen or Imp Beastmen.
