Keltheos
I've seen this idea a few places including on these forums, but here's my take on using reapers for hexwraith bodies. I have disliked the actual bodies since the models first released and am so glad now that I've started the NH army I have models for this unit I like. I used a cairn wraith for the leader. Waiting on basing supplies then on to painting.

christophe
I will do mine with 2 dreadblade harrows sets, parts of the 4 soulwar boxes' reapers and a wingless reikenor as a boss. I want one hand holding the reins of the horse. I will change the horses leg so they all look different. I could be looking at the black coach horses as well if I want to expend the unit size.
Keltheos
Chrisophe, that sounds amazing! I went with fast and easy on these, but down the road if I do another unit or I have the time and patience I may try to track down a reiknor as well. Can't wait to see how they look! Hartmannistic
Keltheos I really loved your Hexwraiths! So much in fact I used them as a template for my own hexwraiths However I'm really like the new fleshier nighthaunt horses, so I got my hands on a few of the sprues from the Blackcoach and trimmed away the wagon harnesses and stuff, soon I'll have a unit of 5 ready. I still need to do put them on some decent bases, and there is a bit of green stuff work to be done here and there, but overall I'm pretty happy with them hanks for the inspiration! Keltheos
@JackStreicher and @Hartmannistic those look GREAT!! The black coach horses are amazing looking, what a cool find to get them as bits. The Bladegheists on the horses also look great, I had converted mine before they were released, but I love the Harrows and the Gheists look like mini Harrows! I've been sidetracked with other minis projects, but hope to be finished with them soon and get back to painting all this stuff up.
Kirjava13
Holy hell, those look good. I would love to make my own that look like that- must be so expensive! ?
Wraith01
I have a unit of HexWraiths I haven't built because I really don't like their look, they don't fit in, prefer them as Black Knights... All of these you guys posted look amazing! Great work.

Mirbeau
Nice job all, painting up the official kit atm and all these look so much less awkward.
Vasshpit
Here are mine so far. They're almost ready for paint. Just a bit more cleaning up. I picked up a couple Lord Executioner cheap on the bay of E and used the spirit heads to help retain the fiery theme. Im really pleased and look forward to the end result.

Vasshpit
If your asking me, @Ragnar Alpaca, they're the Dreadblade Harrow spooky steeds.

Shroud Of Night
Lots of good ideas and work here. Really great job jazzing up a somewhat bland kit (Hexwraiths).
ManlyMuppet88
Some really awesome stuff here. I wasn’t going to do any Hexwraiths in my Nighthaunt because of the old, out of place models but I’m keen to give some of these conversions a go instead. Tamachan
Really great conversions here. I have to say I dislike the Hexwraith models as well. I was thinking to simply build the Black Knights and paint them in my Nighthaunt scheme. Do you have any thoughts on this or did anyone do this before?
