  1. They indicated that the one you use is the one available from their webstore. Which is identical to the 2017 GHB. There's no way around how badly GW's screwed KO, sorry.
  2. The straight line part gets confusing as it is a straight line to a point, but unless your models are in a conga, that will make them shift their position at an angle relative to each other as they converge towards said point
  3. It is literally all nerfs. Yeah they sure are looking out for KO
  4. I would just like to point out. The forge world exalted greater demon of khorne is a greater demon of khorne. You can summon it.
  5. It'll depend specifically on how understrength regiments specifically work in this new edition. Plaguetouched warbands bouncing mortal wounds back at enemies is a REALLY strong ability (especially with some combos you can pull off) but the wording of understrength regiments can be a bit confusing if you take all the various rules for building a unit. Reading through the command abilities you guys get, the glottkin's reads like you can't make it fire off multiple times to stack it (but maybe you can), but the GUO it reads like you could fire it off four times and add 4 attacks per weapon to, say, bloat drones. Since AoS 2.0 doesn't seem to have a limit for stacking the same command ability over and over. Matt converted pox walkers (the 40k nurgle zombies) into marauders. It looks pretty neat.
  6. I do wish other order armies got some love. All stormcast all the time gets a bit... bothersome
  7. The profile is in line with dwarf models. It has the cloak and the armored chainmail down to his legs. And if it's a dwarf warlord, then super fancy horns would not be out of place. Some of the dwarf lord models had some wild antlers and such
  8. It's really got the profile of a cloaked dwarf, if you know the old dwarf models.
  9. it's a dwarf. I am 90 percent sure it is a dwarf and will be the order champion
  10. 40k will always have the focus because 40k always sells. better. People seem to dig the sci fantasy more than just fantasy,
  11. Ultimately, it comes down to sales. Sace marines are as they are because they sell fantastically well. Stormcast are the way they are because space marines sell fantastically well. If stormcast don't do space marine numbers though, they won't remain graced forever.
  12. I have in my head the basics of every single 40k army, I know what's good when people put models on the board and I know generally the way a game will go before set up ends. I am playing AoS right now because I don't have that game solved for lack of a better term. 40k is not hard to keep in your head at all. The only thing that makes AoS less strategic really is priority. It's fruitless to plan around a double turn since you never know if you're going to get it and if you assume your opponent will get it, you have to play far to conservatively to win a game. Otherwise, they're roughly equally difficult. Indeed, for AoS I see more unit diversity than I do for 40k, as lists are easier to build out of mono allegiance in sigmar and list building is radically less strict.
  13. 40k lacks priority, and of all the rules, priority is the biggest uff in AoS IMHO. That said, 40k has its own idiosyncrasies, as the shooting nature of the game combined with first turn often ends with an insurmountable lead for one side unless your list is built around deferred deployments. I don't think AoS has nearly the same issues of a shooting emphasis. But then again, Disciples of tzeentch are still a thing. But there's not really a good way to play around the double turn, or plan for using it as opposed to playing around going second, and so many sigmar armies already have those tools to ensure a less devastating first turn.
  14. I personally thought, originally, that GW was going to try and duel release things. Death Guard drops for 40k, Rotbringers drop for AoS. But it's been a couple months now with no word on Nurgle.
  15. I think AoS is on the backburner at the moment with just a drip feed to keep it in people's minds. Right now GW is pushing 40k and it's specialist games collection (shadespire, bloodbowl, and necromunda are all getting fairly consistent support at the moment). I suspect that AoS will remain simmering until mid to late spring 2018.
  16. disposessed don't really have a place. They have good chaff and okay shooting, but their shooting is all short range and their chaff are all very slow. Unless you are intending to keep your entire army in the very slow movement of the dawi, they would really hold you back.
