Hit the like cap again.

Probably nice to use the starter set rather than dropping the undercosted Bastiladon on him first game.
That said, I took a Ghoul King on Zombie Dragon for a starter game yesterday (admittedly the rest of the army was just Ghouls) against a non-teleporting Stormcast 1,000 list - still pretty strong.

That looks amazing. A true wrecking ball!

Get an Exalted Seeker Chariot unit - not helpful for Nurgle I know. It's nice to know that Slannesh have one good thing going for them.
-
You would think they would, but with no strong synergies they just wouldn't. Compare their output to that of 30 whipped Bloodletters (300 points) with +1 to hit from the Command Trait and (just) one Bloodsecrator giving them an extra attack.

Yeah - Slaves to Darkness units (and heroes) are really underwhelming. They are vaguely tough, but not as tough as Liberators plus Paladins for example.

Yeah - there's a sizeable advantage in fielding battleline units that can shoot as these can sit on objectives in your territory and still contribute meaningfully to combat (bad news for Death and Destruction - I'm not counting Night Goblin bowmen - that's attempting to shoot and messing it up).

They really should just allow all Beastmen to take any god keyword. It's not like they're a strong army....

You're right that they aren't mortal.
However many key Khorne buffs do bite on anything which is "Khorne", e.g. Bloodstoker and Bloodsecrator. I was inches away from making a list like this. However, the GH has butchered this (a) it's not in the book because it's a campaign warscroll; and (b) the rule of one cuts in half the damage from the exploding attacks from the Bullgors (unlike in SCGT where these rules are well balanced).

Ultimate chaff destroyer!

Looking good.

Unless the deployment zones are more than 24 inches apart, the extra range on summoning is largely irrelevant. The 9 inch rule will be the main constraint.

Looks like a very interesting list.
I'd go for the Lord of Bones Command Ability anyday. I don't see the extra range as a big deal unless you're pairing Arkhan with Mannfred to buff the range of his spell (and double casting it) or possibly Hand of Dust - double cast (but then you'd be foregoing Nagash's command ability).
First game with Fyreslayers

I'm thinking about adding some Fyreslayers to a mixed Order list. Just need some Ward saves to counter the mortal wound spam elsewhere.
