Finally got my Aether war and lovying assembling the models! I'm a bit unsure on what to get after it, could some give me some advice on which lists looks better? Option 1 (Frigate Escort Wing, Zilfin and Nar woul be possible too) Option 2 (Ironclad "Deathstar", Nar possible too) Option 3 (Ironclad + bodies, everything except Urbaz to give the Ironclad the Endrinwork) I'm having a hard time comparing the lists, not sure if the 3 option has enought fire power or if the 1 and 2 have too much firepower and not enought bodies...

Yeah, I agrre on the wounds/bodies problem. Would just one unity of boars be useful as icebones? I could drop the 4 Stabbas + a Wardokk for 20 Arrowboys, but then I would loose a good damaging unity. That would be great, my problem is that I don't have the points for this (I forgot to mention we play mostly 1.5k lists, never saw a 2k game around here). That was the play style I was looking for, but I wonder if it's possible with less points

Could someone give me some opinions on the following list? I got a box of Savage orruks for warcry and I was considering expanding them to a full army. I'm a little unsure about the amount of boars (tried to get 2 unities to get some use of the icebone command ability), would 2 unities of 10 maniaks + 4 big stabbas be a good enought hammer? Could this point toa dual box for warcry with the Fyreslayers vs the Scions of the flame? Could be a form to expand warcry beyond the eightpoints

Anyone tryed using a Ironclad in less than 2k lists? I'm planning to get a Frigate/Ironclad next month but I'm not sure which one would be better. I'm still deciding my final list, the Ironclad looks powerful, but around here we never play more then 1500 points game and at that range the Ironclad is even more expensive pointwise (1/3 of the army!)...

Not super clear, but by what he read at the start of the allegiances section seens like those work as subfactions for Nurgle allegiance, so you still get the circle, summonig and other things. The Daemons ones looks pretty good, the mortal ones not so much. Wished they didnt give the same ability for both of them

@NauticalSoup thanks for the round up of the options! So many good options that its hard to choose from them. I wanted to fit a idol in, but at 1.5k it leaves to little space for the bodies (after you discount the almost 500 points for spend on heroes). I put the brutes in a 10 unity to better recieve the warchanter buff, but with ardboys I doubt they would recieve it... I thought about getting a start collect, but would just 10 ardboys and 3 gore grutas be enought? @DestructionFranz Thanks for the advice! Would 30 orruks with lances be better than a 30 Archer unities? The potential to get them to 3+ save is tempting as is giving them extra move. Do you think a 15 models unity of ardboys would work too? Its easier to get 15 them 20 and it would leave 150 points for another unity (no ideia which one).

Hi Everyone! I was lucky enought to come across a really good deal on some second hand ironjawz last month, but I'm having a hard time expanding them to a full Big waaagh list. Around here everyone plays games at the 1.500 points level. I believe I could start with the following unities: Other than that I have a Weirnob Shaman, a Wardokk and 10 Savage orruks/arrowboys/morboys (didn't finish building them yet, leftovers from the warband I've built for warcry). Do anyone have any advice on which unities I could add to the above list for a good/ok-ish 1.5k list? I'm also open to other configurations, i'm mostly trying to use what I alredy have (that why i have 10 brutes on the list).

Thanks for the awesome work! Some of my friends started in AoS last month and we are thinking in start a Path to Glory campaing to get them used to the game and while they build/buy their army. Your system looks much more balanced, so we will try to use it for the campaing. Do you thing it would be possible to used named heroes as a starting champion? One of my friends started with a Nighthaunt battleforce and will want to use Kurdoss some how... Maybe setting his starting followers to 1 or 2?

I'm having a hard time finding a keeper around here for my list, so I wanted to ask, anyone had any success without running one? After the change on the Locus having one seens even more important ... Any advise on how to proceed with a list building if i'm unable to get one in the near future?

The horrors warscrolls changed and the app isn't actualized with the new warscrolls yet. They don't generate points anymore, simple summons 2 blues

That's a good point! I could summon the 20 dryads with her (the revenants not yet, don't have enought of them...), I hope the branchwraith fullfil this job, but I have the option if necessary. My main doubt is if she brings enought to the list for the 400 points she cost. I'm not sure if I have enought multi-wounds unities to use her healing well, her command ability is nice (especially with the sword hunters) and the 3 spells + throne of vines looks good to try to get our endless spells on the board. She surelly brings a lot of utility to the list, but I don't know if the list needs more utility or the extra punch that a drycha/durthu (+ a wych or revenants with the spare points) would be better.

Does anyone have some experience using Alarielle in less than 2k points lists? Around here everyone plays at the 1.5k range (with just 2 battleline) and I'm tempted to get one after the points drops. I was thinking in trying something like this: I would use her to summon another unity of 3 Hunters with swords. Is she worthy at this point range or would be better to use those 600 points on more bodies?

Thanks for the advices! I guess that I can always use the points to bring back dead unities in the beggining (which is good for my wallet 😆)

Hi Everyone! I recently got a slaanesh start collecting box as a prize in a painting competition and was thinking about using it to start my second army, but I'm kind lost in what I should get. We don't play 2k points game often around here, mostly game are at the 1500 points range. Would a lista like this work? The list is simple a start collecting + half of the wrath&rapture + a keeper and a epitome. I don't have mostly of the models, so I'm open to any sugestions to make it better (model/host/spells/artifacts wise, the unique thing I don't thing i can get soon would be a second keeper). A last question, what extra unities would be good to get for summoing after I finish the main list?
