  1. The Thondia book looks interesting. Anything Ghur flavoured I'm all in for, so having some more back story to flesh the realm out is very welcome. The Incarnate looks like a cool concept and is timed well as I've almost finished the FW version. Updated Path to Glory rules is welcome, the previous ones were perfect for inspiring all sorts of weird and wonderful conversions. Nighthaunt seem to have broken the trend of book+hero, with some very nice looking new units. Not my army, but very happy for the Nighthaunt players. As someone who has been waiting for the HH preview, I was hoping they'd show off more of the box set, but it's good to know it's finally on it's way. I'll be checking the bits sites once that Chaos Knight is released as a great source of vultures to go with my Orruks...
  2. Rippa Snarlfangs are some great sculpts, it's a shame we never got to see a proper wolf rider unit based on that look. Darkoath are slowly getting there between WHU and Warcray releases, but would like to see more (War Mammoth, etc)
  3. I'd love it to be updated for AoS 3, it was perfect for people kitbashing their own heroes. It reminded me of the old Fantasy rules where heroes were much more customisable.
  4. I cannot remember the name, but have some of the steel framed Ikea display cases:
  5. It would be worth remembering that a lot of the same arguments and reactions are raised every time GW increase their prices. If you've been in the hobby for a long time, you'll have seen price increases many times and the same things said every time, about how this will kill the hobby, it'll put new people off, drive people to 3rd party, etc. Considering GW has never cost as much as it does now, the fact that they just had the best year of sales they've ever had, should show that those arguments were false then and there is little evidence that they will turn out to be true this time.
  6. Not great news, but not unexpected either to be honest. I was speaking to a restaurant owner yesterday who said his raw ingredient costs had gone up by 40% over the last couple of months and he's stuck in the position of deciding to pass those costs on or not. We have almost a month of notice which is at least something.
  7. I love this! No interest in BB for now, but I want to paint that up. If GW released a unit of those for AoS, I'd be tempted into starting a small Mawtribes force for sure.
  8. Happy for all the eldar players, the range refresh is really shaping up to be great. Ka’Bandha is an amazing looking figure and as it looks like he's on a knight sized base, he's huge. I'll need to remove the marine and the other bits he's standing on, but will make a perfect Daemon to my fledgling chaos forces. Less stuff for AoS directly, but I do like those crossbow ghosts. They would make a nice small project.
  9. A big box of 30k goodness. Oh you mean for AoS? Then I think an overview of the Fyreslaer and Idoneth books, possibly a look at the new Nighthaunt thingy.
  10. I picked the Mozrog kit up to see what I can use it for. I have no interest in 40k, but the Beastsnaggas are such nice kits, I've got to find a way to mix them into my Ironjawz. They make me wish that they'd bring back the more generic Greenskins in this style.
  11. Great work on the squig riders! I still need to get round to painting my beastsnagga boyz, plus I do have some other ideas I'm working on.
  12. I know it won't be, but I'm getting strong Zhufor vibes from that terminator.
  13. A new chaos sorceror sculpt will be welcome. Alternative sculpts, especially for smaller heroes means being able to take more than 1 in a list without having duplicates. One of the reasons Underworlds is good, even if you don't play the game is the alternate sculpts.
  14. I've just had Bawla and Burk arrive and I was thinking, if GW say he can be used in game as a Brute Boss, having the same rules but on a 50mm base, does this mean the official base size for a brute boss can now be 40mm or 50mm? If so it opens up chances to kitbash other Brute Bosses on larger (eg, more heroic) bases?
  15. Happy New Year. Thanks to all those that keep this little corner of the internet running smoothly.
  16. Great work, thanks for the step by step on this.
  17. Great idea! I know it's a controversial choice, but Kragnos is my favourite release this year. Amazing mini, fun to paint and his background was a great window into the Age of Myth Plus his shield has his own image on it! Other contenders would be the Killaboss on Corpse-rippa Vulcha and Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos, but I've been too slow to get them painted up yet. For my own little project of the year, I'm most happy with my shaman for my Ironjawz, Zugrot Felspore.
  18. What a great surprise, I love it! I'll need at least 2.
  19. They also seem to be not the most beginner friendly to paint. Lots of fiddling detail on most of them and designed in ways that mean lots of hard to reach areas under cloaks, etc In my opinion, other starter set armies like Marines, Stormcast, Necrons, Nighthaunt, have been much more friendly to a new player / novice painter.
  20. If Squats do make a comback (outside of Necromunda) will the phrase squatted have to be changed?
  21. Am I out of the loop, or are those drakes on a new style flying stand?
  22. Most of the businesses i've heard from have said that the world shipping/supply issues will carry on well into 2022. I think this is just further proof of that and everyone needs to be a bit more understanding when it comes to timings of releases.
  23. That is the only disappointment for me. Looking forward to nurgle and the Darkoath side of the Warcry box myself. The confirmation of previous rumours does help us work out what else is to come in the new year.
  24. Classic style barbarians are really cool. The sorcerer holding an eye is the cherry on top though.
