I have decided not to start FEC as I originally intended and am going full on Skaven so Id like to trade my Carrion empire FEC Half for a Carrion Empire Skaven half. I am in London, UK and want to keep it UK only to save on postage. I am fine with meeting locally (or Darksphere/barhammer) if you also live in London. EDIT: I also have 3 Crypt Horrors/Flayers + 10 Ghouls from the Start Collecting box (+Warscroll Battalion rules sheet) that I can trade along with this if you have any more Skaven or Seraphon/LoN

So I was thinking about picking up another Carrion Empire box to add to what I have. I will be able to make this list and it will use exactly all of my Skryre models. Is it any good? Im am thinking of picking up a Pestilence Start Collecting box to run this 1000pt list. It will get me a Grey Seer, WLC and potentially 10 Acolytes. Arch-Warlock (160) Grey Seer (120) - General 3 x Stormfiends (260) 10 x Skryre Acolytes (120) (will convert from Plague Monks) Doomwheel (160) Warp Lightning Cannon (180) TOTAL: 1000 eventually I will use my Clawlord + x20 Stormvermin and buy x40 Clan Rats but for now I was thinking of trying out a Skryre army. Wow, well this is exciting! Any point in getting Carrion empire vs more Start Collecting boxes (more dragons)? If I am to start a FEC army now would it be better to go x2 FEC SC or 1 FEC SC and Carrion Empire?

Wow that is so cool, seems like there are a lot of options, it is a bit overwhelming for a newcomer but I will eventually get it! The plan atm is getting the FEC Start Collecting box for me (and eventually the Carrion Empire box) and a Skeleton Horde OR Malignant Start Collecting box for her (she wants both...) After a few plays with those boxes I think I will understand what we will want to do. My main starting army is Skaven (friend sold me his 1000pt army) so the FEC SC is just a side thing, figured Id get it because the Carrion Empire will benefit both armies but I am REALLY looking forward to FEC (and super happy the Skel army will benefit from it while im playing Skaven). EDIT: I think I might keep the sameish colour scheme as her and magnetise the head + rider on so we can both use the Terrorgheist/Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon and the same thing with the Vargheists. (not now but futureproofing) I think this will be the best value for us

Thanks, I am new to AoS so Im not sure I understand what you mean by "unless she plays it Grand Alliance Death". Does this mean she uses a different set of rules instead of the separate FEC/Skeleton rules? If so, does she miss out on a lot? You say "recommended" so I guess its viable enough. Im sure all of this will start making sense when I start to get into it more.

I have just bought a Start Collecting FEC box! Really excited! I will also be buying Carrion Empire when it comes out and I was wondering what would be better to buy additionaly to x1 SC FEC box + Carrior empire? Another SC box (£40) OR a Nightfeast Hunters box (£34 I found a shop that still has some in stock) I am not looking for a super competitive team, just something fun to play with friends. EDIT: I do not plan to go over 1500 points (anytime soon) EDIT2: Also....my girlfriend really wants to get a Skeleton Start Collecting box, would she be able to use my FEC army to her advantage somehow? (just playing with friends)

I trying to get into AoS and my friend is generous enough to offer me his 1000pt for £40 but I wanted to know a few things first. He said they are from Fantasy and are a mix of Clan Verminus and Clan Skyre and consists of a "vermin Lord boosting 2 stormvermin units, one arch warlock engineer, 3 stormfiends and one doomwheel." Will these work well in AoS? Or should I get something a little more current?
