Since the last MP story I started looking for info about the Skaven and while I have the old skaven vs HE box from WFB I'm not a very fan of those models but I ended up liking Skyre a lot so once I have paint all my new stormcast and IJ I plan to start with Skyre. I'm looking to make a 2k pts list but not really competitive (my local group is very friendly, we usually play narrative ) and I really like the doomwheel model, how is that unit in the tabletop? I'm thinking of usin Stormfiends, Arch-warlock and some cannons (maybe use the mortar since it came with the old WFB box)

They are there becouse...I need those riders to take points early (?) Firestorm cities are legal in matched play (unless you have an TO who doesn't like them but same goes with anything in this game) so if someone is thinking about making an GA Order List I always recommend giving this cities a try since GA Order ability is a little lackluster. In greywater's case I think that Ordinator as a general is a must, grewater's ability + Ordinator's command could make your cannons shoot 3 times in one turn (ouch), even the steamtank can take advantage of that! Free Peoples give you the meatshield you need and wood elves the speed to take points or even magic (but who needs magic when you have 4 pieces or artillery on the table to shoot those silly mages?)

FW new pdf up! Dread Saurian is up in points but now summoneable for 40 celestial points.

Lorewise I believe chaos SC is not possible (something about the reforging taking anything that could provoke that irc), the picture looks like a mad/berserker like SC wich may be just a product of what's happening with the reforging after the necroquake and the Souls Wars novel.

I just hope that " touch of darkness to the Stormcast" is not something big that makes a change on the amy's narrative. I like the "good guys hiting chaos power metal" style more than some "good guys but with this part of darkness becouse we need that becouse...reasons"

Irc the medium AoS's starter box (the one that comes without the Celestant) comes with something like that, a paper mat and the box itself is used as scenery. GW could do the same but it looks like they do it with the medium boxes (40k did the same)

What about a +1 hit or -1 rend to the unit that charged? You can already hit first if you carged, you charge in your turn and you choose first what unit activates in combat in your turn, of course this only affects one of your units but making all charging units attack first could make that you have less choices in your own turn just becouse you carged. Giving you a +1 on hit or rend to representate the impact of a unit charging another could be cool (I know that it could make some units super brutes if they have rend in the warscroll, it's just an example) and could give us another rule where if you declare that one unit is prepared agaisnt charges (maybe if it didn't move this turn or something) it could cancel the bonus of any charge agaisnt it or give you another bonus like +1 save. There are more options for change charges aside of "just attack fist if you charged" Pd: I'm fine with Charge goes first, it makes sense, just giving some ideas about other options.

They should do a big ass feet for the weirdnob spell too IMO

"Can Finally post it" can be more about "Now that I painted I can finally post it", I do that a lot. I'm all for a Colossal Squig in plastic but it can be just a person who finally painted the WF on and can show it finished (and we are just over hyping it and seeing things where there are none). FW don't has full painted kits on the item's gallery (not in all of them at least), she could even be painting it for that, explaining the "when he is up on the webstore" thing

Any information about what's in the box? Units with all the options or incompletes and without the special weapons again?

Yup, I have no problem if the rules goes from 4 pag to...10-20 but more could be bad for me, the 4 pages rules and free warscrolls is what make me enter in AoS
