It is a new tool just as any other, but it speeds up some color blocking very nicely!
It does! I'm gonna try for 2/3 armies this year.

Things have lept forward (racing to get ready for Blood and Glory has helped!).
There's loads I still want to do but they're very much tournament ready. Can't wait!

Done! Sort of, just in time to pack for Blood and Glory. Can't wait! Used the mice and the diver to make myself some objective markers.

I recently bought a decent airbrush. It's great for blasting through base coating. I can't wait to start a new army now so I can give the brush a proper run out.

@hobgoblinclub I agree with this! I have been looking for random models to fit each base. I think that I might take the Dark Elf Sorceress that I have in the blog and put her on the big skull one. I also like the Chaos Star one for the free Slaughter Priest that came on the front of the White Dwarf. I am also in the process of rebasing my Frost Heart Pheonix models and I have a random assassin model on there that should suit one of the bases.
Yeah, it works if you've got a bit of collection. There's so many different base sizes of the different factions these days that it makes sets like this difficult to use.

Nice looking minis!
I can't help but think that the wierd mix of themes in the base will mean it could take years to get them all used up though.

Looks great! I'd love to know what your colors and procedure were. I'm planning on putting Khorne on hold (incurring his rage, no doubt) to start up Skaven. I use Reaper paints, but I have the approximations.
I'm keeping it simple and sticking with the recommended GW recipes. I've got the chart I've attached here on my wall for reference. The blue is the one that starts with The Fang, Nuln Oil, etc. Their fur starts with Mournfang, Agrax etc.
For most colours I've been applying another light layer of the base colour after washing, before the layer colours. It just makes things look a bit smoother.
To be honest, I've switched to a more traditional red for the cloth. Half thinking about painting duardin next using the Fang recipe prominently and didn't want the armies to look too similar.

Thanks very much!

I love that table. Where is the gaming mat from?

Weird thing about beastmen in AoS. You'd expect them to play as a brutal, mindless charge across the battlefield, and they sort of do. Only, there's so many buffs to keep track of they're one of the more complex AoS forces I'm yet to play.

Khorne is for kids.

@Ben @Chinhampster I've reposted the photos. Working now?
-
So the photos in this post worked fine? Strange. Maybe I'll upload them again.
-
Hmn. They work for me on my laptop and phone. @Chinhampster I'm assuming you can see them?

It seems waaaayy too long! I'm watching it every day, with desperate eyes. After we get back from Warhammer Fest it should be done other than the windows. Nearly there!

I am exceptionally jealous of your shed.
It is a lifelong dream.

We had a metal framed one and a crazy amount of glass. We just let someone come and take at the end of last year. ?
-
Yeah, that shot with Finn makes it look massive. I just want it done!

Yeah it's huge but you want to be able to have 4 tables setup at once. Our gaming group has gotten that big!
I really need a greenhouse Ben, if you're getting rid how much for postage?I just gave greenhouse away!

The Blood Shed was the name of the old one. After failing to think of a new name I'm sticking with it. Daubing 'Blood Shed' over the walls in red paint was discuss, and decided against.
-
A wood burning stove would be a real treat. Not the best plan for drunken game nights though. Also, space is at a premium for me, even with this beast of a shed.

Wow! Sounds pretty fancy! I had to shift a couple of greenhouses too. Nothing gets in the way of the Blood Shed.
We mentioned underfloor heating yesterday. It'll be something for the future I think, or the next build...

I'm not skilled at all. The guy in the doorway on the second photo is a mate who's doing it all on his own. I'd never seen anything he's done so it was a totally gamble when he said he was capable, but he swore he could do the biz. It's paying off a treat so far. Couldn't fault it.
The office half of the shed in your link looks really snug and warm. I've been spoiled recently because all of my hobby stuff has been in the spare room. Really hope this new place retains some heat. It should do, as we're insulating the whole thing.

Cheers Steve. They got some love over the weekend.
I only realised after our game that we forgot to stick the rest of my characters in the trap!
