  4. Wide shot of all my Ogors I have assembled for army to take to Clash of Swords 2016
  5. What happens if it is 40K or Horus Heresy Tzeentch? #handgrenadethrow
  6. I think a lot of stuff gets mistaken for other stuff. I remember before the End Times came out, we had rumours about a Chaos Lord on a Dragon and a new plastic Great Unclean One aka Archaon and The Glottkin. I think part of the issue with these sorts of rumours is that even though they are from a 'trusted' source, we don't know how much of it is hearsay from somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody or how much is a bit of fun from the guys in the Studio. Personally with the recent amazing stuff from GW via Facebook and Youtube, I'm more happy to wait for the cool teasers and pictures that way than a bit of fishwife gossip. A cool example was the recent leak about a 30K release which the GW guys blew out of the water with dropping Kharn!
  7. You foul temptress! I really think you are doing yourself a dis-service with what you have achieved. Seriously, if I had 15 hours I would not be able to do anything to the same quality that you have.
  8. Gah I've got to stop reading this thread as it's making me want an Ironjaw Army! Lovely army Chris. Seriously, I don't know how you are able to knock out something of this quality in the timescales you subjected yourself to. I know I can paint things quickly but it's nowhere near the lovelyness you do!
  9. I'm going to have to say it now - I equally love and hate this thread. I love it because it's inspiring to see somebody doing a great job with the fantastic miniatures that GW have produced, but also showing that the force does have some teeth (or teef ) now we have all digested the warscrolls and battalions. I hate it because it has me rethinking about my Clash army and trying to work out if I can knock out a Ironjaw list (although I am equally tempted with a Duardin force just to annoy Mo)
  10. I would say wishlisting as I think 40K is going to get some love with some Deathwatch Marines and a new boxed set and then backed up with what I see as the 40K End of Times stuff to gear people up for the next edition
  11. Games Workshop have recently released some FAQs to try and help out with any common questions players may have about the game or the Alliances. Please see the link below: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Rules-Errata#AoS-errata IMPORTANT BIT You may be wondering if these are offical or if you have to use them. Please consider the first question from the Age of Sigmar Rules FAQ.... Q - Is an FAQ required when you can discuss things with your opponent before a game? A - Players should always feel free to discuss the rules before a game, and change things as they see fit if they both want to do so, whatever the printed rules and FAQ may say so. The rules and FAQ simply provide a 'default setting' for your games.
  12. Only for the Horus Heresy Forgeworld dice. I strongly suspect these dice will have the symbols as ones
  13. I suspect it's when things when to print. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a formula they will release for working out things or a list of additional things which will be coming out, as frankly the book will be out of date by this time next year unless GW don't release any new models
  14. Yes you can From what I can see, I quite like these. Alarielle looks like a cool model and I think will be a conversionists heaven as it looks like there will be so many cool bits from it. Rest of the stuff looks cool as well
  15. I agree with all of this. Until we've seen the book and used it in anger, no point getting wound up about it I can see why people are getting wound up but again, this is just one way of playing and you can always tweak it to what you want to use
  16. Even if they aren't, nothing stopping FW releasing a list for their models (I suspect this is what will happen)
  17. Nope. I suspect we will see the Generals Handbook first and then the Sylvaneth as they tie in more with the Campaign
  18. Is this going to be the same format as last couple of years with extra stuff going on after the 'day' stuff? Asking as I'm more likely to get a "Get out of Jail" card if I can travel both days rather than staying over.
  19. So like an army builder? Makes you wonder why they are moaning! I'm really looking forward to the sylvaneth release as still not gotten round to starting an 'pure' Age of Sigmar army and this one sounds quite cool and quite a bit away from the roots of what was the Wood Elves
  20. What's interesting about that list of rumoured releases is no mention of the General's Handbook!
  21. Some nice and simple rules (which I pinched off The Warhammer Forum - Thanks Bugman!) Selling Decent photos with full descriptions are best. Don't hide faults, be honest and don't be over generous with your wording. Short and simple. Use PayPal. It's safer and fairer for everyone. Cash in hand is another good way to do business but not if goods are'nt there to swap. Don't be offended if the money is not gifted, see below for why Weigh your items including packaging Send via a trackable courier. Royal Mail recorded delivery is okay for small items but if it gets lost, you will only get the cost back of the sale. Eg sell a tact squad for a £5 and RM loose it, you only get a £5 back Sending via a trackable courier means that a trackable code is given and you get some insurance, more can be brought Upload the tracking number to PayPal. Failure to do this can mean Paypal disputes go against you even if you can later show it tracking wrap your minis well. Bubble wrap is good with lots of balls of paper in a strong box. Remember the YouTube clip where a box falls off a lorry and gets run over before being picked up, that could be your box. Remember under PayPal, you are responsible for the package until it arrives at the persons house. take pictures as you pack. Everyone has a digital Camera somehow and can easily delete when package arrives Some websites Bugman has used are: http://www.royalmail.com - Single small packs and miniatures sent via 2nd class recorded. Don't pay more then £4 because.... http://www.collectplus.co.uk - £4 for a tracked 2kg parcel with £50 insurance that I can drop off at my local spar shop (Check on the website for your local particpating shop, it may be a newsagents, sparcet al) and get delivered by yodel? Very quick and my favourite choice by far. Will do up to 10kg for £8 but check your box sizing. http://www.interparcel.com - Send it via their "interparcel" choice and at present that means being picked up by UPS with tracking and insurance. Since it goes via UPs even internationally it will be delivered by UPS in a foreign country. http://www.parcelmonkey.con - Used a few times with various couriers and there Customer service is good. Trackable and insured. From the above two, I always use a proper courier (UPS is my voice) Myhermes may be cheaper but I have seen a few go missing in their system Nightlife has suggested: http://www.p4d.co.uk/ ,similar to parcel monkey above Examples of real life posting : 40K large rulebook. Weighs a ton and I said it would cost only £3 via 1st class recorded. Silly me. Royal Mail wanted over £8 but collectplus did it for £4 High Elf Army to Spain - Too big for Royal Mail and tracked and insured by Parcel force for £45, and that's sent via Spain's notoriously slow PO. Interparcel a UPS service did it for £12 and it was delivered in 4 days and tracked all the way Ogre Army UK - Too heavy for RM and parcelforce wanted £40. Didn't know about interparcel or collectplus but this was sent via citylink using parcelmonkey for around £23 with £500 insurance (upgrade). Was able to drop it off at the local citylink depot. Buying Make sure you know what you're getting and how's it's getting to you. Don't be afraid to ask for more pictures Check feedback for that person. If they only have a few feedback a and/or a low post count, doesn't mean it's bad but there is a red flag waving Send via PayPal, not cheque or cash or moneygram DO NOT GIFT - why? If it falls through, PayPal can't refund your money. Having said that, there are several people whom I have traded with and after the initial few times, I now gift, because I know them, otherwise forget it. Make sure when sending the money you say what it's for and what postage, you want it recorded with the number and make sure it's insured Upon arrival, if the box is dented or broken, make sure it's noted in the signature and accepted under protest as damaged, or just refuse the package check the package ASAP, leaving it for a few days seriously reduces any chance of an insurance claim I also want to mention that these aren't my tips but taken from The Warhammer Forum and user Bugman (who is owner of the Dwarf forum Bugmans Brewery). I also want to say that The Grand Alliance Community, does not take responsibility for anything sold on here. Make sure you have done your homework and followed the tips to help you not get into trouble

  23. I'm trying to wangle a pass out for this one as Warhammer World is sort of local (well and hour drive). Also great way of keeping me on track for an event I'm going to later this year and not leaving my painting to the last minute!
  24. I'm really excited about the Silver Tower as I love Warhammer Quest and chance to see a revamped version with cool new models would be brilliant! Now will GW fit in some references to a certain early 90's game show.....
