Its called mathhammer and maths is math and never lie Every unit have a point cost for damage done and efective wounds and a unit with the 8,8 damage and efective wounds of this stormcast unit must cost as i said 140\150 haters can say random nmbers but the math is absolute and dont lie even if gw usually ignore it(as pink horrors or almost every seraphon unit)

They have only 9 wounds and do the same damage than every other elite unit(as blackguard,hammerers,etc) that cost 120\140 They gonna cost 140\150 or they gonna be useless

Starting to slowly build my vampire army

I just build the wigth king on mount from the start collecting and i found the instructions are wrong. The chest is supposed to be glued after glue the horse,but the torso wont go in with the horse glued. So it is needed glue the torso first of the horse or at the same time

Yes and loose the battallion to attack twice or get our hearthguard hitted by roar so cant attack first gonna be fun too....

The father is very bad(as every hero withouth ca or bufs) but the daugther isnt so bad and i would like to play her but i wont pay 40€ to play a small hero of 12\17 € Her damage isnt bad and vs wizards is pretty good,only for sniping enemy mages she is ok

It isnt useless but also isnt competitive as every other broken realm city,are can be fun to play but dont competitive

Im sorry but with city ofsigmar many units lost weapons,shields or armor!!! Ironbreakers lost hist gromrill armor that ignored rend and got nothing back Wild ryders lost his +1save of shield and didnt was faq. So i dont have hopes in black knigths getting his weapon or shield back with the faq

Its so easy,all those kharadrons haters of soup. Dont get nothing new and continue playing only kharadrons units the same than ironjaws oe bonespliters can play without big wagg. I dont get all the problems and ranting,if you like soup play soup,if you dont like then play only monofaction all is posible

The excuse kharadrons and fyreslayers are diferent style and cant be souped is ******. In fantasy dwarfs were all together and had old nordic dwarfs with low armor(warrior), heavy armor(actual ironbreakers),slayers,the steampunks gyros and artillery. So in fantasy the dwarfs were dispossesed,fyreslayers and kharadrons all together and was cool and great. Im happy to be soup and i hope gw finnally do it because fyreslayers and kharadron should have been in the same book since the beggining

As city player i LOVE soup tomes. I dont mind the lore,and from hobby and player vision a soup tome is the heaven: -you dont get bored building and painting the same unitx9999999 times because you can have multiple diferent looking units! -you arent stuck with the same list every game(fyreslayer hearthguard bomb) and you can try multiples diferents lists -you can buy units that you never tougth get because you didnt wanted buy the full 2000 points army but now you can get 500\700 points of per example kharadrons To me all are advantages, i get people fanatics about lore dont like the idea and i respect them. But as hobbyst and player i looooooove soup tomes. But if i could choose between soup dwarfs or a second (lumineth) wave for my fyreslayers and dispossessed then i prefer get the second wave,but i know is a fact fyres are the least popular army and they havent got nothing in 7 years(a scenary and endless spells only) not even a battleforce or any bundle box as EVERY faction have got.so i prefer souo before nothing

I see many negative post about the soup but the options were: 1-get a second wave of minis 2-get a soup tome 3- get nothing 4-get squated As disposesed and fyreslayer player i would prefer option 1. But i have feared in many moments that both armys were squated due to be old(dispossesed) or be the least popular army(fyreslayer) So i was one of those haters when city came and i got my dispossesed soup with elf!!!!!!!! And many others. Short history? Have been the best that i could hope. I have bougth some minis that i loved of elfs and dark elfs but that i never got because i didnt wanted a full army and moreover soup bring soooooo many options that every game i can change my list and have been a blast. Per example i hate steampunk style so i never got kharadrons,but if we get soup? I gonna get a start collecting or battleforce if it isnt sold yet so i can have more options and it is a small invest(if you compare it to get full army of kharadrons)

As dwarf player i get why people dont want the soup dwarf tome. But i really after see how after 7 years since his release the fyreslayers only got one scenary and endless spell......... A second wave would be the best of course,but betwen stay other 7 years with nothing new or get a soup fun tome? I prefer the soup

Yes this is true. I am lucky. All my armys are pretty cheap City of sigmar that have behemots for 45\50 € when in any other army would be 120€ per example Fyreslayers are expensive,but the start collecting is great so it isnt so bad and i play gotrek as sustitute of the second blob of hearthguards so my 2000 points have been pretty cheap Stormcasts,i have 2000 points veeeeeeery cheap betwen aos1 starter edition box,blightwar box and 15 sequitors from mortal realm number1 Now my new army soulbligth all is pretty "cheap" and i got 2200 points only with fec start collecting,skeleton start collecting,new soulbligth start collecting and one box of blood knigths. So is true some armys as lumineths are expensiver than gold but if people want play cheap we have many options,only for the meta chasers or any outliers as lumineths(i dont know why every lumineths unit cost as 30% expensiver than similar boxes in others armys)

Again other spoiler about dwarf mixed tome even if some people dont want it seems is coming for sure. I hope they dont forget the dispossessed in that tome as they only mention fyreslayers and kharadrons

I am veeeeery hyped. This edittion have been a huge faill in balance between the free sumon and some random broken units(seraphons,ells,turtle,morathi) never have had nothing even close to a balanced meta. Its imposible next edittion be so umbalanced as this have been. Also new rules if rumors are true seems very fun as the overwatch or run away. But my problem is that have taken me around 4 years to get ready my dwarf army that in midway gw changed them from dispossessed to citys before even i could play with them. And now that finnally i am done with them i am also almost done with my fyreslayers also and so i started my vampires as my next long project but seems next edittion gonna have me buy the dominion box because it is so good in saving and i love the winged lady mini and if rumours are true i gonna buy the new free people and every new dwarf faction or mixed dwarf or everithing that have dwarf on it that come. So i would have prefered some more time to build my vampires before all these new stuffs

Gotrek have move 4 kragnos 10 Gotrek have 8 w with save 4\3 kragnos save 2 and inmune to spells Gotrek deals around 16 damage and can attack twice while kragnos does 30 in one attack and with more rend Gotrek cost 520 and also cant get any buff of armys. So he is better than gotrek and with triple move of gotrek that is his counterplay. Is imposible kragnos cost less 600 if is balanced

Seems a problematic model to balance. He is almost in inmortal vs armys with 0 mortal wounds output but he is instakilled withouth counterplay by mortal wounds spam armys as lumineths or hearthguard poleaxes. But around 30 damage output being almost all mortal and rend3 and 18 w with save 2 i think 600+ is a minimun

Thanks for the tips,if i may add it would be easier to follow the tutorial(and for non english speakers also) if you show the paint pot with the name before paint each step

If you have many of those and dont want spend more money getting dogs then you can use them. They are a great mini but the rules are useless,5 save for a cavalry of 120 points that does 0 damage dont make sense,my wild riders cost 120 too and have 5 save but his weapon have rend 2 in charge so it is good damage with bad save. Other example dark elfs cold ones cost around the same and have also poor damage but have save 3,so they are tanks These bk are bad damage with bad save dont makes sense. They need double damage or better save to have any option

Btw i dont know if any is wrong with the mold,or bad design. But in the bloodk nigth kit that i got,the captain wings in the neck of the body bit,both wings are white(plastic stress) and one is close to broken and bent. I spoke with friends and all got 100% the same problem,and in youtuve i have seen 2 unboxings and both have the same problem I found one good example,see at minute 11:45

As rules they are garbagge,nothing special and his ca of reroll 1 hits is the same than the generic of general handbook for everyone. But the model(both versions) is great and it is pretty cheap in points,so i see some use to have a fast hero that can equip reliks and warlord traits and keep with fast units. In general they are bad but can have any use due to low cost

I hope not,i know people dont like soup tomes but i love them. I am not a fantasy player that is playing citys because i have the old minis. I am a new player that love the city soup concept because i get bored fast building and painting the same minis. So city is a heaven in this,i have msu units of dark elfs,high elfs,collegiate,wanderers and many dwarfs. So if they divide the tome in separate armys i wont play anymore because i only gonna have as 600 points of every army Disspossessed 1300 Dark elfs 600 High elfs 500 Free people 500 Collegiate 500 Ironweld 150 Wanderers 200 That is my list,so i think the situation is diferent that leguion of nagash,because as the 70% of lon is now vampires but if they do the same with city it gonna be a disaster and i hope never happen

Yes i dont like as gw dealt with cursed city and i just start a soulbligth army so i was thinking(when cursed city was released) get at some point one box to use as start collecting for soulbligth. But i only changed from cursed city as starter to fec start collecting and skeletons start collecting bougth. It hurts me,i know gw are jerks that only think in money,but in my town only play gw minis so i cant change to other company
