  1. The city so far: Calderos Realmgate: One passing overhead and one that leads to Shyish Factions: The city itself, a stormhost (Trident something), the corsairs, Wild Rangers and Sylvaneth near the vineyards, KO atop the spires in the center of island, and Idoneth who are secretive and no one knows they are there, even the SCE. I think Khainites too. Enemies: Grots and Skaven beneath the city, Ossiarchs in negations across the realmgate, Chaos Duardin flying around above the city, various things beyond the borders (mostly tzeentch), and cults within. Ogor dudes. Of note: Godbeast below, massive skull, huge mountain in the center, and lots of fishing. Currency is scales and an important good is hallucinogenic wine. And the godbeast is being reincarnated. I am going to update this constantly so please correct me on things. Goals Ossiarchs: Reanimating the bones. Bones, bones, bones. Idoneth: Souls Stormhost: Keep the city not dead Normal people/Aelves/CoS: They're just fighting for a life Kharadron: Money money money money money Chaos Related factions: Chaos? Sylvaneth: Sylvaneth things? Protecting the wild lands and farms I suppose. Grots: Partying hard in the city below Skaven: Skaven things? Ogors: Delicious.
  2. And to add to it the SCE are well aware, but just don't care. The Idoneth don't take their souls so the SC just kinda leave them alone. I like the idea of a stormhost which is focused on protecting the structure of the city but not the people inside it.
  3. I like that, each farm is family owned with a small family and is granted a small plot of land to farm. Could be a way to attract people, as I am sure the grapes would be quite a lucrative source of income. Maybe even having a rampant illegal drug manufacture thing which is hidden as the wine.
  4. I mean someone has to protect the vast grapevines that service the city.
  5. I agree. On top of that the hallucinogen wine is great. Maybe the hallucinogen wine is their main export, being a city filled with crime and such.
  6. I think a scale could be a loaf of bread, perhaps 1 for 2 fish, as wheat and such would be much harder to find then fish in the surrounding waters. The scarcity of certain resources would be an interesting bit that comes through sometimes, as metals and gems are priced much lower while vegetables and grains are more expensive. Perhaps instead of making money, they are trying to live. It isn't a healthy city, the majority of it is called bone town and is made of driftwood, so instead of exporting goods it is really just supporting those who are investigating the realm gate and the catacombs beneath. Of course there are entrepreneurs, but the majority is just trying to live in a place that seems less dangerous than everywhere else. Crime is rampant, the poor litter the streets, and even the local stormhost can't help you. The economy having 1 scale a loaf of bread and 2 for a fish is also so that we don't get to weird conversions and I doubt they would get too complex, I think it would be more realistic if the fish they were abtained from were small and had few scales, so people had say a fish owrth of scales and that is it, and event hose people are better off. let's bring in AoS28
  7. I really like that, having some SCE who are focused on using the sea to their advantage. This could open up some interesting possibilities with the Idoneth, as a protagonist and antagonist. Maybe they too treasure the scales or are adept at getting them and will trade souls for scales? Perhaps the SCE have been damaged slightly by the shadows of Ulgu, and ignore something that other Storm Hosts would crack down on. They have seen so much that they stopped caring.
  8. I think that it would be cool for both the scales to make items and to be the currency used, meaning that everyone smells fishy. The term "something's fishy" loses meaning when nearly everyone is committing a crime and literally smells like fish.
  9. I was thinking that the Kharadron are just hiding any and all evidence of Chaos Duardin existence. It fits with the rest of the shadow war. Sea Pangolin (Thx Google)
  10. The Duardin of the nearby Skyport (prolly my self - insert army) are hiding a dark secret from the rest of the city...
  11. Now that I think about it I remember an older thread about Steam Tanks, I might go see if I can dredge it up. It was about crazy all monster/vehicle lists and I think there was like 3 or 4 tank lists
  12. I like teh idea of making quite valuable scale armor, making rather large-ish scales a form of currency, the bigger and harder the better. All sorts of oppurtunities for illegal farms and casting the scales out of metal.
  13. Well that's a ship ton of ships. Ha, ha ha. I am sorry. I would say that it looks quite good, The ironclad would have your 2 endrinmasters and would be flying around decimating anything that comes into range, clearing objectives and the like, while your frigates follow and provide fire support. If you get the SC you might want to swap a hauler out for some riggers and CP and keep the riggers near your ironclad which should be up front for extra heals, or attach them to a gunhauler for fast moving repair. The endrinmasters are going to be healing and the gunhaulers will be the ones who are going around and flanking and such.
  14. Ooh I like that, how the godbeast having been killed is slowly coming back and is in it's "baby" form. Smaller in size than it was previously but still absolutely huge.
  15. This sounds great and I really like it! One thing, I think were still going back and forth on the is the cit living inside the dead godbeasts bones or keeping it asleep so it might have to change a little there but other than that I love it.
  16. Woops, there we go accidentally making a cult again.
  17. Don't forget Kharadron heavily represented by Barak Mhornar and friends.
  18. You were expecting a Stormcast eternal but it is I Di- er, Archaon! Seriously though that pose is truly fit for Jojo
  19. I just thought of something. What if we have it so that it is a shadow war to the truest extent, in that the populatio living there doesn't even know there is a war or things under it. I could totally see this as an Aelven move, where the common population does not know there even is a battle being waged.
  20. Occupied by the Ossiarch who instead of walking out of the skull walked inside of it and nobody noticed.
  21. Thanks, the beards was Heather Blue from reaper with a light Nuln shading. I hate shading too much so I keep it to a minimum usually.
