  1. clown car is the jargon name for the ko list that was actually really good untill the 3rd attempted fix via faq FINALY gutted the faction in to oblivion. i coined it early days cos your shoved as many models as you could in a single ironclad and then ziflin moved and dumped a bazillion endrins in the enemys lines all getting out the same transport. much like a circus clown car
  2. I'm fully of the opinion id be taking 10 man units even they wernt battline. they are that good in my opinion. in fact i even take them still when I'm messing about with a king general and have access to eel battleline . they are critical to IDK regardless of battle line restrictions

  4. yea that's not a marched play thing. king was there purely as a little beat stick/speed bump. list works great. really liking fuethan for eel heavy
  5. hey. I'm the guy that was on stream with deepkin last game at bobo. just say but the thralls are super strong,especially in a meta where shooting is dropping off and with a turn 2 high tide.
  6. Welp. I think today seals it. Retiring the ko now. Might break em out if they ever figure out what they actually want the army to do... cos atm it feels like they think the whole books a mistake and cant think of any way to fix it. Was a pleasure boys. But im out. Chiao.
  7. yea. if ive done my maths right - with all the buffs they get its marginally better if they dont get stuck in a protracted grind combat. But im no math expert - ill gladly submit to a higher authority on it
  8. Got this guy done this week - lovely model pain in the butt to pain those tatooes tho! Also got a game in vs the infamous Mark Wildman - it did not go well. I have a feeling that going from a hyper aggressive Overlord army to a very defensive chaos list is going to cause some mental clashing of gears
  9. i do it for the damage 2 mainly, with the buffs they get from the sorc and the command ability id much rather the damage 2. also the rend then kicks in after the initial charge.

So heres the progress so far: Gaunt Summoner Converted sayl (the only model left over from my previous mixed chaos army) The oft summoned herald The 1st 5 of the warriors The converted marauders Summonable Plague Bearers On the painting desk atm is the chaos sorcerer lord and an Ogroid too (a juicy little variant of my list swaps sayl and the spawn for the Ogroid for a true 1 drop )

  12. Hello - My names Gary - you might of seen me kicking about in the Aos tourney scene for the past year after bailing from 40k after 15 ish long years. Anyway Aos has got my hobby juices flowing for the 1st time in a loooooooong time, so i thought id blog my progress.
