Swooper
I know it's not Wednesday, but I haven't had time to paint since Wednesday so this still counts:
ParachuteHopper
This is what I have been working on over the last couple weeks, they still need some touch ups. As I haven't really painted miniatures since I was a teenager (early 30s now) I could definitely use some C&C. I'm thinking a desert/badlands basing scheme.

It looks striking by the way, but I don't think I could prevent ruining the paint job with your strategy. I was going to ask this too. Edit: Maybe it's possible to compromise, where "exposed" (i.e. eventually painted) connection points are cut off pre-painting, while "hidden" (i.e. will not be painted, and may even be glued) connection points remain attached to the sprue during painting. However, this doesn't really work for the above examples, as both face connection points are unpainted and both staff connection points are painted. That said, the staff represents an easy removal and subsequent touch-up (i.e. a dab of brown basecoat) compared to somewhere with complex, blended painting (e.g. skin, etc.) and/or a greater requirement for smoothness (e.g. skin, fabric, etc.). Soulsmith
Hey @Kramer and @Kyriakin. First thanks, really enjoying painting up the fungoid, but it's a busy little model! I left these parts on sprue as I didn't want the squig being "absorbed" by sand when I base it, but to sit on top. And the head and staff really limit access, especially to another bottle of fungus on his right hip. Fortunately on the squig, he is attached to the sprue by the underside, so no issue at all. The connections on the face are both when it will be glued on anyway, so I'll actually be scratching the primer off there anyway. For the staff, both points are towards the body so unseen, but I will be dabbing small amounts of brown and a highlight dot if required. Otherwise just be careful with your clippers ?

Mandzak-Miniatures
Not entirely model related, or a whole lot to look at right now.. Here is a WIP shot of my studio. In this picture its currently primed. I literally just got done with my first coat of paint, but no images will be up until after tomorrow when the painting is done. Anyone want to take a crack on what color it will be? Other WIP parts can be seen in my blog (which was started to keep me motivated). Artobans Ghost
The May painting contract as well. Only have 20 spiderfangs, 10 being converted to AoS. May add more to the contract but I may take it easier this month ? Will also be working on a much better base than my dreary old drabness.

TheOtherJosh
Magore’s Fiends assembled and Primed for painting ... what color scheme? Traditional ... or something different? Decisions ... decisions ... Nothing like taking advantage of the fact that the models are press fit and don’t have to be entirely glued, allow them to be taken apart to get access to hidden and hard to paint areas!
