"madness, grief, and ruin" maybe Madness is Khorne then? Aqshy-Shyish-GHR realms being smashed together?

What if each represents a different Grand Alliance. As it was mentioned before about Grief being linked to Lady Olynder so Nighthaunt and Death, Ruin being Chaos with the skaven but WHAT IF...WHAT IF... Madness is actually Bonesplitterz? Things have been going sour with Kragnos of late, but doesn't everywhere he goes powers a WAAAGH and rile up the destruction factions while he rages across the land so what if he has the attention of Bonesplitterz and this is the edition where they finally get a facelift?

At least it's not a primaris lieutenant which is... something I guess

Fabius Bile: I have cracked the code for creating Primaris Geneseed...

Abaddon: Perfect put it into all of our Lieutants.

Bile: B..b...but between my mastery of genetics and the gifts of the chaos... I can develop Marines of unequa....

Abaddon: Look Primaris lieutenants are the only way the Imperium is funding this war and we need to make some of our own.

Meanwhile in the Mortal Realms:

Nagash: MOAR VAMPIRES!!!

Madness= Khorne (Khul and/or Valkia whooping Hammerhal booty), Grief= Nighthaunt (Maybe Olynder is trying to make a power play before Arkhan and Nagash come to reset GA: Death's status quo?), Ruin =Rat-Things Yes-Yes (Massive refresh for Skaven, including new Verminlord, Skryre weapons teams, and hopefully Eshin goodness).

good news: you can always tell when something is a marine

bad news: ...you can always tell when something is a marine

Good thing I managed to get a hold of a HH Night Lords Terminator Praetor/Lord, I do not feel the call of a new leader for my war bands just yet.

The word madness is very much associated with FEC, I can't remember the prophecy off the top of my head but what if it's like the riders of the apocalypse, first they had to fend off the Kingsblood curse, then they had to deal with the nighthaunt invasion in Embergard and now the ruinous skaven are coming for them.

The good ol Lieutenant play. Guess for Lieutenant and would win 50% of the time.

You know what? Say what you will about chaos marines(I certainly rolled my eyes at another one) but I really do appreciate how much design work had to go into them to make even an angry block silhouette so instantly recognizable.

Cheers to the designers on that. 🍻

Madness is GSG. Don't you remember the "Now it's personal?" DB short story?

It's Warhammer, every faction has a character that has a personal beef with another faction.

Too many mad factions, maybe they should see a psychiatrist?

@pitzok please read above: If every "mad" faction went to a shrink and actually worked through their various issues and addiction, then odds are we would never have a warhammer game but some kind of modern DND/MTG setting where the worst thing that happens is someone says a bad word.

Don't know if it's been posted already but has anyone seen the pricing of the Bonegrinder Giant and other Giant for the pre-order this weekend?

If it is not on the list I posted, it is made to order. Then we won't know the price until they list it on their web.

not really a fan of either of these IPs but i know that's reductive... both of them have transplanar threats, DND has the alignment system that literally damns entire species into Good or Evil. and IIRC for MTG, a lot of their high-cost cards could level cities pretty easily if not continents.

I imagine they'll annouce soon the made to order stuff (old wyvern, oldschool trolls, marauder giant, etc)

Interesting how the Big Box went down from 206/230 € (Bret/TK) to 130 €.

Since a couple of months or three ago GW has been more cautious about everyone accessing the prices sheets, and since then no one shared the UK prices here anymore. At least we have the EUR ones to get a rough idea.

Maybe that was the turnout Warhammer Fantasy fans that got mad at the old world exploding were hoping for?

Guys you should be careful of what you post on TGA. Some people online might steal it and pass it as a “real” rumour on other platforms to get some clout.

I think it’s literally copy pasted from here lmao

IMG_9045.jpeg

I would go and think about it in a positive way. Maybe the author of the guess shared it somewhere else and from there it went to more people?
