Big question, does Legion of Grief still exist?

vampire lords are slower, lose their invocation when taken as allies, and their command ability is now wholly within and only affects soulblight gravelords summonable units.  Solid ally for nighthaunt now might as well not be an ally option at all.

legion of grief looks pretty dead.  The non-soulblight gravelords allegiance in SBGL, which grief players and LoN players with morghasts or arkhan in their collection have been holding their breath for hasn't been shown yet, but from what has been shown it's safe to assume it's just a reprint of the existing grand alliance death - no spell lores, no allegiance abilities apart from deathless minions, same artefacts & command abilities most likely.

Which while it could be used to field all the units currently in legion of grief, it wouldn't really be a viable army in any way.

Theoretically it still does but I can't see it lasting much longer.

It technically does because, while Legions of Nagash was retired, Legion of Grief has no actual rules connections to Legions of Nagash.

Legion of Grief exists until the 2021 GHB comes out and excludes it. So we have about 1 month and some change before its gone forever. 

But honestly with the addition of subfactions to Nighthaunt, and the hard nerfs to Necromancers, there is less and less reason to take LoG over Nighthaunt.
