  1. If true, would mean they'll be doing timed runs based on armies/factions.
  2. If they look 'blocky', try watering down a wash and applying thinly over the top before final line highlights. This can help to blend the different tones. The wash can be a standard one or you can make one via the basecoat and glaze medium.
  3. Army of the month in the next issue is from 40k
  4. Only thing known is that it's a 40k battle report this time (Imperium vs Xenos). I hope that it does contain some look into the future. Even if it hints at the following weeks. If not, we can assume: 40k battle report Blood Angels Genestealer Cult Was Kharn in the last one? AoS tale of 4 warlords
  5. Second WD comes with a free 40k comic as rumoured:
  6. Great write up. Glad you had a positive experience. I'll definitely be going next year then (maybe with Fimir if FW get a wriggle on...).
  7. Sneaky Thousand Sons snake in the background there. Those Silver Towers are too big. FW would probably do them if they were Khorne. Fingers crossed for a month of Tzeentch. Let's do this!
  8. Recent activity shows a two week lead up to releases now. Tease, preorder, release. They've just dropped a 40k teaser: Do they look Tzeentchian?... Rubic marines are incoming. So a month of Tzeentch soon is not unplausible.
  9. https://war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/bloggings/1132#disqus_thread In there.
  10. Old rumourererer Hastings popped up yesterday and said the following are coming: new Skaven, LoC and a new starter box. No known release month yet.
  11. Another friendly multiplayer day. This time it was three of us playing - Stormcast, Tzeentch and Nurgle. We used the Triumph and Treachery rules for the first time. Battleplan was holding the centre of the board - blood and glory, I think. We played without battleline restrictions. Here are some photos from the day. Next time I'll make notes and write a full battle report.

    Great Unclean One

Reminds me of the Megadrive game Splatterhouse 2. Which is a good thing. A very good thing.
  13. I might pop down to see it/the store too.
  14. There are two Fimir models (one seen; one not seen). There is also a chaos dragon too that I expect will be part of the FW AoS character series.

Really good to see a mono-God list work.

Very happy to see a Colossal Squig on the table.
  17. The SG comes with a rectangle base. Which I threw in a bits box somewhere. I wanted to round base it and the above was the best size I found.
  18. If round you need this sized one (just plastic): https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Citadel-160-Round-Base I can get you a photo of mine if it helps.
  19. Dakka is the best for 40k rumours at the moment (due to one or two posters that drop by). No CSM book; but will get some new rules as part of campaign (probably formations). 8th edition is next year.
  20. Progress on my 1000pt Tzeentch force for my first Matched Play day next month. Still a lot to do on these two. Was nice to set aside some pure painting time.
  21. Not that I know of. And no announcement saying they'd be removed. What is odd is that they haven't done that with models. So we'll see. Hopefully it's an error before the PDF scans are uploaded.
  22. Latest update of the app removes a lot of terrain rules. Probably will be reintroduced next week in the battletome behind a paywall.
  23. The books should come with a code. But I see it more as a business decision (% of people will double dip).
