  1. You are right When I first saw it I didn't notice what kind of beastman they were. I assumed they were just beastmen. 💔
  2. Am I the only one who finds it odd that they showed the beastmen in the 4th edition teaser trailer and now they've removed them? 🤔
  3. I'm agree with you, I tend to dislike "miniatures" which cost more than 500 points. Fortunaly, in this case we have Arkhan who is a "mini" Nagash already
  4. Well, if I remember correctly (I'm no expert on 40k lore) we have the "pariah gene", and it was very important in the old necron lore. I've searched the wiki on this and I'll put here the relevant stuff: In the old necron lore this gene was very important because with this gene and using the locations where the 4 C'tan were supposed to be; Pavonis (The Nightbringer), Naogeddon (The Deceiver), Mars (The Dragon) and a mysterious sphere dyson (The Outsider), which the Tyranids were trying to surround during their invasion of the galaxy, they formed an inverted pyramid that joining together would isolate that region of the Warp and close the Eye of Terror. Not only that, all races would be unable to travel across the galaxy via warp-jumps, and I guess the Eldar Webway technology wouldn't work. So all races in some way or another were at the mercy of the Necrons if the plan was completed. Here the image, you can see how the pyramid was formed: I would love to see something like this in AoS
  5. Let me get this straight, these void monsters are anathema to Chaos, right? (also to all other races obviously) Do you think the Ruinous Powers are afraid of them? They inhabit the void and the Slaan apparently know them. Could they be the Old Ones? We know that the Old Ones created the worlds, could they have seeded them with life to "harvest" them in the future? Are the Seraphon their servants without us knowing it, that's why they never ally definitively with the forces of order and that's why they fled to the void during the destruction of the World-that-Was knowing that they would be safe there with their masters? Could they be the C'tan? Could they be Hive Minds?
  6. It reminds me a lot of Bretonnia in a way. If you love the lore as I do, you will know that as a commander of a Dawnbringer Crusade you are not just fighting to win the battle, you are also fighting to avoid losing because behind your army there is a caravan of poor people, oldmen, mothers and childs looking for a better future... those are your people. You MUST protect them! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGctASqrXis&ab_channel=Warhammer This worlds are cruel you may fail, but you will never concede! NOT if there is at least one man alive in the battlefield waiting for your orders, NOT if your last weapon is still sharp, even if the owner of the shop is telling you that he is going to close the DAMN store with you inside, you will stay there fighting alongside your troops! Because that people believe in you, you are their last hope, their champion. You are a Dawnbringer! And for Sigmar, that's what we will do! :3
  7. I think you take the game too far, it's just a game set in worlds full of pain, slaughter and injustice. Warhammer is full of despicable races and cultures. In fact everyone is waiting for a race with a theme totally geared towards slave exploitation (the chaos duardin, who even enjoy abusing their slaves). Elves are arrogant and somehow racists, Dwarves are greedy ****** and Humans are intolerant zealots, every race has his own sins. I don't think that a faction oriented to exploration, conquest and certainly plundering of new lands would be worse than many other Warhammer factions (I don't think this human faction has a slaver theme). I guess we will always have the Tyranids for those who don't like playing with xenophobic factions (just a joke to try to lower the tension of the debate).
  8. Yes i know what you mean and It's heartwarming that you think that way, but i guess for me they are just villains, and as villains of a fictional story I truly love them. I think it's a similar case to the Vikings, the Conquistadors are no better or worse than the Vikings, they plundered innocent people and imposed their gods, but for some reason everyone loves vikings stories. Idoneth are basically Vikings in that regard. Although like the rest of the people who have commented, I would also like to have the option of being able to make a multiracial army. Hopefully GW will provide us with some way to satisfy both possibilities (Hopefully).
  9. Definitely! Now I just have to find an excuse to go to my parents house to search through boxes for my Pirazzo's lost legion (truly lost now i guess lol)
  10. Well this is Warhammer, you should NOT feel identified with any faction because there is not a single faction that is objectively good.
  11. I would like to know how the lore is going to progress to supposedly justify this absence of non-human races in the army. Perhaps the Cities of Sigmar and the Dawnbringer Crusades are two different things (and not just an update) and the non-human races have not felt the call of adventure and have not enlisted in the crusades, staying in the great metropolis already founded with their own agendas. While I hope there is some way to include other races (Dwarves and Elves mainly) as some sort of "special allies", I'm glad that humans represent the majority of the army, because it opens the door to a future army of classic dwarves.
  12. I just love how GW seems to present this "new" faction, very "Spanish" theme with the Inquisition, the morion helmet, the conquistadors exploring unknown lands and founding new colonies in savages and mysterious lands for God & Gold.
  13. About Cities of Sigmar I'm watching again Skaven's reveal video and I think that this new humans are going to have some kind of Spanish conquistadors and explorers flavor/theme which i think it's very cool.
  14. That Monkey should have had a Straw Hat, you know...
  15. Also remember Battleforces are probably just around the corner, maybe people is saving money. At least that's my case, I want to buy a Mega-Gargant but I'll wait and see which armies are going to receive juicies discounts first.
  16. So... Barak-Thryng can take Gotrek without being an ally? Or just Fyreslayer and Dispossessed units?
  17. Old chaos dwarfs will appear in total war 3 I don't know if it's going to be this year 2020 or the next one, but I'm pretty sure that this fact is going to increase greatly the popaluraty of this army and I think GW it's aware of this fact so maybe it's planning something to take adventage of it. PS: My apologies if I'm committing grammar mistakes, English is not my first language.
  18. Maybe LoA is disapearing because GW wants to create its own chaos Duardins? They mentioned them in the core book with Zharr-Vyxa so that has to mean something... Right? I've been playing dwarfs since I was kid but just because when I began to collect warhammer miniatures chaos dwarfs were disapearing from stores. I want to believe 🥺
  19. Chaos Duardin: We've been waiting since 4th edition. Kurnothi Aelves: the miniatures look so cool Beasts of Chaos: they have great potential, they just have to be BEASTS of chaos not just goats of chaos. Imagine and army with tiger-men, wolf-men, monkey-men, elephant-men, boar-men.... All of them with a chaotic touch. Just look at this:
  20. Mmmm The grial could be related with vampires, vampire pirates are still an option if this is the commanderʼs sword.
  21. I'm pretty sure it's a placeholder. Kurnothi are Sylvaneth allies like Fyreslayers and Kharadron. They are protagonist of this new box, it has to mean something.
  22. I would like to hear opinions about the future of the Ogors Do you think that GW will realease a dual box (like looncurse for example) with Bonereapers? I'm not buying Beastgrave right now beacuse i'm saving money for this box 🤔
