  1. What's the community opinion regarding the MKBoss weapon? Gore hacka or the fist? More attacks or the ability to mirror some mortal wounds?
  2. Is the Wrath of Gork spell more staple than the Green Hand? It seems really powerful, with only 4 units you can easily cause 8 MW 😮
  3. Ok, I've completely misunderstood the Waaagh CA. I haven't red the part which says "up to". That changes a lot my opinion about the book (regarding rules, not the lack of new "things").
  4. Am I the only one very disappointed with the new book? No own scenary, no endless spells, no new models at all (despite the fact that even the old Wurrzag is still in the book), no VS box set (Sylvaneth vs Gloomspite, FeC vs Skavens, Slaanesh vs Khorne, Stormcast vs Nighthaunt, and I suppose Bonereapers vs Mawtribes). Furthermore, the Waaagh command ability is really awful. You need at least 10 units surrounding your Megaboss to assure the success of the roll. 10 units! And wholly within, of course. I guess I will never use this command ability. What else? Few tribes. Only 3 tribes for each, but I'm an Ironjawz players only (I dislike the concept of the Savage Orruks), so I only have 3 tribes, which, imho, are really bad, specially the Bloodtoofs (my tribe) (although I admit it CA is really tricksty if you manage to get the double turn). Is the Realmgate my "own scenary"? No, so I depend on the randomness of the table to use my General's Trait. Smart. Some good buffs in the case of the Ardboys, always IMHO, reducting to 5 min size and merging up the weapon profiles. Very easy for the army to hit (and wound) on 2+. Pure strength, as it should be. But the items and the trais are... Forgetable. The Ironclad+Etheral Amulet on a MK is really cool. The Destroyer can make the MK kill anything with easyness. The Brutish Cunning + Ironfist ability is really helpful in order to save points (for rerolling charges, oc). To sum up, I see some good stuff (hello attacks buffed MK 2+ unrending healing each turn), but in a nutshell, I see a lot of weak points. I don't really see how to beat the triple KoS, for instance. Just my 2 cents, change my mind. Specially about the Waaagh CA.
  5. I believe that any plastic model/unit will remain in the future book.
  6. Honestly, I would like to see new plastic Yethees. We are, with Skavens, the faction with most resin models. Disgusting.
  7. I am totally convinced that Ogors and BCR will be together in the same book, just as the Cities of Sigmar new battletlome does.
  8. I wish it could be the return of the desert legions, buuuuut... Unlikely.
  9. Can we just hope new models for the old fashioned state troops, aelf archers and/or some dwarf units? They are old for ages (since at least 6th ED).
  10. This battletome will be huge. All aelves factions, all human factions and all non-KO dwarf factions together in 1 book. More or less ala Nagash book.
  11. What it's unbelievable is that the ETC consider 9th age as main game for their tourney instead of AoS. Hilarious.
  12. How do you field your Skywardens? Units of 3 full shooting? Units of 6 full shooting also? Units of 6-9 full close combat? I'm tempted to play units of 6 Wardens full shooting to kite enemies (well, 2 melee weapons are mandatory, I know).
  13. Arkanauts. As much as possible. At 2000, you will likely need at least 40-50 of them. Aether Khemist. One or two. Are the best chars we have. Beyond from that... You can build your army around the Escort Wing, in which case you will need a Frigate and more Gunhaulers or an Iron Sky Squadron, in which case you will need 2 Frigates and some Endrinriggers as they synergy well with that Batalion.
  14. Hello, new Slaanesh polayer tempted by the Dark Prince reporting presence! I have bought the SC Box, and my question is: can I build another thing beyond the Exalted Chariot? I've red somewhere that I can build even 2 seeker chariots. Is that true?

It is curious how he says he only used Waaagh one or two times, so he didn't depend at all of the Brooch, allowing him to use some cool artifact(s), such the Amulet (plus the Ironclad he is almost unkillable without MW). It is something, imho, good. Hysh only has the Brooch, and we are forgiving some nice artifacts.

  17. In that kind of list in which you need protection for your lines, I'd go better with the Barbarian mercs rather the Longbeards. Double the wounds at the same price.
  18. Basically play MSU style with the bomb of the Ironclad descending where you want and carrying the "big" company + khemist.

It has to drop out the Escort Wing for that and a Gunhauler or the Skywardens. Anyways, I'm happy with the GHB19 because now we can build lots of different lists, with the death star or the msu style, or even, the clowncar again. Unleash the ships!

On the table, who knows.
  22. I was thinking the same, Thryng + Escort with 2 Frigates. But I'd prefer go full Kharadron, and play more mobile MSU, so I'd go with 1 Thunderers unit, no allies and more Skywardens/Endrinriggers.
  23. So, we are stuck in the realm of Light. What other artifacts are worth of that realm? I'm looking at the Luminary Rod, Sunblade, Blade of Symmetry, Mirrored Cuirass, Sash of the Ten Paradises and Prysm of Amyntok.
  24. Why don't merge up 2 units of Brutes into 1 of 10 and use the teleport on them?
