  1. I don't know where people constantly get the idea that Azyros gives +1 to hit cuz he clearly does not... He allows you to re-roll hit rolls of 1 against enemy units within range of his lantern
  2. Now check out the wording on Scions, it clearly says number of UNITS on the table, not drops, if that was drops, than setting , let's say, thunderhead brotherhood on the table, all 5 units from it would have allowed you one, only ONE unit set up as scions
  3. Well that's bad judgement right there if ever saw one
  4. Played couple of similar lists, first was with 6 horrors instead of arkhan, doppelganger cloak (before nerf) on ZD (general, majestic horror) and miasmatic blade on TG, won a local tournament pretty confidently Second was for 2250 tournament with arkhan, more ghouls, courtier and some CPs, doppelganger cloak (again, before nerf) on TG general with magestic horror and flayed pennant on patrol's courtier for summon flank charge Then, yesterday got my ass kicked, used this list: Allegiance: Flesh Eater Courts- Delusion: Crusading ArmyMortal Realm: UlguLeadersAbhorrant Ghoul King on Terrorgheist (400)- General- Trait: Magestic Horror - Artefact: Miasmatic Blade Abhorrant Ghoul King on Zombie Dragon (440)Crypt Ghast Courtier (80)- Artefact: The Flayed Pennant Crypt Ghast Courtier (80)Battleline20 x Crypt Ghouls (200)20 x Crypt Ghouls (200)10 x Crypt Ghouls (100)Units6 x Crypt Horrors (320)BattalionsGhoul Patrol (180)Total: 2000 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 0 / 400Wounds: 114 So what I can tell - arkhan is very good to have an upperhand in magic play going to use him more, and ghouls in units of 20 are having big troubles surviving during the game when hit hard because you don't really have CPs to spare for passing bravery early in the game, if you get alpha striked hard enough say good bye to your expensive 200 points unit that is supposed to win you mission so I will be tweaking some things until I find whats the most optimal.
  5. I'm going to try castigators once I get back to SCE from FEC, I guess I'll take them instead of judicators (since I sometimes have more battleline than just minimum) and look if their versatility will pay off
  6. That would be HUGE, since it's additional unit you get on the table so you could get more units Scioned
  7. And you can also change target for Aethereal Stalker mount trait because when you use his CA you set him up
  8. I'd suggest jumping around with big unit of palladors with Lord Aquilor using Celestial Vindicators as your stormhost, ths way you can throw some buffs turn one, throw them across the table with aquilor, charge, give them +1 attack and rerolls for charge. Repeat every turn, that is going to eat a lot of CPs, but can be powerfull
  9. Yeah, I guess if you don't run SD on your LCoSD it's a different story
  10. I don't know, going 1+ save 4+ against MWs looks better because of how easy it is to burn through stardrake with MWs
  11. Try ethereal amulet from shyish + mystic shield or slowed cogs, for unrendable 3+ with either rerolls of 1s or 1s and 2s, plus you will always have an ability to speed things up if needed
  12. Magnetize the hell out of them! And always bring all loadouts with you, had to learn it the hard way (6 horrors spending 9 combat phases on 5 liberators in cover just sucks) Other than 4 SC boxes you will need another 3 horrors/flayers to round up your summon
  13. Quite interesting thoughts, I already know when I'm going to use this... Thats the thing, all FEC returning abilities are currently written without reference that returning models have to belong to the unit they return to I actually don't have/can't find any counter arguments
  14. Well... more dice, more damage, more MWs, forget about rend Can you give us an example of what in particular makes you struggle with NHs?
  15. I REALLY don't want ANYTHING new for SCE this year (except maybe named characters for stormhosts other that HoS)
  16. Well, we can at least assume that based on this des commentary we can go any size, cuz if, you know, you start with 40 and you CAN go over starting size... Q: Most Flesh-eater Courts abilities only allow you to return slain models to a unit. However, this restriction does not apply to the Drawn to Battle ability of the Ghoul Patrol warscroll battalion. Can I use the ability to take a unit above its starting strength? A: Yes.
  17. You can also use Ghoul King of foot as allies for your GF's Death and summon ghouls with him
  18. I'd love to build TK army, but... They are in such a weird position, I can't count on them staying relevant for long so I'm not doing this investment
  19. You can avoid this only by self-restricting whille building your lists, so you can build a list with summoning that will be fair and fun to play with and against, but if you restrict summoning you make armies that don't use it stronger by default, for example - stormcast can steamroll pretty much any army that have summoning if you take it away from them, therefore restricting summoning does not do anything good for anybody.
