Next up are two more heroes for Cursed City, Dagnai Holdenstock and Glaurio van Alten. I also had the idea to take a few old Battlemasters halberdiers and make them into wind-up soldiers for Dagnai. Each has a key in his back cut from a greatsword pommel.

Oh man, that Militia box... I used to play a pirate-themed Dogs of War/Empire army that had more than a hundred of those guys. One of my all-time favorites, and a reason why I am excited to see the new Citis of Sigmar/Dawnbringers stuff.

This week I painted Emelda Braskov from Cursed City as well as an older Empire archer that might work as a halfling.

Now that my undead army is nearly finished (I might add the new Ghoul King and I still need to pick up Radukar the Beast), it's time to start working on the heroes. I was inspired to build a party of heroes around the ones from Cursed City so that I can have some great models for D&D as well. First up are the Dwarf Runelord and Warden King:

This past week I finished up Belladamma. The second wolf got its own base, too.

Well, I have finally finished a project that has taken months... I picked up Kritza the Rat Prince, but I thought it would be cool for him to have a retinue. I had the Skaven lying around from an old boxed set. I added Rattus, who is a Necromunda model with some new arms. The giant rat is from HeroQuest.

Cool looking models! There is growing talk of a Cities of Sigmar army coming soon, so perhaps that would work for the overall force?
