  1. Without a reduction to rockguts and fellwaters, the minor changes to the Troggboss are relatively useless. Dankholds needed a 50-60 point drop. Rockies and Fells needed -20 points to really help out the trolls.
  2. This doesn’t affect trolls at all. Rule doesn’t even apply to us.
  3. People just use the model in their armies because it looks cool to them. Taking her in your army sinks 20% of your battle force into one model. Nine times out out 10 she rolls a 1-3 for regeneration. Statistically, that makes no sense but I’m telling you, it happens every time. Most people just shoot her down, charge and kill her with a good unit, and then your left with a gaping hole in your battleline. Go with three Fungoids for your spellcasters and get those much needed extra command points.
  4. The Troggoth Hag is the great fool’s gold of most Troggoth armies. I play a very successful all Troggoth army and can tell you she is a huge point sink. You’re better off with a Trogboss and Mollog, 2 Trogbosses, or a Trogboss with two to three Fungoids. In almost every battle, the Troghag dies quick, never regenerates enough to save herself, and often dies from basic missile fire. You’re better off using 3 Fungoids for your magic users. They give you crucial command points on a 4+ and have a 4+ feel no pain save that keeps them from being easily sniped. Go to the “Dankhold” topic page on this website for the folks who play Trog armies. There’s plenty of great lists and ideas.
  5. Those trolls look awesome! You’re doing a great job.
  6. Love the Black with peach underbellies! That’s a great look!
  7. Lolol, now get that painted! It’ll look great!
  8. Base coat of the fang, dry brush of Russ grey, belly painting with Fenressian grey.
  9. I like the way you used static grass to do the conversions. People will love playing that army when it’s finished.
  10. This the best list I can create to include at least one regular Dankhold Troggoth in my Troggoth army.
  11. No toy soldier game is worth any of our lives. Use this time to build, paint, convert, etc. Let this thing burn through and then we can game again.
  12. I saw that battle report as well. Doom puts on a great show and his battle reports are always entertaining
  13. This is how easy it is to transport 2k+ of Troggoths.
  14. Prince V Lord on Zombie Dragon with Mist Form and Ethereal Amulet (General) 2@ 40 Skeletons The double zombie dragon list will crush almost anything you fight.
  15. Decided to go full Rockgut on steroids list. Pics show all of my Troggoth army models.
  16. Just buy two starters. It’s a great deal
  17. Tzeentch Daemons Eternal Conflagration Lord of Change Changecaster 3@ 6 Flamers of Tzeentch (Battleline) 4 Burning Chariots of Tzeentch Changehost Battalion 1990 total My super shooty killy list.
  18. The general on griffin can be such a beautiful model.
  19. Freeguild General on his Griffin. Four models down, nineteen to go.
  20. We have a saying in our group, “A.B.C.....Always Be Charging.” I pondered long about lances vs halberds. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that a demigryph unit was designed to be a charging “punch you in the face” unit. They’re not a unit designed to be a “ground and pound” unit. Strike, destroy, find a new target. While you can never fully defend against the counter charge, you want to ensure that what you do hit, dies! There are also some very tactical retreat and hold options with your chicken lord that can be very effective. Overall, my conclusion was to go with lances.
