Baron Klatz
Well they did move the prison which means more years of Chaos searching through hell and back to find it out there in the void(and thankfully away from Shadespire which wound up right next door to the sealed evil in a can). It feels like a lore lead-up to the Lumineth book so we can see this from Teclis' perspective and what happens afterwards. Just now, Nezzhil said: Am I the only one that think the result of the campaign was a clearly Katakros victory? - Bonefortress and the conquer of near territory. - The only one good general is Archaon in the Chaos forces. And because of that he is trapped in Eighpoints . - The destruction of the duardin Forge. - Slaneesh going to be hidden again. Yep. Archaon won the battle but lost the war. Chaos is made something of an underdog now because the Eight-points, despite it's critical gateway importance, is just a sub-realm that is horribly affected by events like the Necroquake and it's forces and powers are scattered to where the book points out how the chaos tribes and fiefdoms through the realms have been left isolated and are fending for themselves. The Warcry is still ongoing though and more tribes, warbands, monsters and champions keep gathering under his banner from across the realms. Bolstering the Eight-point's defenses and giving chaos more unique options to use from the magic and resources of each realm. It'll be interesting to see if they can make an effective push and go back on the offensive or if something like say a massive army of Gargants ticked off about their dead god-beast father decide to rampage in and cause more problems.
