  1. The Glotkin. What are everyone's thoughts on the dynamic trio? Not to poison the well but I think they are to swishy. There stats are great but some things can just kill a 20 wound model with a 4+ armor and a 5+ ward save. I feel they need more serviviblity: ten more wounds. Keep them distinct from the other Nurgle lords and Keep them at 700 points but with 30 wounds now all the Nurgle numbers are happy. Thoughts? feelings? Am I the only one worried that using this really cool model is making me a bit of a chump?
  2. Two from me: First is super bad to the point of it being sad: the Maggothlords cool model, not good rules they don't fight strong or do anything else interesting.... For me personally it's the also the Verminlords they just need more punch in combat they have great abilitys and spells but they are so weak in a fight it's surprising. Overall a lot of Monters hit far too soft.
  3. Is it just me or can Verminlords not fight good? Listening to the latest warhammer-weekly and Vince brought up that no monsters should not have damage 1 attacks. This has always been something I have thought was a problem with the Verminlords. Despite all there muscles and weapons as large as a Storcast (plaguereapers, punch-dagger and doomstar) or with the Doom-glaive warp stone infused terrifyingly destructive looking weapon the size of a tree they all hit like a wet noodle. It just doesn't feel right on the table that they have to run away from combat against fairly wimpy looking opposition. (even though skaven runing away is always a good option) The Utility of the models is great and they have over all have good spells, but they just cant take on a fight in combat and that has always urked me. The Corruptor can't on average kill a single ogre in a round of combat... to fix this I would do the following: +1 damage across the board to all weapon profiles (minus the tails) (would also change the plague reaper ability to proc 2 morals or 6's to hit) I know there are lots of monsters across the game that need this treatment also even more badly like the Cygor and Gorgan and the Maggoth riders. Hopefully the new Seraphon monsters are a sign of the future cuz they look much better to me. Am I crazy?
  4. Hello everyone, If you want some musical accompaniment to your hobby time this may due the trick in this group: (PSA there is a bit of rude language..) Could also use this as some theme music before a match like a prize fighter. I thought it was worth sharing with this fine group either way. Regards, Ratty

These look great! really like the baseing on the big stuff! what did you use to get that effect?
  8. Looks like the neck of a Vermilord-Decever wasn't able to skitterleap away from the business-end of this disgruntled gentlemans axe.
  9. Great Gors and Ungors a fine group indeed! but... the bright white background is making them a little hard to see... maybe a mid-tone grey or a black background would have been a better choice to set these models against? I bet if you did that they would look much better, the camera will be having a hard time getting the full range from very white to all the dark and scuttle detail you have there. My two cents anyway. Cheers, Ratty
  10. I saw this an wanted more. got a bit more by looking at your other posts but it was still not enough... Keep up the fun! Cheers, Ratty
  11. I was looking threw the New Warhammer 40K book and I noticed something that I thought people on this thread might find interesting. There are is a section on the book where they describe various major battles going on between Chaos and other forces where they talk a little bit about the events and have a little list of the players involved. In the list the Pestigor Legions are listed multiple times other things too like , Redhorn Bloodgors, SporeWalker-Colossal Beast and a Tentacled Behemoth-WarpMonster are all listed for in Korn, Nurgle and Slaanesh army's respectively. I would say this is a strong hint that both Nurgle and Korn are going to get Tzaangors equivelents and that there might be some big beastys also on the way, all of witch I would bet would be for both 40k and AOS. What do you guys think of that? If you have the new 40K rule book and want to look it up yourself look on pages 158-167 Cheers, Ratty
