    Agreed same here. The GHB killed off narrative mostly because the addition of matched play drew back the players who lack social skills to set up fun balanced narrative games. I'm hoping the WD skirmish rules get releases as a pdf download

    Stormcast because I've always been of fan of Paladin's in fantasy games. And they are (were) the closest thing in AOS

    I think GW needs to be less concerned about the number of times a model is used. Right now the prime is almost never used in a competitive list.

    I disagree it needs to be kept out of Ally Lists. That is a bad way of looking at it and will keep the Prime from being at the point level he should be at. So what if he gets added to order lists? I mean in the lore it could be that Sigmar sends the Prime to help his allies.

    I agree 110%. They must hate the Celestant Prime. At least drop his points to 200. Or make him worth his current point value. Maybe reduce bravery by 1 on all enemy units while prime is in the celestial realm. They are worried he is going to drop down and whup them.

    No still charge at 6" away. It's still a 50-50 shot to charging

    Agreed the a palladors need to be able to charge after ride like the wind

    I always take lightning blast. Low cast value, and the range makes it great. Plus it really fits the lore, summoning the storm to slam lightning down.

    Personally I prefer playing 1K games on larger board sizes, as you get more opportunity for movement .

    Yeah the odds are not great but I once had my drakeseer do 15 MW's at once with the spell. Nothing like seeing a horde unit just vanish when combined with battleshock! It's a fun spell.

    Great and informative post Thanks! I agree that early AoS warscrolls are very out of date and have been left behind, but yet GW does not update them when given the opportunity. Take the early stormcast units for example. The newest tome could have updated some of those old warscrolls but instead left them as is. This applies to any AoS 1.0 army that has had re-released tomes without updated warscrolls.

    What I don't get is the points on the Celestant Prime. Does GW just not like him?

    Disappointed by these point changes. (ok I agree with the Vanguard Pallador point change). Seriously the paladins needed more of a point drop and does GW really hate the Celeatant Prime that much they don't want him on the tables?? I really believe they dont want Stormcast to be highly competitive due to all the vocal minority complaining about them.

    Imo this whole cycle of hype sell hype sell was solved with AoS's original intent which was to focus on cool looking models that could be used in your army regardless of factions (ie grand alliances). See a cool model just buy and it and still be somewhat competitive.

    I've got zero interest in warcry, I'm happy with skirmish and 1k battles. With forbidden power sigh why is the campaign book so bad for it. They should go back to Realmgate wars style

    The stormcast nerfs are due to a very loud minority who just hate the stormcast, which sadly GW listened to
