  1. Very cool! Seems like he gave them hell (as a true Chaos player should)
  2. Yup. With device I meant everything else to Apple and vice versa.
  3. The worst part about the Azyr app is: you pay for it, yet it‘s always been buggy. you can‘t use a Battletome if you „only“ own the physical version, you have to buy the digital version as well. Digital books don‘t have a considerable discount compared to their physical equivalents. your purchase is bound to your google account / apple account, if you switch your device-system you lose all purchases
  4. The warden bases seem to be a little bigger though they‘re further away from the camera. Maybe this is the new 28mm base scale @Nighthaunt Noob usually models for such Previews are usually 3D prints, Masters etc. they‘re less stable than the final plastic minis. That‘s due to the wavy metal team working on them before the actual minis have finished the production (casting etc.) process.
  5. The sphiranx is solid. the crusher... I don’t know. He has the output of a ardboy with the Warchanter buff yet it costs way more. I guess one could make them work by abusing the MWs on the charge and You can make them deadly by positioning them right though. our army rarely has any points at all to spare so it‘s hard to fit them in
  6. Every allegiance should have access to varanguard of the circles. I mean are there any varanguard without a circle in the lore!?
  7. Welcome, welcome! If you could explain how you used your units we could help =} there‘s no static way to play, you have to adapt. thralls: imo you‘d rather play them in units of 10, threatening characters, monsters and smaller elite units while also taking objectives. eels: come in with a Tidecasters and aggressively kill a high priority target, then flee from combat to a unguarded onbejctive and charge again the turn after.
  8. A beige/ochre basecoat works best for gold.
  9. A lot of that comes from a lack unit choice. Yet I still sometimes like to take my Ghouls out for a feast day now and then (which usually ends with me getting a whopping since I am out of practice and therefor forgetting half their rules xD)
  10. I don‘t think being top tier should be the goal. The goal should be not to feel like playing with a handicap against most factions (or being forced to use Nurgle/Khorne) @The World Tree imo S2D should always get their mark buff (the first level of it) and benefit from the second level of it if there‘s a hero nearby. That way you could almost leave the pts costs unchanged. currently your mark counts for nothing if there‘s no hero nearby which restricts lists and forces you to pick one primary mark. this would make units more self reliant, point efficient and it would enable S2D armies to be played with a more varied mix of Marks. —- currently you pay double: you pay an increased price per units due to having access to a mark and then you have to buy a hero so you can use the mark, yet you have to stay wholly within 12“ to do so.
  11. That point in the AoS story made me roll my eyes hard. Whenever s.o. Needs to prove his power that person kills Nagash the ever dying. storywise from what we know about Archaon he shouldn‘t be able to fight a god. And there is a reason he never fought any god face to face (apart from Nagash but you don‘t k ow how much help Archaon had and Nagash didn‘t perish btw)
  12. It‘d be nice if IDK would at least receive one new unit and a boost in one if the next Campaign books.
  13. Archaon still is not a got. I am rather certain the story would be a short one if Archaon would face any god in person. So this won‘t happen. edit: he is just a good tactician with powerful equipment and a multi-Daemon Mount.
  14. Rather easily self made ^^ or you just make an excel sheet.
  15. I won‘t get it ^^ the lack of interesting S2D Subfactions was a gargantuan bummer.
  16. My Mammoth overkilled Alarielle by two recently (Khorne Mark and the General was close)
  17. It‘s called the internet ^^ you‘ll get push backs no matter what.
  18. You might be surprised what smaller studios can put out. Yet don‘t expect a AAA polish ^^
  19. As s.o. who is working in the games industry as developer and 3D Artist I can tell you why and it‘s not due to a lack of demand: RTS games are harder to monetize via microtransactions, since you have to put more work into creating a dlc content than you’d have into creating Skins. Games nowadays are all about microtransactions and therefor investors are less willing to put money into RTS games. Similar arguments have been made for single player role playing games, quote „not profitable“ - They‘ve been proven wrong by CD Project Red‘s incredible success of the witcher 3, which was beyond profitable without scammy cutouts of content or microtransactions. Learnings: These Genres are profitable but you can‘t simply produce 0815 ****** games of the genre while getting a lot of revenue due to microtransactions. They‘re just not the easiest way to make money since you actually have to produce a high quality game in a age where buggy alpha builds of shooter XY have become the standard (thx EA for ruining everything).
  20. We all knew Nurgle was the most potent one (along with Khorne), even after the nerf. Our units shouldn‘t costed like they‘d always be buffed up, especially when the buff is a gamble (Warshrine, spells). And yes Marauders are great, no argument, yet it‘s annoying that knights, warriors and cultists are utterly meh ^^
