  1. The new preview lists 27 Warscrolls, while Warscroll Builder has currently 29 Warscrolls listed having long since removed the Slaves to Darkness and Skaven scrolls to their own lists. In those 29 Warscrolls are 3 Forgeworld units - Exalted Greater Daemon, Plague Toads and Pox Riders of Nurgle. All of which will surely be removed like Bile Trolls and Plague Ogors and more in the past. So that makes 26, with the Feculent Gnarlmaw to add (not listed on Warscroll Builder) which makes 27. So it could be that everything is still there?
  2. A close up of the Battle Tactics tokens included in the new Nurgle Warscrolls pack.
  3. I do wonder if the Harbinger has gone if this rumour is true. His main bonus could now be a universal trait, and while his warscroll made him a useful hub of keywords and abilities his model is very old and small and finecast.
  4. I was referring to Slaangors which one poster DarthAnnüss praised the design of, and another ibel criticised the design of. I then said that there are two designs that relate to Slaangors (and all AoS miniatures). The physical model, and the unit warscroll which can be independently good, bad or indifferent. So you could love the model, but the warscroll is bad for example.
  5. I think there are two designs here. 1. Design of the miniature, which looks pretty good. 2. Design of the Warscroll, which looks pretty poor.
  6. Epidemius, Harbinger of Decay, Festus the Leechlord and Rotbringer Sorcerer are all currently Finecast. Epidemius has WH40K cross over so could be updated then. Harbinger is tiny and could have been a cool update with Priest rule, Festus is also small, while the Sorcerer is still a reasonable figure.
  7. No we don't really need new units, but I was hopeful of a few things. A Priest hero, which could give options using the new rules. A cheap Mortal unit to balance up against the other Chaos powers and mean you could build a Mortal only list with more variety. Endless spells, again to match the other Chaos powers all of whom have them. A new Sorcerer figure which for which the Finecast one is ok, and Fecula who is a good alternative to, isn't generating a lot of enthusiasm from me. So yes we have to wait and see on the new rules.
  8. This all seems quite 'minimum effort', one new miniature of a figure that least needed updating as Fecula exists. Other Finecast figures that might now be on the chopping block? No Endless Spells mentioned, no new unit either. Can only wait to see what the Battletome rules might bring...
  9. Perhaps the rear end of the Vampirate ship? Rumour
  10. That all seems reasonable, I really am waiting on seeing what Battletome is coming. I also wonder about any new miniatures added to the mix? I think the Daemon side is in good shape, while there are a few 'gaps' in the Mortal side which could be filled. I think Endless Spells must surely make an appearance, as Nurgle is the only Chaos faction that doesn't have any. I think a Priest Model/Warscroll will appear as Priests have been given extra abilities but don't appear in many armies. Perhaps a plastic version of Harbinger of Decay would work, but that is only speculation. Finally it would be nice to have some cheap/horde Mortals, like Pox Walkers, or Pestigors, but will have to wait and see.
  11. Perhaps they are rereleasing these warbands? Updated with new key words?
  12. Nurgle could swing either way, either a bare bones Battletome only, or a couple of replacement plastic for finecast or a couple of whole new units. Looking at other Chaos tomes it doesn't have any Endless Spells, so they seem likely. Then there seems to be a big push towards Priests in 3rd Ed, but not many actual models. So replacing the Harbinger of Decay who is tiny and finecast and making him a Priest would tick a lot of boxes - only speculation though. Could also have an Endless Invocation as part of above then? Finally a disposable/low point Mortal unit would be very nice, but the Army manages without at the moment. Possibly the AoS version of Poxwalkers, or Pestigors, or Cultists. Perhaps?
  13. Cool, looks like a great grand matron vampire. Face really shows it.
  14. The font size is very small which to my older eyes makes it hard to read in less than optimal lighting. I know they sell it on being all shiny and fancy but perhaps practical and legible should be higher priorities? Especially after the fact that the spiral binding makes it easier to use.
  15. It is, but I can't get a pdf download out of it.
  16. I am guessing that there will be Endless Spells, as the only Chaos faction without them they are surely due. A new Harbinger of Nurgle which will be a Priest as well. Seems to suit its background, and there has been additional rules for Priests but very few actual models with those rules. Epidemius is possible with overlap to 40K, Festus least likely? A new cheap Battleline unit. Possibly Pestigors to tie into the various chaotic faction beastmen, or perhaps something like Poxwalkers?
  17. That and any unit size changes related to Reinforcement, I have just been thinking about Chaos Spawn which normally help fill out an army at 50 points for 1, and unit can go up to 6 figures. But maybe will change to base size of 2 models - the number in the box?
  18. Could be waiting on at least two more beasts by the seems of that paragraph.
  19. No, you are right he cannot. Just the basic ones and his warscroll one.
  20. Its probably his wizarding abilities, two casts and two unbinds with bonuses to both. Then the option to swap spells in game and casting Dark Delusions. Casting Value 4. Pick an enemy unit wholly within 18" that is visible to the caster and roll 2d6. If the roll is EQUAL TO or GREATER THAN the target's bravery, attacks targeting them get +1 to hit. Maybe?
  21. Could it be a Slaves to Darkness Chaos Underworlds Warband that includes figures that would make a good Command Group for Age of Sigmar Chaos Warriors? Certainly horn blowers have been in previous warbands, but no standards as yet.
  22. The Lord of Blights grants Rend -1, which is quite unique in the Nurgle army. That along with the Rustfang magic weapon can really reduce enemy saves. You might also use the Deaths Heads shooting attack, but you might not. Depends who you are fighting - I play against Nighthaunt so they don't care about Rend.
  23. The stripes on the arm suggest that too. Plus would then make sense of the book.
