  1. I do not think they are meant to, the stream stated they have a bigger boss that they work for and a re kind of intermediaries for him/her/it. So I think they intentionally look separate.
  2. Why can't the weapon do both? Also if she used he armor as a weapon then yeah they would be blade by definition. In the end I try to be positive but if all you want to be in be negative and pick apart every word they print well power to you. Each to their own, try to enjoy the rest of your day anyway.
  3. what it does mean is any vamp model including the crimson court has a weapon that can be seen as soulbound blades
  4. blade /bleɪd/ noun 1. the flat cutting edge of a knife, saw, or other tool or weapon. Blade don't mean sword for what it is worth
  5. Those look like 4 blades to me on a club edit: it is also a club
  6. Signs that cursed city was written with 2 ed points in mind and the book with 3 ed? I see no reason otherwise to be different. I hope I am right, general points increase across AoS would be great.
  7. Blood knight with +1 save, hit and wound from a coven throne seems competitive at a glance, I am sure there will be stuff that can be done competitively when the tome is studied.
  8. Based on how thick/big the highlights look in the image I think it is not too big but it is just a guess, we will hopefully not have too long to wait this time! 🤞
  9. Could be, but Stormcast Judicators for example have their quiver at their waste so could still be leg
  10. That is thigh plate armor right? I do not think Ogor's wear that type of armor and it definitely is not Ogor style armor, to clean and simple, more human armor style imo.
  11. I think they said in an article it is 2 now as a base rule, So I think he is speculating there will be ways to add more.
  12. I may have missed something but where did they say faction battalions are going away? AFAIK they just said there will be generic battalions? I assume they will be in addition to faction ones.
  13. If the Hag disappears I was planning on replacing her with a Webspinner shaman on Arachnarok & Scrapskuttle’s Arachnacauldron with sneaky distraction spell and headdress of many eyes relic to give a -1 to hit bubble (and -1 for himself) But TBH its would 90% because of the rule of cool 😎
  14. Not sure if you think this because you feel it is a bad design, but I think it is based around the Japanese quiver. Though they are more open I believe If you search for some koshiya kumiyumi (japanese acher squad tactics) videos I think it gives an idea of the influence for the model.
  15. I really love the original model so have been holding out hope it would get a re release for a few years now (it happened for the skaven warpseer which was another model i always wanted) but that one does look decent so it is tempting
  16. I think the mixed weapons is fairly clear once you compare a few similar warscrolls. The questions of logic come up when you consider the recent change to what GW did to 'ardboys seems like a little backflip in their stance on simplifying units, though in saying that they did not do it to brutes 🤷‍♂️ The bigger concern i have is it seems that every warriors unit going forward atm should have one model with a shield to gain access to MW saves because of the wording, which i would hate to see as it clearly is not in the spirit of the rule and would look odd to me (i am mainly in the hobby for the looks of it) This will hopefully be updated to match the way shields work for 'ardboys in that if you use the save you have to allocate the wounds to the model with that save.
  17. Correct it is no longer made 😞 Rules still exist though, you can find them on the age of sigmar app and there is a PDF for FW models rules that includes it found somewhere on their website.
  18. I am thinking about a semi casual despoiler list I am keen to try out: - Be'lakor - Korne Daemon Prince general - Nurgle Daemon Prince - Sorcerer Lord Nurgle - 15 x Warriors Korne - 10 x Warriors Nurgle - 10 x Knights Korne - Slaughterbrute - Fomoroid crusher - Fomoroid crusher I like the potential of throwing a crusher up with the spell turn 1 towards the best piece of terrain the opponent deployed around and doing a bunch of MWs with his insurmountable strength ability. Would be situational and tough to pull off, so could not rely on it but the idea is just fun. The Nurgle warriors would be to hold back field with the sorcerer who would ideally give the knights reroll saves turn one then can give it to the warriors in later turns when they drop under 10 men. The 15 unit would move to objectives up the board and have the extra bodies so they can keep their own reroll saves for a few turns. The knights, brute, crushers and DPs would all head off as a group as much as possible or split up if needed with the korne units staying within the 18" of the DP as much as possible I may switch the nurgle mark around to something else as well, not 100% settled on that yet.
  19. Does anyone have any experience with irondrakes and Grundstok thunderers, first impressions is irondrakes are better but i am interest in opinions of anyone that has used either
  20. true, would have to tweek the list a bit for that at 2k. A concern with endless spells though is unless you go second in the next battle round your opponent will get to control it moving it out of range or even healing themselves with it, and RAW it is still empowered for them as well i believe. Edit: was wrong about what the lifeswarm could do
  21. I could easily drop the cogsmith to do so if i wanted, would just loose the benefit of the adjutant and healing the copters. I wanted bombers over copters due to being able to drop bombs every turn rather then just once. The hope/plane would be to have them eventually sitting behind the shieldwall then moving out and back again every movement phase doing up to 3D3 MWs plus their normal shooting on what ever gets to close to my front lines.
  22. nevermind it happens, especially when its new! My inital idea for a list would be: Batallion 1 120 General Griffin 1 320 Pistoleers 5 100 Pistoleers 5 100 Pistoleers 5 100 Hurricanum 1 220 Runelord 1 90 cogsmith 1 60 Gryobombers 3 210 Ironbreakers 20 260 Longbeards 10 110 Irondrakes 20 300 The idea would be to get the battalion and gyrobombers up and in the opponents face first turn while the rest of the army gets into position for the irondrakes to be able to fire effectively turn 2. Have the bombers pull back behind the lines for repairs if necessary (while dropping bombs on the way) and then move from there. Would not expect to be super competitive with this but it uses alot of models i like and would be alot of fun i think. My local scene plays 2500 for the big tournament of the year so i would also look to add in 30 hammerers and another 10 irondrakes or make all the pistoleers into 10 man units and put a battlemage on the hurricanum instead of the hammerers.
  23. Very nice however if the points i have seen are correct I think you are at 2110, did you only have one unit of longbeards maybe?
  24. Haha yeah i realize that couldn't be bothered figuring it out so just said 'up to 640mm' maybe you could squeeze it down to 550mm range
