The reason I'm thinking it would is bc the spell hellish vigour says "that unit doubles ITS move in the next movement phase". Setras ability says "the chosen unit can double the distance it CAN move and...." skeletons move 4 inches, cast spell, they now can move 8 inches in movement phase, Setras incantation doubles the 8 to 16. Am I reaching here? Just trying to get an alpha strike with a 40 man VDM Setra buffed skeleton unit... Is that to much to ask Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nico Posted January 24, 2017 Share Posted January 24, 2017 The VLoAT's ability does refer to the movement characteristic from memory. Hence, Settra's is slightly better. Hence for example. You can do the following: Hellish Vigour on Necropolis Knights - turns "Move" from 8 to 16. Mr Whippy adds an extra 3" to this - so 19. Then Settra doubles this move to 38. This is rarely if ever necessary, since Settra's buff doesn't work on the things you might want it to, e.g. a Mourngul. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
