Big Kim Woof-Woof
I took @Neil Arthur Hotep's advice to heart, and painted this overnight.... it does feel good to have accomplished something! It's not the best paint job I've ever done. But it ain't the best model ever sculpted, so that's fair! I do like the beastie he's using as a hat, though. Are you doing NMM techniques with metallics here? These old models are fun, but they really make you appreciate the sharpness that modern plastics have. I also managed to paint the rest of the Gnarlspirit pack: They are lightly kitbashed. I wanted them to represent Freeguild soldiers who got lost in Ghur and became tribal warriors because they got overwhelmed by the bestial spirit of the realm.

Roughly speaking, yeah. I don't have a fraction of the skill and patience required for real NMM.

I wanted to see how the highly saturated inks I was using interacted on a structured surface like fur. I was experimenting with wet on wet painting with these guys. But I also really just wanted them to evoke the feeling of colourful african or south american traditional clothes.

Painbringer
Ok, so two days ago I got Belthanos from a friend - and I built it immediately and started painting last night. I have already made a good progress and this is the first Sylvaneth model I'm painting after a long pause: 5

Stu_magoo
This month I finished rebasing my unit/s of dwarf hammerers and another unit that will eventually become warriors or ironbreakers. I also caught up with a mate who’s assembling a tomb kings army so I dug out a half finished samurai/skeleton cavalry kitbash project and finished putting those together. They’ll be Aprils paint project.

Asbestress
Didn't get as much done this month as I had hoped. 2 Steelhelms, a Steelhelm Herald and a Fusil-Major (without Warhulk for now) Didn't put much extra detail on the Major (since most of him will be hidden behind wood panels), although I did try to make his equipment look a bit less worn and a bit more fancy than the Steelhelm standard. Quite proud of his face as well I might try putting some blue markings on the shoulders to try to adhere to my plans for a hierarchy (mostly metal armour -> mostly white enamel -> mostly blue enamel), or maybe some gold bits from the transfer sheet. Apologies for the bad image quality on the Steelhelms, I still have to figure out a good way of making bearable looking group shots. Xil
Hi, here is my WiP Arch Revenant. It was a painful experience to paint her to this point. Lots of accidents happend which made me almost throw her in the trash can😅 Overall i can live with the result now. It's not as smooth as i would like it to be, but after what happened while painting (weird dry effect of contrast, layers peeling off, etc...) i think it's acceptable. Now some more work on the bark and green twigs, aswell basing 5
