  1. Those teefs on the first model gave me nightmares.... Honestly....yeetees and sabertusks also needs an update...and gorgers...that's quite a lot of ogres in need of an update when you think about it.
  2. You'll laugh a lot less when theses RE end up being Squats 😄 This Christmas calendar is fun and all and I'm happy aswell for Craftworlders(maybe Ynnaris?) and this release is a long overdue. But if it's all Eldar rumor engine I'll be a "little" disapointed...especially for AoS.
  3. Yeah...10% of the medium monthly wage in Poland for a year of suscription ... But it's still around 50ish euros/pounds. Not to defend GW executives or anything in this decision at all, but that's what Apple, streaming and gaming companies did. They tend to uniformize the prices between countries because the last thing they want is a british customer whose going to pay less than what he should with a polish/brazilian account. Again I'm not in favor of this buisness practice. Just saying that's not new and where it's coming from..and that it sucks for some of those countries because they forget the economic realities of those people who lives there just to stop a dozen. And let's be honest...Wh+ is not Disney+ or Netflix...there will not be that much suscribers compared to those, hence there will not be many people that'll do that kind of practice.
  4. I agree, the fact that they kept the Exodite was a welcoming surprise to me. But I was also disapointed that there was only Blacktalon announced for an AoS animation. Both facts made me wondered about creative freedom for Wh+ . Maybe most animators weren't as inspired by AoS as they were for 40k (can't blame AoS is still new) and that was not a call made by GW producers themselves...or maybe GW took what was already near release (on Youtube) before bringing in those animators and dictated others animations stories...
  5. Well it's easy for me: it's not available in my country so I'm forced to pass on it 😄. Also I tend to not jump on "pre-orders" and things like that since streaming service (and video games) have awful day 1 releases these days... That and the fact that WH+ may very well be "only english" with no subtitles and all (I can understand a fair lot of movies/series/documentaries/battle reports/etc but some accents are very difficult for me to understand as a non english speaker). I might add that I've always liked 40k too (but being more into AoS since 3 years) so the animations could have my interest and might make WH+ worth it for me. But if by 40k animations they'll do Space-Marines-bolter-****** (it's what they do over and over with the Black Library)...I'll pass forever. It makes me think of something..do animators have some sort of creative freedom when they make their short story ? I'm talking about the theme, because I'm sure they can't break the lore and do "Khorne the rainbow unicorn" or "Guilliman the train: a Pegi 6 dive into the Imperium". I remember that for the BL novels, they do mostly Space marines because Space marines sells, etc,etc you know the drill...It's not really up to the author if I remember it right. So I'm wondering if it'll end up the same for WH+ animations.
  6. I'm with you on all of this list (except Mancrusher because to me they are still okay), but an Era of the Beast could also bear a Seraphon range refresh too. Before AoS 3 they played a major part in Broken Realms and bringing Dracoliths back. They did more than Skaven and BoC lately (...well it's not unusual for BoC...everyone did more than them since...WHB 5th-6th ed. ?)
  7. Sounds a bit too real to be made up... bottom line is that we must stop Primaris Lieutenant from invading our cakes !
  8. Interesting story about the Seraphon. But if it turns out that Draconith are part of the Stormcast, to me it'll be a missed opportunity to update the Seraphon ranges(Celestial Seraphon with drakes and ancient technology/ Coalescent more savage with dinosaurs). Also I still don't understand the differences between Stardrakes, Dracoths, Draconiths, etc.. they all came from Dracothion or not ? When did they get their own ways ? AoS dragons' genealogy is a mess to me... Also also, Kragnos' people and Draconiths fought side by side against Dragon-Ogors ? Or did I misread this part ?
  9. We have a case of Schrödinger-gator...the worst type of gator.
  10. Maybe it's still easier to make RDP back as CP. OBR will have more than others but the command abilities will count CP and then we'll have to make some though decision since a unit can't have more than one command per phase. Also OBR could have their CP stolen which they could'nt with their RDP system. Anyway I'm eager to see how they will update OBR rules to fit 3.0.
  11. And how the bound Endless spell mechanic will work for them. Because right now mages can take control of any at their magic phase if they are in a control zone. And can be snatched by a ennemy wizard at their own phase. Maybe OBR will have a tweak that make their own endless spells not being able to be controled by enemy mages at the cost of -1 when bound ? Anyway OBR need to have some tweak or commentary when 3.0 launch because right now they are paying heavily to have been off rules in those areas in 2.0..
  12. I agree that some armies would be in a weird spot. I was thinking about SoB Mancrushers who would be at miminum at 2 and not at 1..and then at 4 instead of 2 with one reinforcement point. Or Dryads for Sylvaneth being in a unit of 16 by the box. Now you put it like that maybe it should be made case by case for each battleline I guess. At the same time I like the idea that Lumineths swordmasters, Blood knights, Melusai, being at base 5 feel truly elite. It will make them, without being reinforced, a support to your battleline or Heroes/Monsters. If you're more into making them your anvil/hammer then you must commit some ressources to make them your big unit and at the same time they became the number one target of your opponent. But that's just my view if that rumor is true about reinforcement. Anyway it will make a major impact.
  13. That change would be a great thing but at the same time many units' minimum size and rules should be revaluate. Someone said the minimum size should be the models you get in a box (like Soulblight skeletons should be 20 instead of 10) and I like that idea. It's simple and effective.
  14. Mmmh I might be dumb but the Rally ability let you return one dead model on a 6...but at full wound ? And there is no restriction in the description (maybe there will be in the book like "Monsters can't receive command abilities", etc.) so, right now, you can bring back a dead Mancrusher, healed of all wounds, in a unit of 3 if you roll a 6. A gambit but a powerful one. And even if Monsters can't benefit from it, Blood Knights could be the target too... Speaking of Blood Knights...with unit coherency and their 1" range, I think the best way to use them will be at minimum size unit. So 2×5 instead of 1×10...meaning more drops.
  15. I was thinking about this, for those who had read BR Kragnos. Did Kroak really took Dragons' eggs ? If it's the case, I can really see in the future of Seraphons that Coalescend (those living in the Mortal Realms) will keep the traditional dinosaurs, where the others (the star-seraphon) will became more draconic. All of that in one tome like Orruks Warclans, Mawtribes, etc.
  16. His "God of Earthquake" theme and rule has so much potential to be honest. Alas we're focusing on his charge rule since it's his major damage output.. I would have loved that he could create "real" earthquake instead like destroying terrain, halving movement of ennemy units, creating unpracticable gap for infantry and cavalry without Fly keyword. That table shapping would have been really good in Destruction and giving them a new mind game far from Magic and Command abilties that other allegiance got. Sons of Behemath already got some with the football terrain and it is great and fun (and sometimes effective).
  17. In the end, even if I'm not a soup guy...with a right paint scheme (and some furr/leather added eventually) the Ironjawz and Kruelboyz can mix well enough on the table I think...more than IJ with Bonesplitters.. Still I wonder what's the new beasts the KB will bring with them...wonderful perspectives indeed as they are now my favorite Destruction army.
  18. @Scythian I was not sold on taking more than 2 boxes of Blood knights but now, seeing you displaying them like that, I'm more than tempted to make a big vampire cavalry army..."curse you !" says my wallet 😆
  19. I hope they'll be like a units of vargheist as a unit of multiple of 3. We've seen weirder body counts in units (Dracoths anyone?). But the other issue could happen sadly knowing GW boxing.
  20. I don't know about this one. I agree with the Warstomper or Gatesmasher but the Krakeneater could have that "swamp thing" with the net and more bog on the base. Still they'll miss some crude armor plates/leather/furr to fit yeah. The troll mount has the same problem to me 😁 , even if he's gorgeous, as only the rider ties him into this allegiance.
  21. Reading the summary, I still think there was originally going to be 5 BR books but due to Third edition coming they cut some content and put the rest in this one: mainly the Alarielle bit. I don't know if it's good or bad in the end but this BR leaves us with major lore changes: -Alarielle built an Oak of Age 2.0 with an Yggdrasil vibes of sort (Athel Loren bis is not a thing to me since Ghyran is basicaly a realm-span Athel Loren already). -Grungni coming back. That's huge. But anticipated and now confirmed. Still funny to see a proud Dawi defending maybe the worst kind of Aelf at her trial like "Objection your honor !". -I want to know what the Godrrak-Kragnos duel looked like. -Seraphon got drakes' eggs ? Maybe they'll end up more draconic that dinosaurs in the long run of AoS ? (Could be really cool if they tied them to Dracothion now as their god like Sotek was in the World that was (I know Sotek is still a thing in AoS but I still can't see how and why)) - Morathi was on a trial ?! Like...the Mortal realms can put a God on trial ? It's ...interesting ? Ok the Celestant-Prime has the authority given by Sigmar and all but since the Pantheon is dead..Sigmar doesn't rule over the other gods so he has no authority over them...just an alliance. I don't get the trial thing. Maybe it's the summary that don't explain it well and by trial they mean just an argument between the Stormcast and Morathi weapons drawn ? A bit sad that Exelcis wasn't destroyed (like Glymmsforge in Shyish..they resist because "Order duh") and that Slaanesh plot was a bit shoehorned there. But the other plots are interesting for the future of the setting.
  22. Well I love everything I saw int his box and the Kruelboyz are amazing. I love that LotR-Henson vibes of them. They seems twisted and inherently evil instead of the goofy hulks we've seen a billion times in GW design. Love everything about them. But, sadly, what I feared came true as Kragnos don't fit in. Maybe with a good paint scheme it can do wonders but as it is now with GW official pictures it doesn't match to me. Kragnos in Kruelboyz is like putting Katakros as a leader of Gloomspite. He doesn't belong here... mmh yeah forget what I wrote about Katakros/Gloomspite as I just remember that goblins had already someone with intense charisma and a visible bulge leading them...
  23. I thought it was a given, maybe I misunderstood that. Wasn't it an info during the live reveal ? I can't remember.. Edit: Good catch on the fimir tail !
  24. Sadly I think that moutain is, given the lore of Kragnos, the Beastgrave. Were he was trapped by Kroak. I wish the new faction has a similar look (armor, fake-horns or whatever) to make him fit somewhere visually speaking. Because as much as I love the sculpt...I don't think he's fitting in any Destruction army right now (maybe Ogors ?...)
  25. I still don't know what to choose between zombies or skeletons (I ended up preordering none of them). Both have their benefits I know but I like the idea, even if I hate zombies, of making a horde of undead running to the ennemy lines...being wiped out..letting the big units (BK and Vengorians) killing stuff and making the Zombies come back from the Gravesite behind them... Also, trick question but do Direwolves benefits from the rules affecting Dreadwalkers since they have the keyword on their scroll ?Meaning the -1 to morale, bonus from Vyrkos dynasty, coming back from Gravesite ?
