  1. I think irondrakes will have the same issues they always had. They're just too slow. The bridge can't port around an entire army anymore. Maybe a unit with a bridge supporting cavalry? I think cavalry is the winner in CoS. They perform well in MSU
  2. teclis remains a nexus of bad feels literally existing to tell your opponent "no you can't do that"
  3. I don't think the top lumineth lists are going to change that much. That means a couple big blocks of sentinels, teclis, character support, and as few wardens as you can get away with.
  4. Again, this really only matters for units that would be taken competetively anyways. Teclis i think is the biggest example of relevant points increases, but the new edition seems almost catered around him, so he deserved it.
  5. Lumineth are roughly as good as they used to be. Seraphon are goinbg to be sitting at the top for some time still
  6. Average point increases are less important then point increases on units that were actually playable. Like, in actuality, slaangors could go to 10000000 points a model and it doesn't really matter because slaangors were already so bad no one was bothering. The issue with slaanesh is that the points hikes seem targeted at their playable units to make them less playable. As for tzeentch, just think about how annoying 30 pink horrors are going to be.
  7. Teclis personally turns off most of the interactivity they are trying to add to the game by himself.
  8. It won't lose nearly that much because it's dropping the battalion it used to take. The net loss in much lower.
  9. they really didn't. Having to change up how you play to find the power isn't a nerf to an army, just to the way you play them
  10. I think the healing is worth 5 points per three, so, probably no saving.
  11. they nerfed hordes but boosted 150 dollar centerpieces.
  12. that they applied an algorithm to points increases and didn't spare slaanesh from it
  13. XD I hope you continue doing things like this for the new PtG. It's pretty bare bones and is clear it is wanting battletomes for real flavor.
  14. XD Witch elves are not, uh, feminism/lgbt friendly, leaning as hard as they do into negative tropes of women as temptress and manipulator and a lot of people who have hesitancy collecting them do so because of how much cheesecake they perceive in the army.
  15. No unit exists in a vaccum and they all live and die on their buffs and supports
  16. considering teclis sentinel list regularly performs... eh... no. You analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the faction is wrong
  17. A bunch warbled on about 40k's tournament points changing. They're still 2k. I will believe the standard game size changes when it actually happens. But GW is clearly still invested in 2k
  18. 1500 is… not going to be the mainstream. 2k is where the game’s bread is buttered
  19. But it looks to be doubling down on the OP things for LRL. Boosting sentinels to 30 from 20 is great for command efficiency. Teclis was already quite hard a model to kill, and now heals 4 wounds a turn, so if you aren't set up to take him out fast, you simply are never killing him. MSU boosts teclis' magical nuke. It also boosts his ability to force opponents to double the cost for command abilities, which hardcore screws a lot of armies now that command points go away and are such a big deal. Everything is, obviously, pending points costs, but the head rules dude for AoS also really really likes elves. That said, you don't have to make LRL OP. It's not like 2.0 seraphon where you can oopsie into OP builds by just throwing units together, LRL require a bit of thought behind the list making process. If you avoid teclis and a few other units, you'll probably be fine.
  20. Cities shooting lived on the mass stacking of buffs. Which is no longer a thing. It's gotten worse for most cities units.
  21. I think people are underestimating how strong hero monsters are right now. Like, they are now immune to chip damage. You kill/cripple one a turn, or you don't kill them at all. They're all healing an average of 4 wounds a turn without bespoke healing, which a bunch already have.
  22. and possible movement downgrades. I think people are going "Oh we will just use all the command points ever" When KO are probably going to get 2 a turn.
  23. As a KO player, annoyance that we are back in the nebulous space of "What does fly high actually do? What can you disengage from with it? Can it be used?" GW keeps using like paragraphs where we need like 2 lines to make things clear.
  24. yep. It's a nail biting change pending FAQ to clarify it
