  1. CSM seems to be an issue behind the scenes rather than a conscious decision on GW's part to hold them back. They have pretty much never released a new Codex/Battletome and had a model release delay except when something's gone wrong in production/delivery. My guess is they'll end up thrown in 'as soon as they're ready' even if that means double-teaming with another major release like the Lumineth vs Tzeentch box.
  2. Kill-Team '21 was... Octarius, Chalnath, Nachmund, Moroch, with Into The Dark kicking off a new season whenever that launches. So we'll probably have six more warbands we've not seen, then this time next year we'll know what 'next season's first warbands are. Presumably they'll have White Dwarf bespoke teams that replace the existing, non-<Cultist> ones from first edition but they won't get new models.
  3. It's pretty much just following the Kill-Team pattern. They've been doing the same for the last year, although other than Octarius (and Into The Dark) it's been Unique Team + Upgrade Sprue Team rather than both being unique, so Warcry is an improvement in that respect. The Kill-Team: Moroch terrain was actually sold separately before the Moroch box was announced. They naturally upset a lot of people who'd bought said terrain immediately, only for it to be a good bit cheaper in the KT box a few weeks later. The Kill-Teams themselves usually get released separately at some point on, or shortly after, the next boxset lands, but a lot of people are only interested in the models so it's easy to find the terrain for about half the price of the boxset on Ebay.
  4. In my mind that pretty much confirms one set of terrain will be 'The Wrydlights/Tzeentch' themed then, given the Rumour Engine we've seen.
  5. I think it's clear something has gone wrong behind the scenes when it comes to the CSM releases. GW have historically always tied new miniature release waves to their Codex/Army Book/Battletome. There's been rumblings that GW is having product issues again, which may be why nothing but the Codex and peripherals have released yet, as well as a lot of the plastic 30k kits they've had unveiled for months now still being missing. Pretty much every new 30k box that's not the big boxset are Temporarily Unavailable Online as soon as they go back in stock. My guess is they'll want to get the CSM stuff out of the door ASAP and if that means a giant 'double booked' week they'll probably bite the bullet and do it just so the rest of the schedule doesn't go completely out of whack.
  6. Blood Bowl and Kill-Team had one, so I could see it.
  7. If they follow the Kill-Team model it'll be a 100% new kit and an 'upgrade sprue' for an existing kit. However since AoS units tend to have far less options, it could also be x2 new kits. Wyrdlights could be where the vaguely Tzeentch terrain piece fits in?
  8. I think it's Stormcast. A lot of their iconography is a skull/helmet with lots of those tiny spikes around it. Plus it would fit with them being so close to the CoS/Dawnbringer position which is also a skull. That, and the posterboys going without a bespoke warband would be a bit odd. Ossiarchs usually use beetles, vaguely Egyptian shapes or the Centurion-esq helmet crest.
  9. What's weird is Fyreslayers received a special character in the form of Bael-Grimnir via White Dwarf. It was a Prince Vhordrai situation where they just handwaved away the existing Runefather On Magmadroth as him, but it's funny how he didn't make the cut into the new Battletome but Vhordrai did.
  10. New Rumour Engine. Between the bird hieroglyph and the symbol looking very Tzeentch like, I'd guess a terrain piece for Disciples of Tzeentch or part of a base? Their text might also hint at it.
  11. I'd assume Throgg is dead and buried, given his connection to WoC and his model no longer being sold even with a rename. If we saw a Troggoth special character they'd presumably be an original, AoS-only character with no real connection beyond maybe some design nods.
  12. Yet more Fyreslayer erasure in their artwork.
  13. Something like the K'daai for Fyreslayers. Whilst Fyreslayers arguably don't need yet another infantry unit, Warcry is obviously a game about infantry units fighting other infantry units, and a more unique Fyreslayer infantry unit is better than nothing at all (hello Shadowstalkers). I know in Fantasy they were a Chaos Dwarf unit, but ultimately I don't think it's unreasonable for Fyreslayers to get a unit that really emphasises the fire fyre side of things. Particularly when their models already incorporate a few nods to the Fantasy Chorfs. Obviously the lore would be different (no Daemons here).
  14. People like Witch Hunters, plus it's one of the more iconically 'Warhammer' concepts. None would doubt Crimson Court sold like hotcakes despite being 'bland, overused Vampire tropes'.
  15. I'd have said it's inevitable Chaos Dwarf are coming, but then again we've gone 7 years of Malekith/Malerion hints and nothing has come of it. Ironically I do think we'll see Chorfs before Shadow Elves. There's several design cues already established with the Hobgrots and Horns of Hashut, plus GW seem to be leaning very strongly on the 'nostalgia factor' with their more recent releases. The Horns of Hashut might also be a good hint of how they fit into the Era of the Beast. There's been a lot of emphasis on Ghur's dangerous wilderness, how deadly the environment is, the explosion of Life magic making it untamed and constantly growing. The Warcry lore talks about how Hashut wants the opposite of that - lifeless, barren, scorched earth. It's such a stark contrast that I wouldn't be shocked if we saw a Season of War which themes itself around fighting in such regions, tied around the release of the Chorfs.
  16. Yes. If it's plastic they just still it via the GW store, even if it's a 'FW-led' game.
  17. The Goliath Berserker is £28.50 and he's about the same size as the Ambots. The Cawdor Stig-shambler is £33.50. I'm guessing he'll be around that £30ish price range.
  18. Kill-Team 2021's pre-order was in August, so the timing checks out.
  19. It is a bit odd that a specifically Hashut-themed warband don't have a single Chorf despite them popping up in two other human-tied warbands. At the very least I'd have expected a Chorf leader, even if he's surrounded by 'lesser human' underlings.
  20. 40k Daemon rules started leaking out, so I'd guess they'll show off the codex art and maybe announce a 40k Battle Box. Daemons of the Ruinstorm are also supposed to be getting their 30k PDF at some point, so it may be that if Ka'bandha is releasing.
  21. I think Underworld's most popular warband ever just arrived.
  22. They're being vague about whether or not it's a new edition. They're saying it's not reinventing the wheel, but the rules have been updated. Take that as you will.
