  1. There is an FAQ regarding Eternal Guard (old rule) and similar abilities (such as SotW, Irondrakes etc.) stating that a "set up" (deep strike) is not a move, so they count as standing still.
  2. I have more. I had a pure Wanderers list I ran last tournament Yeah, either Kurnoths with Swords or Bows (if they really have to camp a far-off objective or so), a Treelord or 20 Dryads. Another option would be to go for Drycha or a Spirit Durthu (or both ) or a Dreadlord on Black Dragon. Another option is to add a Hurricanum with Battlemage instead of the sorceress and drop it with the sisters to serve as a forward caster to keep the Phoenix buffed. Or more sisters! 😁 I could make a list with 2x30, a monster or two, 3x10 darkshards and some support. (nomad prince or battlemage, or if one less monster, both)
  3. Hey Everyone! With the models at my disposal, I can make the following list: The plan is to have the Phoenix and Alarielle tag team the main enemy force, the battleline units to chase objectives and cover the wizards on foot and the SotW to deep strike and be a thorn in the enemy's side. Alarielle's summons can of course be used for either offense or objective holding. Any thoughts?
  4. I seriously doubt that to be honest. They will probably divide the city allegiances the same way they did in Firestorm, possibly with the exception of some factions being merged. So I doubt that you'll be able to field Wanderers within a Tempest's Eye or Phoenicium allegiance for instance. (except possibly as allies of course)
  5. The Difference being, of course, that in this case, the character will have the chalice of Nectar which makes casting significantly more reliable. Throne of vines is of little use on a Branchwraith in this case, unless no more woods are needed, in which case it can be used to make the summoning even less likely to fail. It also increases the range of the summoning by 6", right? For 40 points that could be nice. Then there could be a plan B use for it, making a Wychbomb in case of an MSU army.
  6. Drycha is indeed a beast. I have had her dishing out about 10+ damage per shooting phase without issue. Then again, I tried running Gnarlroot, giving her re-rolls of 1, fishing for even more 6:s. Along with Alarielle and Durthu / TLA / 3 Kurnoth Bows you generally have enough firepower to take out a monster per turn.
  7. Hey guys! I have most of my list figured out for an upcoming tournament, and I'd love some feedback on it. So I have a few options for the remaining 350 points. Option 1: Sprit of Durthu with an artefact of choice, such as Greenglade Gladius, Ghyrstrike, Thermalrider Cloak or Ethereal Amulet Option 2: More spite revenants (20 + 20 + 5 instead) and a Treelord. And give the Vesperal Gem to the Branchwych for auto-heals of d6+d3. Option 3: 5 more spite revenants (20+10+5), a Treelord and another Branchwraith who will be general instead. Then I can give the Branchwych throne of vines and combo it with Balewind Vortex for an increasingly powerful Wychbomb (more of a gimmick I suppose?) Option 4: Something else, like more endless spells? A cool thing that I noticed about the Balewind Vortex is that you can summon it inside the Awakened Wyldwood and it won't be dispellable by your opponent (dispelling requires line of sight) So it will let me use the Chalice to cast two spells on the Branchwraith (Verdant Blessing and the summoning for instance) Thoughts?
