  1. Mmmm I can't read it properly but I think Read the winds ability makes some sort of refference to Aether storm at the end of the paragraph 🤔 Edit: Actually I have managed to decipher it: you cannot use Read the winds in the same turn you use aether storm
  2. Actually I think that getting endless spells for kharadron would have been felt a little bit forced "to be like the other super cool magic armies yey"
  3. There's something pretty interesting on the warscroll cards' markers. There are multiple tokens of "1 Aether-gold part" which seems to follow the mechanics that previous armies are following
  4. So, what do you think new endless spells will do? I bet the book improves our casting rolls or so
  5. I would love being able to use flamers, chariots, screamers, kairic acolytes, etc without the feel of wasting points. I don't run a changehost because I don't want to buy and paint thousands of horrors while we have a lot more of choices in the faction (althought they are not really competitive.). That's what I'm mainly hoping for.
  6. I would definitely love a battlebox of Tzeentch vs Kharadron Overlords on Chamon with their respective renovations.
  7. The rule says that a unit that carries chaos runeshields can save mortal wounds. First you calculate the damage, next you allocate wounds, so you don't have to kill shield guys (althought you can)
  8. That's completely incorrect in aos, you choose always which miniature you remove wherever the damage comes from.
  9. It would be awesome that pink horrors could produce blue horrors without needing Disciples of Tzeentch alliegance for rituals purposes. Maybe the most adequate unit for being sacrifice is the snake boys that can create 1 snake every turn. Anyway, getting +1/+2/+3 almost secures you each spell you try, and althought it's true that the lore of the damned hasn't any outstanding spells (maybe the one that makes enemy fighting last), magic heroes have pretty decent spells that you would want to ensure.
  10. I've thought a full tzeentchian std list. I know that battalion is not the best, but allows you to deploy one drop and gives you another spell. Of course the damned legion I've chosen is Cabalists. The tactic is deploying first turn a 10 pink horror unit with the gaunt, and use it as sacrifice for rituals. That way you get each turn +1/+2/+3 for casting rolls, which almost ensures you having success on every spell, and while horrors are alive you get 6 spells at turn. If pink horrors are summoned this way, would they get an extra spell from the lore of the damned? It sucks that you cannot summon blue horrors if you are STD alliegance, but whatever. I'm not sure which artefacts would combine better with this list, I'll have to think about that
  11. Yeah, 3 enlightened help a lot in terms of security, but the curseling can be really good dispelling and that extra 2 spells to the list gives much more summoning options to the list. Probably it's a matter of personal choice 🤣
  12. I've been thinking on something like this: Allegiance: TzeentchMortal Realm: ChamonLeadersGaunt Summoner (160)- General- Trait: Arcane Sacrifice- Artefact: Paradoxical Shield- Lore of Change: Fold RealityTzaangor Shaman (160)- Lore of Fate: Shield of FateCurseling, Eye of Tzeentch (160)- Artefact: Alchemical Chain- Lore of Fate: Arcane SuggestionGreat-Bray Shaman (100)- AlliesBattleline30 x Tzaangors (480)10 x Pink Horrors of Tzeentch (180)- Lore of Change: Bolt of Tzeentch5 x Chaos Warriors (90)- Hand Weapon & ShieldUnits3 x Tzaangor Skyfires (200)6 x Tzaangor Enlightened on Disc (320)BattalionsTzaangor Coven (110)Endless Spells / Terrain / CPsBalewind Vortex (40)Total: 2000 / 2000Extra Command Points: 1Allies: 100 / 400Wounds: 137 The idea is simple, big blob of Tzaangors with Tzaangor Coven. As the bases are 32mm, it's hard to pile in everything, so maybe deploying them in 2 large lines would be interesting. They are supported by skyfires with a shaman with shield of fate for the blob. Of course enlightened can't miss the party, so there is the principal damege output. There's also a great-bray shaman for speeding up tzaangors and attracting enemy units to them, and a curseling with alchemical chain (+1 spell to unbind) and arcane suggestion for making enemies dizzy. Of course backline there's the gaunt summoner surounded with pinks for classical arcane sacrifice+balewind vortex, and 5 chaos warriors for objetives purposes. What do you think?
  13. Do you think it's worth taking 30 tzaangors nowadays? And 2 units of 20? I'd like to have a complement to enlightened appart from skyfires, and extra bodies give me somehow more security.
  14. It hasn't been FAQ so... RAW yeah, you can. I think most here does what you say as there's nothing that says you may not.
  15. I was thinking on the painting scheme and a terracotta/clay theme would be great with a brown-red tone. I'll have to think what paints I'll need to use for that 🤔
  16. I don't think they will be a horde type army. I think it will be just like tzaangors or fyreslayers that one unit of 30-40 guys do the work. I say it beacause it would be really strange if they were purely elite having a spear option at the same time (which in most cases it is a horde weapon)
  17. "Necropolis Stalkers, for instance, are infused with the souls of four legendary warriors apiece, giving them the ability to shift personalities mid-battle in order to change their fighting style. " I also noticed this, which is clearly a hint of their rules. They insist in the article on Katakros being the best strategist of the mortal realms, so maybe he has some rules like multiple command abilities or so...
  18. That's what I thought but then, on the trailer, it looks like you can build them with spears which is a typical horde weapon 😵
  19. What about the rules? What do you thing these bad boys would do? The infantry they've shown up looks like elite forces, but they still have models to show so maybe we haven't seen the cheaper battlelines ¿? In rules terms I'm really wondering what they could do. Maybe something about killing enemies, using their bones and deploying new units, but that's pretty much the same that khorne does with blood tithe points. Reviving spells would be a little repetitive as fec and nighthaunt alrealdy do that.
  20. I've to say that to me has happened the opposite. I was like meh expecting more classical skeletons and kinda uninterested, but these designs have surprised me. I like when things go out of the "normal fantasy way", so for me are way out interesting and maybe I buy them 🤔
