  1. The Warriors of Chaos Compendium contains the Chaos Dragon Warscroll which is perfectly valid to use in a GA Chaos army. https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Compendiums/warhammer-aos-warriors-of-chaos-en.pdf
  2. The Warscroll Builder currently handles Tzaangors as being Battleline only in Beasts of Chaos armies when a Tzaangor Shaman is the General and in other Chaos armies they are no Battleline any more. According to the Beasts of Chaos Battletome that doesn't correspond to the wording used there. It's different to the other "X is Battleline when Y is General" conditions. The role Battleline is printed there. So I read it like Tzaangors are Battleline for all armies they can be used in (like Disciples of Tzeentch or GA Chaos), but for Beasts of Chaos the condition "General is a Tzaangor Shaman" has to be met for them to become Battleline. The exact wording is: "Battlefield Role: Battleline. Battleline in Beasts of Chaos army only if general is a Tzaangor Shaman" Others have for example: Battlefield Role: (not mentioned). Battleline in Beasts of Chaos army if general is a Doombull"
  3. The Dark Elves were removed for example. I am talking about allegiances not factions. Of course you can still select models from these factions.
  4. The Thunderscorn and Warherd allegiances are still in the Warscroll Builder but are no longer valid as they don't have Battlelines any more. You could remove them. Bullgors are no longer battleline for Warherd and Dragon Ogors are no longer battleline for Thunderscorn. Both are now only battleline for Beasts of Chaos when the appropriate general is selected.
  5. Wrong. The keywords the models have don't matter. The only important thing is the allegiance the battalion has. It's easy: You choose to add a battalion to your army and check for the battalion's allegiance. There are three possible cases: 1 The battalion has the same allegiance than your army. You can take the battalion and the units within don't count as allies regardless what keywords they may have. 2 The battalion has a different allegiance than your army, but your army is allowed to ally with this allegiance. You can take the battalion but the battalion itself and all units within are counted as allies regardless what keywords they may have. 3 The battalion has a different allegiance than your army and your army isn't allowed to ally with this allegiance. You can't take the battalion at all. Looking at the battalions in the Beasts of Chaos Battletome then 1 is the case when you have a Beasts of Chaos or Grand Alliance Chaos army (as all battalions count as having the allegiance of their grand alliance). 2 is the case for Everchosen as they are allowed to ally with any Chaos faction. 3 is the case for all other armies.
  6. That's completely wrong. The Beasts of Chaos units don't have the KHORNE keyword on their warscroll and don't have the option to choose it. The Slaves to Darkness units have that option on their warscroll. The battalion that gives the KHORNE keyword to Beasts of Chaos units doesn't have the Khorne allegiance itself, but has the Beasts of Chaos allegiance instead. As Beasts of Chaos are currently no valid option als allies for Blades of Khorne your are not allowed at all to include the battalion in a Blades of Khorne army, not even as allies. Currently the battalion is only allowed in Beasts of Chaos, Everchosen (as allies) and Grand Alliance Chaos armies at the moment unless there will be a FAQ that says otherwise. All units in a battalion count as having the allegiance the battailion has regardless which keywords they have themselves.
  7. I am currently furnishing my new gaming room which will contain 6 large display cabinets and a gaming table. I hope everything will fit in there. Bretonnia is my favourite army. I own every single model that has ever been released by GW.
  8. I already uploaded pictures of every model and unit I have on my website: http://www.miniaturenarchiv.de/page.php?1554 The page itself is in German, but there are mainly pictures to view.
  9. I have all Age of Sigmar factions which are currently about 232,000 points of models according to GHB 2018: Fist of the Everchosen 36000 Everchosen 21000 Daemons of Chaos 15000 Slaves to Darkness 13000 Disciples of Tzeentch 10000 Beasts of Chaos 8100 Blades of Khorne 6900 Maggotkin of Nurgle 6700 Skaven 4000 Monsters of Chaos 3300 Hosts of Slaanesh 3100 Brayherds 2600 Warherds 1400 Masterclan 1300 Clan Skryre 1200 Clan Verminus 1200 Chaos Gargants 1100 Warriors of Chaos 900 Clan Moulder 800 Clan Eshin 500 Clan Pestilens 400 Thunderscorn 400 Legion of Azgorh 200 Grand Alliance Chaos (total) 51000 Grand Host of Nagash 17000 Legion of Blood 16000 Legion of Night 16000 Legion of Sacrament 16000 The Wraith Fleet 14000 Tomb Kings 12000 Soulblight 5900 Flesh-Eater Courts 5600 Nighthaunt 4400 Deathrattle 3200 Deathlords 2400 Deathmages 1300 Deadwalkers 600 Vampire Counts 400 Grand Alliance Death (total) 35000 Stoneklaw's Gutstompas 17000 Greenskinz 4900 Gutbusters 4700 Moonclan Grots 4100 Monsters of Destruction 3600 Ironjawz 3200 Beastclaw Raiders 2200 Spiderfang Grots 1500 Aleguzzler Gargants 1300 Gitmob Grots 1200 Maneaters 1200 Bonesplitterz 800 Troggoths 500 Firebellies 100 Ogre Kingdoms 100 Orcs & Goblins 100 Grand Alliance Destruction (total) 29000 All Aelves 38000 Bretonnia 29000 All Duardin 13000 Sylvaneth 7700 Free Peoples 6600 Seraphon 6100 Empire 5300 Swifthawk Agents 5300 Eldritch Council 5100 Darkling Covens 4900 Collegiate Arcane 4800 Dispossessed 4800 Wood Elves 4800 Order Draconis 4200 Stormcast Eternals 4000 Ironweld Arsenal 3700 Wanderers 3100 Dark Elves 2800 Kharadron Overlords 2700 Order Serpentis 2400 High Elves 2300 Dwarfs 2200 Daughters of Khaine 2100 Phoenix Temple 1800 Devoted of Sigmar 1400 Fyreslayers 1400 Shadowblades 1200 Lion Rangers 900 Lizardmen 700 Scourge Privateers 500 Monsters of Order 400 Idoneth Deepkin 100 Great Cities: Hammerhal 109000 Hallowheart 30000 Tempest's Eye 29000 Anvilgard 25000 Greywater Fastness 25000 The Living City 25000 The Phoenicium 17000 Grand Alliance Order (total) 116000
  10. Then that applies to the Dread Saurian as well. I just finished some calculations: The Dread Saurian has a chance of 23.056 % to kill the King in one round when he attacks first. Vice versa the King has a chance of 23.102 % to kill the Dread Saurian in one round when he attacks first. So both have about the same chance to insta-kill each other and are about equal in points. So I really don't see a problem. I just had luck in this case as my chance was only about 23%. I think my calculations are correct as I studied mathematics.
  11. I don't think the King as I used him is too strong. Please notice that the King is limited to one model in your army, only one model (your General) can have the command trait Virtue of Heroism and you can only give the artifact Ghyrstrike to one Hero. Further he's only good against Heroes and Monsters, against regular troops you can expect him to do less than half of that damage. The King costs 380 points, the Dread Saurian is at 420 points and does about the same damage against everyone, not just Heroes and Monsters. It could easily kill the King when it gets to attack first.
  12. Well, actually the King killed the Dread Saurian in a single round (the second round). He only needed two rounds to charge it. As I already mentioned the King had the command trait Virtue of Heroism (+1 damage against HEROES and MONSTERS) and the artifact Ghyrstrike (+1 to hit and +1 to wound). Additionally the Sword of the King rule grants him rerolls for failed hit rolls against HEROES and MONSTERS and +1 to damage and wound rolls on the charge against them. So he hit the Dread Saurian on the charge on 2+ (rerolling fails) and also wounded on 2+ doing D3+2 damage with each attack. All 6 attacks were successful. So the Dread Saurian had to do 6 save rolls at 4+ (because of Rend -1 of the King's Sword). He failed 4 out of 6 saves and thus the King did 4D3+8 damage which resulted in 17 wounds in total. So I didn't even need to roll for the hippogryph's attacks. As I expected one or more monsters in the SERAPHON army I customized the King to be the best monster hunter as possible.
  13. I had a game yesterday using the Breton rules from the v0.4.1 PDF. My army list: Allegiance: Breton - Mortal Realm: Ghyran Leaders (2/4) Host King of Breton 380 - General - Trait: Virtue of Heroism - Artefact: Ghyrstrike Marshal on Pegasus 140 - Artefact: Jadewound Thorn Battleline (2/2) 3 x Pegasus Host Knights 160 3 x Pegasus Host Knights 160 Battalions Royal Air Force 140 Total: 980/1000 Extra Command Points: 1 Favour Tokens: 3 Wounds: 35 My opponent's list: Allegiance: Seraphon - Mortal Realm: Ghur Leaders (1/4) Slann Starmaster (260) - General - Command Trait: Great Rememberer - Artefact: Incandescent Rectrices Battleline (2/2) 20 x Skinks (120) - Boltspitters & Moonstone Clubs 20 x Saurus Warriors (200) - Clubs Behemoths (1/2) Dread Saurian (420) Total: 1000/1000 Extra Command Points: 0 Wounds: 63 The army was really nice to play. After choosing the models I realized that my whole army was only 8 models and looked quite small on the battlefield. We played the battleplan "First Blood" from the core rules. It ended up with a major victory for me after battle round 5. I only lost 2 Pegasus Knights and the Marshal, but killed my opponent's whole army. My King had no problem killing the Dread Saurian in battle round 2, but the Slann was hard to get, but I managed to kill him battle round 4. He was really annoying as he used Celestial Conjuration to summon new Seraphon units each turn. During the battle he summoned two Salamanders, one unit of Skink Handlers and a unit of Saurus Knights on the battlefield and was able to teleport two of his units each turn. My units are very fast so I was able to counter this most of the time.
  14. Thanks for the fast reply! Looking at the Blessed Lake I think it is too strong as it is now. It's only 100 points and it has the potential to summon a 200 point Sons of Breton unit each turn! I think the Lake is strong enough even without granting this summon spell ability. It would also be possible to place the Lake somewhere in the center of the battlefield depending on where you setup the corresponding handmaiden. So please consider that the Lake's improved protection could easily cover most of your army. About the Handmaiden on Pegasus: I just placed a regular mounted Damsel model on a regular Pegasus so I don't see any issues with that:
  15. First, I really appreciate the good work that you did so far! Here are some suggestions/comments/questions I have: Battle Pilgrims should become Battleline when the army contains at least one unit of The Returned. The Silver Mirror: Change range to 30" as this is the new range for unbinding in AoS 2nd edition. Field Trebuchet: Change the profile like GW did it for the new Celestar-Ballista. This means the war machine and crew have only one profile and not one for each. Green Knight: He seems to be too expensive for what he does. There has to be a reason to take him over a Marshal on Pegasus. He could have 3+ to wound not only when he charges. The Exemplar Order: Range 2" for Unrefutable Challenge seems very little. There is no option for a mounted standard bearer hero. There is no option for a Handmaiden on Pegasus Marshal on Warhorse/Pegasus: Why does the Marshal on Warhorse have a reroll to hit against MONSTERS, but the one on Pegasus doesn't? A Hero on Pegasus is more likely to be a monster hunter than a one on warhorse. Battle Pilgrims: Does the Reliquae have the same profile like the other Battle Pilgrims? When taking a minimum sized unit, would it be 4 Battle Pilgrims and 1 Reliquae or 5 Battle Pilgrims and 1 Reliquae? The Exemplar Order: Does "non BRETON units" refer to allies or also to units that are part of a BRETON Battailon like The Sage Order or The Order of the Burning Lance which contain ELDRITCH COUNCIL and FYRESLAYER units? I don't like the idea of units on Demi-Gryph. In my opinion Demi-Gryph is Free Peoples. A unit of Hippogryph mounted knights would be nice. I would like to see a Bretonnian Crossbowmen unit. Bretonnia had Crossbowmen back in 3rd/4th edition of WHFB and I still have models for them. I would really like to use them in my Bretonnian Army. That's my thoughts so far.
