  1. Last reply to this as this is a rumour thread and I think we should keep on topic. You can PM or start new thread if not happy. Anyway my reply... Didn't they do a facebook post asking for input? Also we know there are people from the studio who keep an eye on social media and a few of them visit this forum. So I think they are getting plenty of input. Not happy with it, jump into the facebook post and say.
  2. Guys, I don't see why you are all getting upset. You want to play with points for competitive/tournaments/pick up games? To me this is easy as it seems everything you will need will be in the core battletomb and maybe Generals Handbook. Want to play pure Stormcast? Use the Stormcast book. Want some other stuff, use the General's Handbook. If you don't care about points and want to do narrative or Age of Sigmar out of the box? You won't care about this issue Seriously, GW do something cool and give you what you have been asking for and it's not what you wanted and it's like they have stolen your sandwich. I think this is really cool and I have no issue following what is going on. I love what they are doing and I can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeves considering we are only in February now! Anyway, this thread is something about rumours or something.......
  3. As much as I love the Patriots, this is a rumour thread and not a Football thread I can see some people getting excited about this but I think in general it will be ok
  4. Personally I would like players would use common sense and stick with new rules but can see situations where people may not be aware about the differences (such as new players). I think the approach to them would be the following Friendly games - You discuss with opponent what you want to do Tournaments - Organisers decide what is used. Again common sense is to use the new rules.
  5. They are still valid but have no points so can't be used in matched play.
  6. Slightly off topic as not a rumour but I would say either because of the following.... Person likes the model not on a disc Person is playing a narrative campaign and for some reason they can't have a disc That goes in wherever it's matched/narrative or whatever. Personally I agree with you but I can see why some players wouldn't do it.
  7. Might be a bit of this but I suspect it's more because they want players to feel that they are getting more bang for their buck and offer sets with better value. It's also more inviting for new players Its been mentioned but I think its for some sort of Fast Attack/Scouting force you can choose in the new book. I don't think they will be battleline but as mentioned, seem useful for attacking support units (warmachines, shooting units, wizards. etc). If they are cheap points wise, make Stormcast even more scarier!
  8. 100% agree with this ++ Mod Hat On ++ Can we keep this thread to rumours please? Cheers
  9. If you ever do get chance to meet him, like pretty much everybody at GW he is a really nice guy! I met him a few years ago at a GW Heat for fantasy and he was just sitting out of the way doodling in a notebook. It was great to chat with him, especially as I was in awe as I love his work! Under Pressure of course!!!
  10. Don't say stuff like that as it makes me want to speed paint an army I know I have no time to speed paint! Also are you doing grudges as I need to sort out Mr Johnson with my frosty elephant
  11. This is what I'm thinking as well due to the design of the gun and the direction the story is going in
  12. I think that's really disgusting Chris..... Seriously, it's all fine. Problem with real life is that somethings are difficult to do and with all the gaming and podcasting you are doing, you shouldn't worry too much about it. Also I'm dead jealous of all the gaming and hobby stuff you do!!!!
  13. Just want to thank @Ben for providing all the coverage (and one fantastic moment of suffering.... ). Gutted I couldn't pop down but just watching the twitter coverage has got me wanting to do an another army now!
  14. The second channel was the original channel when they did the Warlords GT coverage. Not sure if somebody else had the Warhammer label but they seemed to have got it now and using that (which makes sense as this is what they are rebranding to).
  15. I have one of those type off accounts and got my confirmation email
  16. @Ben are you doing any coverage of this via Twitter or some sort of write up for TGA?
  17. I'm 99% sure it was confirmed on the stream by Rob and Eddie, however I was being kicked in the face by my son who didn't want to go to sleep in his pram and decided that Daddy was more comfortable, so I may have been slightly distracted
  18. As mentioned by @CoffeeGrunt, it's dramatic positioning Also it was mentioned in the stream it was a Bright Wizard (but you can argue that could be a lie). Could Duardin have wizards? I think so. Things have changed since the days of the world what was
  19. I've been quite enjoying my Amazon Prime subscription as Amazon Music has been brilliant over the last few days. Seriously for not much more you get to support this and get some cool extras! If you've not signed up to the links in the first post in this thread and want to support Warhammer TV - JUST DO IT!!!!
  20. Just signed up to this. As Ben has said this is a good deal if you want to use some of the other services (music streaming is tempting), and even if you choose not to, you can cancel before the end of your trial
