  1. Idk.... seems a little light on magic. Maybe swap out the poxbringer for a sorcerer? At least then you can take mutter grub. If you are worried about Tzeentch or toads you have to figure out a way to get more spell unbinding in your list.
  2. So a "pure" Nurgle build (oxymoron if I ever saw one?) can contain anything from the Tamurkhans horde, StD (marked Nurgle) demons or rot bringers. Sounds like a great big pile of Nurgle-y fun to me.
  3. Ok, this might be a dumb question, but with all the new rules/wordings, is Tamurkhans horde still considered Nurgle as far as trees, spells, wheel etc?
  4. Yes, it states that the SAME UNIT can't be affected in the same phase. So, no multiple Harbys, for example. I can live with that.
  5. This is a can of worms right now that I feel is being blown out of proportion. I will play it as I always have until the FAQs prove me wrong. The wording is too ambiguous (gasp) for me to rearrange my approach.
  6. By your reasoning here, the only units that you'd be able to bring would be Archie, gaunt summoners and varanguard. I truly believe that NOT to be the case. PTWB will be able to be played as it has in the past, albeit at a higher cost (rightfully so)
  7. Nope. It's a MORTAL NURGLE battalion. Those are the keywords that are pertinent. Hence marked units of marauders and warriors become battleline for it.
  8. As well as the fact that it can be just as hard for your opponent to unbind it. A spell that is harder to cast is also harder to unbind.....unless he's playing Tzeentch or has Kroak on the table. Make him use those unbind attempts. Something else will get through......
  9. IMO, it's that^^ AND the fact that 260 points is about 80 points too much for a single spell caster. Too bad, too. It's an awesome model gathering dust on my shelf along with the other two maggoth lords.....
  10. Yeah, otherwise they can be direct ordered there with free shipping to the store.
  11. I run mine on a 60 round. It looks good on there.
  12. I'm probably wrong about this, but I'm putting stuff like hounds, fast cav, weapon teams etc on the bike ovals. They don't look right to me on anything bigger.
  13. so it's not that you feel that it's a useless spell..... I get that you seem to have been choosing as many damage/buffing spells so as to have them available for Kairos, and ultimately, the scribes. I just feel that that spell, firestorm and treacherous bond are the three spells to ALWAYS take. That's just my opinion, of course.
  14. Really nice build.... just wondering why you didn't take Glimpse the Future? @Nico

  17. I didn't quit. There were many at our local GW that made all the usual noises: "It's just Herohammer. It's not balanced. There's NO POINTS (gasp)". Now most of them are coming back around because the point system has them convinced that the game is 'fair and balanced'. I'll play points, as most in our community embrace this style of play. However I've really come to enjoy narrative play more. And the funny thing is, Now that they've opened their minds to AoS, most are becoming interested in campaigns ala Path to Glory. Tzeenctch had his way with them. Now the loooong process of rebasing 30k +points worth of models....
