  1. I'm absolutely horrible at sculpting, I did buy those rubber sculpting tools and whatnot, but my sculpting never comes out as how I had hoped it would be, lol. Perhaps I can snatch some verminlord tail bits off ebay, that would probably do the trick to turn about any daemon into a verminlord.
  2. Really nice conversion, what are your plans for the other 2? Keep up the good work
  3. Thank you for the nice comment and clarification! For some reason my brain didn't register the if (the brain tends to skip double words or words that look similar it seems), so I assumed the cork layers might make it look like it is modelled for an advantage or that there is some weird AOS rule I wasn't aware of yet :P. I kind of wanted all my verminlords to look different. I sort of want a warpseer as well, but not sure which model to use as a base for the conversion yet. I might get a warpgnaw verminlord and convert the globe into his hand, I could probably still use it as a regular warpgnaw after that when needed. A magnus the red would be great, but I lack a large rat tail to make that model work.
  4. I would love to hear how the stormfiends and weapon teams perform in the list :). Hope it works out nicely for you!
  5. Well, as far as I know, models tend to either go by range of the base, which is exactly the same size as a normal verminlord. I made sure the head of the verminlord is at the exact same position as a regular verminlord as well, plus made sure the highest point of the verminlord's body is the same as a regular verminlord. So I don't think it can be considered to be modeled for advantage? Or am I missing something? Here is a side by side comparison of height, base size and head level: Edit: it is indeed boneripper :), I had no use for the model, so I ripped it apart and remodelled it like this :P.
  6. The mini is the exact same height as a Verminlord Deceiver and same base size :). The model was just small, so I had to make it bigger to keep things fair.
  7. Not done painting yet, but, you do think this one can substitute a verminlord warbringer? Kind of building a more elite Skaven force with multiple verminlords and a broodhorror alongside lots of clanrats.
  8. I see! Thank you! I personally would assume that the concept art would already be done from the previous productions. Some stuff gets used and lots of stuff gets skipped after all. It would be interresting to see if they do release something along the lines of KO. A magical vessel that counts as a wizard would be more than welcome for them I would assume.
  9. Sadly we do not know how long the production time is between a green light and actual release :(. I would assume a year or so? But perhaps it is much longer.
  10. They also specifically mentioned Eshin in the Warhammer TV preview of the realms, I believe they said something along the lines of Eshin lurking in the shadows of Ulgu and you may end up with a knife in your back. AOS really needs a stealthy army that isn't wanderers or vanguard stormcast. I personally would love if Nippon culture somehow got preserved in the realm of shadows and is still actively training Eshin.
  11. Spam releases for battletomes would be great. I have a suspicion we might be seeing a skaven vs shadow elves boxed set at some point since both are in the ulgu realms right now, at least eshin is.
  12. There is still the Skaven release rumor which has gone silent for a long time. It came from the same source that told us about idoneth, DOK, AOS2 and shadow elves and the likes about a year ago. It would happen shortly after AOS2 release apparently. They said its mostly Skryre stuff though. I hope to see some reveals soon. Quite hobby starved for a decent skaven release! I hope they mix some verminus or eshin into the release as well, and just MAYBE a battletome, reuniting the clans.
  13. I wouldn't worry about it, the eshin sign is on other parts of the body as well, just consider it an aesthetic
  14. The new Rumor Engine is related to 40k, its under 40k news, not AOS news.
  15. So far every army other than armies like death or seraphon seems to be nerfed. So perhaps it is for the best. Far too many armies could not compete at all, now their odds are slightly more favorable :). The absence of a wow unit may be healthier for the game state.
  16. Thank you so much for that. Thats exactly the kind of colour i was looking for. I will save it as soon I get on my pc!
  17. It was under AOS news and not 40k earlier. So pretty sure its AOS this time ?. About the harp comments, i think the strings arent straight and point to 1 unified point? Arent the strings of a harp paralel to each other?
  18. I think it looks like dark elves stuff more so than slaanesh at glance. Shadow elves have been rumored for a long time after all and now with the dark elf bloodbowl its likely i think.
  19. I think Legions of Nagash styled battletomes without miniature releases are perfect to get armies up to date. Personally, I would even like a compendium that skips all the fluff for now and just gets the important rules for a lot of armies at once up to date. Many armies would already be competitive if they had something simple as a proper battalion, so it doesn't even have to take ages of R&D.
  20. Another thing that bugs me is that the warscroll on the app for clanrats says a unit of clanrat contains at least 10 models, but everywhere else you need to take them in bunches of 20. I really want that cheap battleline requirement back.
  21. Its likely that there'll be another set similar to blightwar around that time covering Darkoath and moongrots. But its all speculation based on past GW decisions! And look at them go at turbo speed, 1 release after another against all the GW odds.
  22. New Sequitors and Evocator kits coming out. It was quite nasty of GW to not mention the alternative weapon options in the current warscrolls. Time to find a lantern and staff to upgrade the other miniatures XD
  23. Looks good! I tried something very similar with my idoneth deepkin, making the armour dark and cool colours, but the skin and ornaments warm colours, so far it has been working out. Still have a long way to go before I can consider myself a good painter. I think for the khorne warband I'll just give them glowing weapons. I've had success doing that with the orc warband, in fact, painted those orcs in a few hours as well. I guess I'll give the edges a blue glow or something sometime soon! Orc warband:
  24. Wolf rats still don't sound too great, I think they really need at least a 4+ save to be worth their points.
