    There are a surprising amount of "GW purists" out there though, before I moved to Belgium I remember there was a person making a fuss over my skaven conversions with some 3rd party bits (or even self made ones). I was working on a Nippon inspired Skaven army at the time and I have to admit those type of encounters can be highly demotivating and limit creativity. This was 4 or 5 years ago though, maybe mentalities have changed. I've seen some really cool skaven sculpts that can be 3D printed, it would be a huge boon to allow some of these considering stuff like acolytes and nightrunners are extremely ugly.

    To be fair, as a competitive FAB TCG player with only 5 hours to spare each week, the simplified rules and low model count have been a great way to get back into AOS. So I hope SC remains a middle tier faction to keep having fun with it when I have time.

    I might do that if the locals are alright with it. Probably quite cheap to pick a unit or two up.

    Very true! I'm still waiting for a meaningful Skaven release. All the Skaven stuff is up and painted and there is only so many additional units of Clanrats you can buy before getting bored XD.

    Hello everyone! My local scene has a shortage of miniatures and I cannot get my hands on 2 hander Annihilators. I do have the starter box set and was considering to converting the shield and hammer to great hammers. Does anyone know which kit has bits that fit with these? I did consider using the Praetors as the base model and just replacing the the halbert with a hammer bit, but there might be people that get confused because of the cape. Caped annihilators does sound thematically cool to me though. Thoughts?

    I've been out of AOS for a while and was looking to pick up those new dragons and maybe painting up some new units since I have 6 raptors from back in the day, but damn the dragons cost is annoying, lol. I feel if they were 300 or 320 points it would be far easier to fit them into a list.

    I do recall some 9th age friends saying that if you put rounds together the block size will be larger and thus against WHFB rules.

    I'm still sad that the "big release rumor" for Skaven and Ogors ended up being 1 model... Anyone hear any more rumors or have these projects been chucked to the side by GW?

    I was going to get back into AOS because of Lumineth, bought most of the army, was super happy with Sevirith, etc., but people really killed the vibe for me with all the snarky comments. I am still painting slowly, but whats the point playing if the opponent is just going to be sour all game? I see the same in TCGs, I think we need a global mentality adjustment. Because I think this type of toxicity is bad for board/cardgames.

    I was sort of hoping for a mongolian-inspired army, a bit like Rippas snarlfangs. Wonder if wolfriders will be a thing for these boyz.
