I can understand this. I think they are just dated personally... Black orcs had their time in the old world but that time has gone. When i saw this dude I immediately thought "damn, I hope this is the look of new Ardboys as the fluff is they're not true Ironjawz but from other clans. This would of been THE perfect opportunity to update the kit whilst tieing these new Orruks to the old ones.

I think its just subjective but i also think folks that would prefer "uniformity " are leaning more towards aspects like anatomical proportions, anatomical realism, etc. For me personally its this above all else. There is no denying that the kruleboyz, just as the new stormcast, have taking a much different approach to model design. Im a very detailed person so it's very easy for me to spot these not so subtle differences across the Orruk warclans models. Things like ridiculously big heads, teeth that wouldn't allow you to even close their mouths let alone put food in, over the top muscle tone, etc. Yes a unified paint scheme helps but for some its way more than that. Again it's all subjective.

Speaking of rules we haven't seen yet with regards to the sludgeraker, it has all those cages, perhaps it'll have rules like the gargant and dankholds where by you'll be able to delete a single model via capturing and caging... Pretty cool I think.

Well I appreciate the compartmentalization attempt, @Mutton. ✊ It's nice to read a thread title and know what I'm getting into. It's very tiresome having to wade through folks "feelings" when all I want to know is if anyone has spotted any new destro models or if a juicy wisper on the winds has been heard. New dragons are dope. Hopefully this means there's more on the way for the Kruleboyz.

In random news ive almost got my first ten bases completed for my gutrippaz and have a first draft on a shield color scheme. I'll pour some resin swamp water in the bases were i can as well. It'll be my first time trying that. I wanted something different than the classic red or yellow and I'll try to brighten up the verdigris on the shield as well as the eyes. Slow burning this army and loving it! Almost time to start on the Gutrippaz themselves!✊

Speculation time!!! Musician- retreat and charge Banner- reroll battleshock tests Champion- +1 attack, poison mortal proc on a 5+ stock. And im thinking about a msu of hobgrots behind a 20 block of Gutrippaz with spears to toss grenades over their heads instead of the general spead bump approach thats seems to be their general thought on usage. And if not needed they can fall back onto objectives. Good combo or nay, says you? Also if anyone didnt see it in the rumors thread... In the pics from the recent rules preview we can see a second champion head option from the multipart boltboys kit and what appeared to be a drummer option alongside the horn in the multipart gutrippaz kit.

Not really rumors but from some of the pics posted in the Orruk Warclans rules article we can see that the multipart Boltboyz have at least a 2nd champion head option. Also Its tiny and blurry BUT it also looks like the multipart Gutrippaz have a drummer option as well as the horn. Fingers crossed for a 2nd banner!!

Lots of folks seem to be on board with the blood knight lists utilizing the sub faction that makes them battleline.

@Neil Arthur Hotep This bothers me to no end!! Its the same on the star drake! Hoping that once FEC gets updated that the vargheists / horrors kit is either updated or split apart to have their own kits and the same for the zombie dragon / terrorgheist kit.

Random but pertaining to the Marshcrawla Sloggoth, its the only model that I find off from the rest. The howdah and grots are fine but I simply cannot figure out what bugs me about the tr(sl)oggoth. I know the few little random horns are strange to me but there's something else that my trogg loving self just cant come to like it. Maybe in person will feel different. And why isn't it just a troggoth?...
