Be’Lakor is slowly making his way to being ready to hit the table for this army (and my other chaos armies)

So there’s almost no way this is better than Be’Lakor added in; but has anyone considered that a GUO (besides adding further wizardry into the list and refusing to die) with a bell can boost Archaon a further 3” in his movement? That’s 17”, plus 2D6, plus a Godseeker/Cogs bonus, if chosen. Food for thought. And it’s slightly cheaper than Be’Lakor. plus it would allow me to add this Gluttonous beauty into my Slaanesh army:

Ok, I’m adjusting my Slaanesh super-friends list (cuz I don’t wanna steal someone else’s. Lol) archaon be’lakor synessa chaos sorcerer lord 3 units of Hellstriders chronomatic cogs 1995 points. Hellstriders screen, Be’Lakor tells the big enemy lynchpin “sit, Booboo, sit” and Archaon and Synessa tear down targets near and far. My only regret is a lack of Sigvald.

Well, I’ve started painting Be’Lakor. I already did the rock portion of his base and based him Corvus Black. Archaon has been almost finished for a year now. 😂

I was thinking about it and was about to post this same thing as my A&B super friend list. You beat me to the punch. Lol. Wasn’t sure on faction/sub faction/artifacts yet, but the model setup was gonna be the same.

So I’m thinking of doing an Archaon and Be’Lakor super-friends setup in each of the four books. My Khorne one is up (in the Khorne thread, of course), if anyone wants to look. Probably pure madness, but I don’t believe in doing any list by the book.

Theory crafting “what the hell is he thinking” list… Archaon Bloodthirster of Unfettered Fury bloodstoker bloodsecrator 3x10 Bloodreavers allied Be’Lakor emerald life swarm ES. Be’Lakor does his thing on a double turn, Bloodstoker whips Archaon (yeah, no joke, he’s out of his mind) for the +3 to run and the reroll wounds to fish for 6’s. The charge is unnecessary, because the Bloodthirster grants a 6” pile-in to Archaon. You’re guaranteed a 24” MIMINUM movement on Archaon with no charge reactions possible. I have to revisit my Blades book to determine which sub faction, if any, but the ‘Thirster is probably getting the 5++ artifact. Three big scary monsters with serious board control presence, the ability to ignore charge reactions, and can shut down god-characters. I think I found my BoK list. With 1190pts from S2D and an Endless Spell 😂

Oh nice, those parts line up perfectly. Excellent conversion. Can’t wait to see it painted.

Enoby, I’d be happy to help, but I’m a bit of an armchair player at this point; between family and the pandemic, I haven’t gotten a game in in ages. Certainly nothing in for 3.0. I paint, I sculpt, I theory-craft lists, but that’s about it.

How would this do, in general. Nurgle is my least favorite of the gods, so I put in less effort usually: Archaon GUO w/bell and flail verminlord corruptor Epidemius 3x10 units of Plaguebearers Feculent Gnarlmaw scenery burning head, just because I have 25pts left.

I encourage anyone who wants to steal my idea to do so. It uses old parts often left over (shoulder pads from Marauders, daemon prince loincloth), Myrmadesh sword and board, and only requires buying a $35 kit for 10 bodies (Vindictors on eBay). Saves about $100 (for those of us in the US) to have a 10-man unit of Twinsouls and two 5-man units of Painbringers. Literally the only spot of actual sculpting is the left shoulder pad.

As promised…unit champion (Painmaster) finished! What do you guys think as a substitute to proper Myrmadesh, using spare parts?

Unit of 5, primed. Second unit being built. Used Standard Bearers’ body for second unit’s champion. My Myrmadesh Stormbringers. Oh, and next photo is going to be a fully painted unit champion, then a full unit fully painted.

For now. Gotta sculpt the green stuff shoulder pad, but it’s gotta harden first.

I see absolutely no reason you couldn’t. I used the Myrmadesh/Twinsouls box for Twinsouls, so I have nothing left. But I’d say you could. However, you either need to use a LOT of green stuff at the neck area or modify Stormcast heads. I chose to modify the heads

Well, Vindictors came. Anyone wanna say this won’t work? Cuz I’m pretty happy; this is without ANY green stuff yet.

Thanks, I guess. Either way, the new Stormcast guys with spears show up today and they’re labeled as Vindicators on eBay. They’re getting re-armed either as Myrmadesh or Chosen. One way or another.

Vindicators arrive today. I’m probably only getting one test model built, but I’ll share how well it works combined with Myrmadesh parts. Still haven’t had any luck on extra helms, asked on here, Facebook and Bartertown.
