  1. yes. im not saying shark be useles, only saying u were wrong saying it got better now. and explained with numbers how it got worse in everything. sure it isnt so bad. and have some uses. but none can say it is better now when it is clearly worse in everything.
  2. hmmm love that u love ur sharks, but cant say they are better now, when maths never lie and they clearly shows how sharks are much worse now ( net) or a bit worse ( harpon). it is like saying a unit got buffed doing 1more dmg, but got 1k points increase, but it got better! maths says it won 25% wounds, and lost turtle buff, and got 33% increase in points. so it got HUGE nerf in durability, even without turtle it got 8% worse for no reason. damagewise is even worse. it got 0 increase on net, and around 25% with harpoon, again the gains were inferior than the nerf in points. so overall sharks got around 8% or 16% worse now, not counting the lost of turtle save, if not it is even worst. and not counting the captain buff since never will run them as unit with his pitiful 6ld, losing 165 or more points even on unlucky rolls isnt fun to me

  4. yes scrools were buffed. but in most of cases maybe the cost was raised even more. shark only got like 25% more wounds but lost cover and dmg only was raised by around the same. so around 20% better but got like 35% so in general it got worse. it should cost 145-150. not 165. and if u use the net it got even worst, lost turtle aura, won 2w and got 40p higher on top of the nerf! thralls are worse than vampires graveguard per example. since they have higher dmg 2/3 of the times and only sligthy less on 4+w,so 130p is right to make them roughly the same. and we dont see graveguard winning tourneys so thralls shouldnt be too strong. archerboys got really nice. but not for a 50% increase in points for sure. at short range they are roughly the same since new ones cant get the +1 hit, so only won 1rend for a 50% increase?? hell no, and lost half atacks in melee. in long range they are really far better now, but they got a step increase with 0 increase in durability so they are squishier now. all and all i like them more now, even if mathwise maybe they are nerfed, but are easier to play from long range and are far better defending objetives while doing dmg. i think those units wont be winning every tourney, and maybe even they wont see tables i dont know. but for casual games at least i like them more now, at least baldys, shark one only got worse. but scrools are better for sure and points change everytime. so im happy
  5. not so great changes after points increase. thralls getting 2" was obvious and nedded only to make them viable, mathwise they are sligthy worse than vampires graveguard and they arent used, so sky isnt falling here lol shark won around 25% increase in wounds and dmg if u get together melee and shoting. but got nerfed around 30% and cant get turtle cover now since more than 8w? so it got nerfed archers gained only 1 rend at less than 8" versus old scroll with turtle or cp, now they cant get that +1 to hit since they are 2+ and lost half atacks in melee, got nerfed by 45% in points.... so they got nerfed in that situation,sure at long range they got 1 rend and like 200% more dmg. so they are really nice now but not on op gamebreaking side like some dudes are criying on my groups. they are sligthy better than irondrakes level( more movility but far less tanky) and they arent stomping games neither. and are a bit better than blisbards, and they have free summon and are said like worst unit in all aos lol all and all, they are funier to play with those rules and got away better than dwarfs for sure, but idk were top of middle tier and they arent better with this i think since only foot unit got better and not so much,( and they were bad before),and the only fish we saw got worse ( sligthy)
  6. yes that would be great. but gw is too stuborn to admit his errors. same with double turn.they prefer to have different things to make games diferent, despite some rules being clearly inferior or wrong
  7. well per example grave guard, 2 less move in exchange of 3 bravery, they do always 13,2 dmg and 2,2 mortals. against thralls 8,8 or 13,2 or 17,6.. so grave guard is better in every situation and only sligthy worse against 4+w, since have 2 lesser dmg but some of his dmg in mortals. and they are in 20mm bases, so even at 1" they have easier time geting 10-20 models at rangue. so in general i would say grave guard is better most of the time, and they cost 140p and even have the option to have shield to be tankier.and i dont see vampires spaming them so thrals couldnt be more than 130. more that and they will get see same table those 4 years ( none haha)
  8. well at 1" thralls wasnt even bad. they were totally useless and none with more than 1iq would pay the points of a full unit for half unit. at 2" they are finally playable. even at 200p they would be as good as at 1" lol. and they have lower armor than most of elites, lower bravery ( same as most but lost standard?). lower damage agains 2-4w models, sligthy better than average against 1w models and much better against 5w models. so they should be raised to average elite cost or sligthy less because armor and bravery. maybe 130-140p. despite that i will like them more than the 1" trash even at 160p and yes. i hope every 10model unit with bigger than 25mn bases get changed to 2", vulkites, saurus.etc etc
  9. well. wont deny fyreslayer one is a dowgrade of ironjaws one. but again the idk one... idk only buff the worst unit in tome. while slayer buff more units. and best unit in book among them. and idk one only minor buff ( rerolls 1s or 6s explode). while slayer one buffs 100 percent dmg on dmg 1 unit or 50 percent on 2dmg units. but is weird why ironjaws hero wasnt balanced but this one is a worse version
  10. thralls really really need 2", make sense since even on his scrool they are worded like ", wielding massive 2 handweapons" then you see his stats and it has same range as a goblin dagger lol and a 32base melee unit with minimun size of 10 cant have 1", not only for idk thralls. same is aplied to every army, and i hope it get adressed in next general handbook. aniway again on idk, thrals are useless at 1" now since on most of istances only 5 will get to fight, unless enemy unit be on a perfect lane and you can meassure for 1 hour ur thralls in order to get 8 or so to fight!. so this hero wont see any use even on casual games. if thralls get 2" then this hero will be nice, and ill love to run 2units of 20 thralls and others 2 unit of 20 reavers. and noone is spaming reavers, not because everyone has eels. it is because they arent good lol. only 8" on a ranged unit sucks and then. they have 0 rend, so wont do any dmg in this aos where everything get 2+ armor stacks. im hoping they get 1rend on rapidfire and at least 2 shoots in normal range
  11. i knew idk part would have baldys but.... couldnt have been 2 unit of eels instead baldys?? i hope we get something besides that. since didnt have anything since our release like 4 years ago. not even a tome for a whole eddition. and now only will get a tiny foot hero??? not even endless spells
  12. daaam, everyone is soeaking about crab only for jokes. or doing memes, now voting fir it.... im sure only 10% of those guys legit want a crab. as idoneth player i reaaaaaaally hate crabs, since i have arachnophobia, and crabs legs give me same chills as spiders one, or cloose. so despite not getting anything from gw since our release like 4 years ago, im sure first unit we will get will be a crab, only for guys jokes.... instead propper atlantis sea elves. big ass sea dragon, huge kraken creature, mermaids, proper fish etc so vote for kroak!!! and stop crab joke plssss, my seraphons also deserve a rework
  13. i think someone in gw forgot only 1 solar basti in 1 faction spending 1cp can shot 2 times and pointed like that... 250p for 6dmg with 1rend in average????? that scrool would cost 160-200p max. but suure u get lot of buffs, cps,army traith only to buff him etc etc and u double that.... amy unit in any army could do that, and u dont balance them like that? same on salamanders, they do average 3,2 dmg with 2rend, for 140p???? i dont see that so impressive, sure they could be 2 doing 6,6 and even charging! doing others 6 or so. but even then 280p for that? too expensive math wise. problem is seraphons havent ANY 2rend in all tome so salamanders will be used even at 200p, where are the improved rend on trex. or drop points in every saurus unit or halve troglodon points?? at least they got what they wanted, tzench will go down, seraphon will drop down. and giants and orcs will free reign, with dok,stc,vampires etc going up
  14. thats 100% eldar rangers in byke.and as eldar player im sorry for other guys. but when most of my army is metal, finecrap or plastic with an average of 15-25 years old models... im really happy to see some justice now, and even then it isnt likely to be so big release as sixters or necrons, despite being in worst place by far. and yes. it is infuriating to see the threatment 40k gets in contrast with aos. but at least last year and broken realms were great. but since 3.0 release....
  15. yes thats the new hero for sure. and it is sooo dissapointed, it is 99% gereric baldy with sligthy different choker and weapons. in morathy book she promised us powerful cithay souls, so new idk like volturnos, i mean even better than akhelians, fully powerful sea elves, not this useless baldy
  16. 2 units +hero for idk and unit and hero for fyreslayers? weird a dual release getting different numbers no? do u know if the boxset will have new models? or only old models with new hero?? i would love a box with full new models, but i dont want 2 unit of baldys more only to get the hero lol
  17. Being a reinforced unit, so 6 ballistas, of course with the swamp mage. There is noone hwho thinks this ca is balanced, it would be the same a ca for melees: when a ranged unit try to shoot any unit a 8" this unit u can do a free atack to that unit with a tiny -1 to hit!! Why did they implanted that silly ca for rangeds only?
  18. Ranged was allready a problem in aos 2, this was totally the oposite we neded. In case they neded to implent this absurd thing, should have been like 40k overwatch. Only the unit charged AND 6s to hit. Only a -1 to hit when lot of shotting armys have easy acces to +50 to hit is a joke, and being able to use it even if the unit isnt charged??? What the ******, only taus in 40k can do that and if im not wrong is range is litle. I have seen multiples games where new ballista orcs do 10-14mortals when charged, deleting the charging unit 100% to 0 for 1cp...
  19. ??? I see the opossite. Everything was hit double than others. Skinks, saurus etc are useless now. Only cheap carno, bastiladon, cold riders, salamanders and bow estegadon remain playable ( and good). Also lost 1 passive, of controlling endless. Since it was given to everyone. With nothing to compensate it. And kroak was nerfed really hard in kragnos. So im totally sure seraphon wont remain in tier1, when karadrons wasnt nerfed at all. Archaon tzench not so much etc. Maybe we can be in tier2, not bad but pretty worse than before
  20. I would have bought the box if it would have, saurus, any kind of elf or even vsmpires, but more stormcast and ugly ass orcs? No thx, they could have been ironjaws at least. Rules help too , i wont play a edittion where i cant use my units ( any 6+ models in minimun size with 32+ base and 1" weapon are totally useless, since only half will fight, despite people arguing u could spend 1 hour meassuring every milimeter and if rival is in perfect line u could even get 7 or 8 to fight!). And 2 absurds ca to ranged with an op endless to make melees more useless in a rangedhammer....So i will wait 1 year to see if other 2 faqs and other ghb fix that madness.
  21. Yes that point is the thing keeping me away from playing aos 3.0. i wont play that ****** untill they fix melee ranges ( 40k rule) or give 2" to thralls. I refuse to buy more eels, i like lists with everything. So i have 2 units of each, only 3 among both eels, so my list was pretty bad allready, and now gw did my bad list unplayable.... Sure maybe spam eels etc could be ok in 3.0 but i dont like that spam list, so wont play till they fix the game
  22. Ehh?? It wasnt the image posted when i saw it. Did they change it after???? I swear im not fooling u. The ability sad whitin 8" and only reroll 1s to wound. So an error? Or they plan to change it to it n the future?
  23. New coherence rules fuking congas, and big unit is great, but.... Gw didnt thought about poor units that are 10 models in msu, have 1" and 32 bases, like poor idoneth thralls. They are forced to eat this rule since cant go in 5. But only hp 5 each 10 will fight. since games arent perfect lanes vs lanes where u can maximice every milimeter range after meassuring for 30 minutes only to get 1 or 2 more in range.
  24. Yes u are absolute rigth, i dont know wich genious thought that a ranged game neded a op version of overwatch AND other cp to move away from melees. And a endless to do melees useless( cant charge). They should have made the opossite, a cp making a chargue guaranted, other cp making a unit inmune to shoting 1 phase etc. But again, is the same company that copy pasted 40k coherence and forgot melee ranged, doing totally useless every 6+ msu unit with 1" on 32 bases...
  25. Wtf??? Am i the only one who realized gw just nerf our avatar in todays article???? His aura went from 18"<8 and +1 to wound to rerolls 1s....... So gw dont fix useless thralls giving them 2", but delete the aura on melee avatar, because it was so good that was being spamed stomping every tournament. Even worst is, thralls is our best unit now!!! But they forgot to tell people that only 5 each 10 can fight....
