  1. You can always change their name! Think of what GW provides as merely a suggestion.
  2. I know I brought a lot of negativity to this thread after Kragnos was announced. I just wanted to say that BoC are still my favorite army and that this thread is full of great advice and better people. I’m hoping for BoC to get some love in 3.0.
  3. I agree that Ironjawz are basically perfect. Every unit has a role and fills it well. Brutes just need a little tweak to be more of a blender than they currently are. I’d only add one or two units to the range, like a Megaboss on Gore-Grunta and maybe some Stone Chuckaz
  4. The SBGL novel was gone in 60 sec, same with the ltd ed art print set. I really hate their pre-order system that requires lightning reflex perfection.

  6. For now. I’d like something more formalized and thematic.
  7. Knowing we are the last 2.0 battletome has given me pause. It might be invalidated straight-out-the-gate with a long wait for a refresh.
  8. You do know there are armies that are still majority Finecast and some that still have key models in metal.
  9. They don’t. They are talking Destruction.
  10. I’m the lonely contrarian who wants Duardin soup! I’d like a tome similar to CoS where Grungni convinces Fyreslayers to assist Dispo in reclaiming their holds and you can run mixed FS/Dispo lists w/Grom and/or Gotrek as General. You can take 1/4 KO or Ironweld as support, leaving KO with their own tome and Ironweld w/Cities. I’d even go for a Big Waaagh type deal with all Duardin units available and you can acquire Rune prayer points to spend. I want to swarm the skies with Frigates & Gyros. I want Slayers on Magmadroths charging up the board with slow marching Hammerers in support. Any army wants to step to United Duardin, “let them come” and face all that, plus our artillery. Bring it on!
  11. I hope Vargheists remain battleline cuz I have a lot of them
  12. Exactly, thanks for making my point for me.
  13. I should clarify. I don’t think the range will disappear but go the way if Slaangors— infantry force God armies but no more Old World flavor army of its own.
  14. The Underworlds warband? That’s technically a side-game and we’re just lucky their rules work okay for us.
  15. There’s no plan. We’ve been forgotten, again. The newer plastics are such lovely models and the army is fun to play. It’s a real shame.
  16. I felt like we had a brief good run in the first half of 2.0 thanks to the Herdstone, two solid battalions, Gavespawn, & Be’lakor ally. I went 8-2 with BoC during those months.
  17. I think BoC are destined for squatting. Us & Skaven are the only armies who got nothing out of Broken Realms and Kragnos is a kick-in-the-teeth: just look at him! His whole aesthetic screams BoC, not Destruction. I’m really bummed. We are an afterthought army.
  18. Khorne Daemons for a mild update via Be’lakor tho, right?
  19. Are BoC the only faction to get nothing out of BR? I’d still have preferred Kragnos to be BoC and Destruction gets a massive plastic Rogue Idol. Oh well!
  20. Kragnos still looks BoC to me. Doesn’t fit Destruction’s aesthetic at all, IMO.
  21. Not quite. Fluff wise the Aelves are far more different from one-another than the Duardin are.
