  1. I can totally get not liking that mini, but in my experience kids are a lot less likely to make a fuss about stuff like that than adults. To them, it's likely just gonna be *shrugs*.
  2. Yeah, Clan Pestilens is the new DoK, it seems. Those monks really are insane.
  3. Ain't that the truth. Still, I think those rules needlessly boost armies that have easy access to casters (who are already favoured due to scenarios like Places of Arcane Power), and severely disadvantages others.
  4. I would agree (Ghoul Patrol or Royal Family), but the real question is: do we still despeartely need a battalion, or rather are we willing to pay so much for that? Still not sure about that ... Congrats on the result, though.
  5. Is that your way of combining Bill Souza and Ben Johnson into one FEC super-person?
  6. It's definitely an awesome boost to FEC with all their wizards ... Not sure if armies like BCR will find that houserule just as great.
  7. Are there any hard shooting alphas at 1000 points? 'Cause against melee alpha that list should be able to insulate itself with ghouls and throne.
  8. For a Gristlegore Court, your trait needs to be Savage Strike. Also, did you happen to play in Shyish, or did you get all the spells just because you hail from there?
  9. But then, the GKoZD is the only only who can give you Malefic Hunger, which is really awesome, so I'd also run TG & ZD instead of 2 TGs, just to get that spell, too.
  10. At CanCon, one of the top players ran that combination, but I don't know how well he did (Liam something, iirc). Wasn't in the top ten, that could have had any number of reasons, though.
  11. Usually done with Balewind Vortex & the Portals. Could throw in that Sylvaneth item, from the Harvestboon battalion I think, to get extra range (wouldn't be Gnarlroot then, though, obviously ... ^^), but I think that's almost overkill.
  12. Apart from usually one Varghulf, yes, it's SC or CE all the way ... (The advantage of having a book with so few model choices.) That only yourself can answer - both can be great (in the right list), and you can also do without both of them.
  13. Not in 2000 points, you won't ... (Behemoth limit of 4 still counts.)
  14. Yes, in Gristlegore that would be bad call and a waste. Everywhere else, where you can distribute traits freely, not so much ...
  15. The 'Huskard' is the whole model, so yes.
  16. There is if you can't afford both the slaughterqueen on throne and a separate hag. Also, the bigger base size makes it easier to keep things in the buff aura. Either you click the little button underneath each post that says 'Quote' or you select the relevant part and then a little button with 'Quote selection' appears next to it.
  17. Well, I guess if looking for Great Plagues, +1 is better, but from a reliance point of view to get prayers off, rerolls are even better (albeit, not by much).
  18. Yes, but Master of Rot & Ruin is only on one of your furnaces, like I wrote.
  19. From RAW, this. And it might not seem like a lot of benefit, but THEN I realized that with the Master of Rot and Ruin, that PP could potentially throw six dice at prayers every round (could also reroll successful ones, if he wanted), thus quickly (statistically in the first turn) triggering a Great Plague and getting Neverplague, which is gonna be really nice if you happen to have a second (or even more) Furnaces ... For me, even this niche case would probably worth it, because being able to reroll prayers for all Furnaces throughout the game is gonna be really nice.
